Chapter Eight
Back inside the tornado, Both Raimundo and Chase flew there with Dark Ayumi right in front of them.
“So,” Dark Ayumi said with an echoing voice. “Do you have anything to say…before I tear you limb from limb?”
“Ayumi,” Raimundo said. “Don’t do this!”
“I’m not Ayumi!” Dark Ayumi said. “Didn’t you hear what Hannibal said? I’m the darkness deep within the body of Ayumi. After waiting 1500 years, I can now finally unleash the power Ayumi didn’t use a long time ago!”
“I won’t let you succeed in your useless deeds!” Chase said, raising up his spear.
Then, Hannibal drops Ayumi’s soul on Ying-Ying’s back and jumped off. For some odd reason, Hannibal can fly by the effects of the tornado, and flew right at Chase. He grabbed hold of Chase’s spear, but Chase still grasped his spear, trying to not let it go.
“It’s just you and me now, Dragon of The Wind,” Dark Ayumi said.
Dark Ayumi then rose up her sword.
“Don’t do this…” Raimundo said. “Ayumi…just stop. I know it’s you in there. Let me help you. Please…it’s me…Rai…”
Back outside the tornado, the others still stands there ground, waiting for Raimundo to give out the sign.
“It’s sure taking Rai a long time to find her in there,” Clay said.
“We cannot wait for long,” Omi said. “Raimundo must be in trouble.”
“Just give him a little more time,” Kimiko said. “He’ll give it out.”
And then, he heard a piercing scream…
“!!” the scream sounded like it was in pain.
The warriors knew who it was.
“RAIMUNDO!!” The warriors shrieked.
“We can’t wait,” Kimiko said. “Let’s do it!”
“Wudai Mars Fire!” Kimiko shouted, pouring out fire from her hands.
Then, the tornado was engulfed in fire.
“Wudai Neptune Ice!” Omi shouted, pouring out ice from his hands.
“Wudai Crater Earth!” Clay said, kicking the ground as rocks flew straight toward the tornado.
Then, the tornado was engulfed in fire, ice, and rock, and before long, the tornado fell into pieces. The storm clouds then disappeared in no time.
“Glad it’s over,” Kimiko said.
“But where’s Raimundo and Ayumi?” Omi asked.
Dojo then came out of nowhere and looked around.
“Funny,” Dojo said. “They should be in that thing.”
“Did we accidentally…you know…” Clay said.
“I do not know for sure, Clay,” Omi said. “But something is down.”
“Something is up,” Kimiko corrected.
Then, there was a dark vortex right in front of them. When it disappeared, there was Chase Young and Hannibal Bean, with the Ying-Ying bird standing right there.
“I had enough of your trickeries, Hannibal Bean,” Chase said. “Give up Ayumi now, or else!”
“Stop!” Omi said. “What in the name of evil trickeries is going off, here?”
“On, Omi,” Kimiko corrected again.
“Where’s Raimundo?” Omi asked.
“Too late, Cheese-Ball,” an echoing voice said.
They then looked to find Dark Ayumi standing there, holding her spear and her sword up, but the sword…went straight through Raimundo’s stomach, as there was blood covered up in the other half of the sword, and there were blood dripping from Raimundo’s lips. His eyes were wide open, with tears in his eyes.
“RAIMUNDO!!” The Warriors cried out.
Dark Ayumi then pulled her sword back, which was covered in blood. Raimundo looked at her for a split second, and then fell to the ground on his back. The warriors gasp at the sight.
“Hannibal, can we please leave now?” Dark Ayumi asked. “We’ve done enough for one day.”
“Sure thing,” Hannibal said.
“Don’t worry, though,” Dark Ayumi said. “We’ll get the rest, too.”
“Ayumi!” Omi shouted. “What has happened to you?! This is not like you at all!”
“Didn’t Raimundo tell you guys, yet?” Dark Ayumi asked. “Ayumi has turned to the dark side 1500 years ago!”
“What?!” the warriors shrieked.
“You dweebs don’t understand a word at all, do you?” Dark Ayumi asked.
“Let’s get going,” Hannibal said.
“Right,” Dark Ayumi said.
Hannibal then jumped back on Ying-Ying, and held up Soul Ayumi in his arms.
“WHAT?!” the warriors shrieked.
“There are TWO Ayumi’s!?” Dojo asked.
“You guys never understand, do you?” Dark Ayumi asked.
Dark Ayumi then grown black evil-looking wings as she, Hannibal, and Ying-Ying took off with Soul Ayumi with them. The others then ran to aid Raimundo, who has his arms around his waist, gasping for air.
“Raimundo!” Omi said. “Are you alright?”
“I’m…I’m sorry…” Raimundo whispered.
“Save your strength, Rai,” Kimiko said. “You’re going to need it.”
Omi then looked up at Chase.
“Chase Young,” Omi said. “Why are you here?”
“I tried my best to help save Ayumi,” Chase said. “But it’s too late.”
“Can you please heal Raimundo?” Kimiko asked with tears in her eyes. “He’s in terrible pain.”
“Sorry, but its fate,” Chase said. “I can’t change that. But there is a way to help your friend.”
“How?” Clay asked.
Chase then held up his hand, and started to glow a white light. He then held it out to Omi.
“Your friend might be fated to die,” Chase said. “But as soon as he does, put this in his body. It’ll help save his soul.”
Omi then slowly takes the light from Chase and looks at it.
“It’s the Light of Life,” Chase said. “It can only be used once in a lifetime.”
“But why are you helping us?” Omi asked.
“To help save Ayumi,” Chase said. “Raimundo will tell you all about all of this when this is done.”
“But Raimundo’s going to live,” Kimiko said. “He’s going to be.”
Then, Raimundo’s breathing then gotten worse, as tears fell down his face.
“Help…me…” Raimundo whispered.
Then, he closed his eyes…and everything went black…
