Read & Review. P.S., I don't own Roy, Katira, Raja, Ceevee and Raijato. They belong to titaxiaolindown. This is a parody story of Grim Tales from down before over at by a guy called bleedman. Anyways, enjoy!
Somewhere Down Below...
Somewhere down below, under the surface world, a portal opens up and a young kid stick his head out. For some reason, he only has one red-blood eye and a blue eye.
"Coast is clear," he said.
He jumped out of the portal, and helped out an older-looking girl, that looks like a ragged doll that was once-broken-all-sewed-up and her left eye is missing. She was a half human, half bean.
"Pray tell," she said. "What is this sound that pierces mine ears? It sings of loneliness and longing--my heart bleeds from the very whisper of it! Is it the voice of souls tormented in the shadows? Or merely the wind that sweeps past us?"
The boy looked around, but didn't see or hear anything.
"Nah!" he said as he took the girl's hand and they both walked toward a few bushes of purple flowers. "You're just hearing things!"
"Can I trust thee, o heir to the Heylin Side?" the girl went on. "Is there not some way for thee to prove this excursion not some ruse with which to blind me? A false promise leading ineveitabley to my fall?"
Then, they stopped and the girl walked forward toward the bushes of flowers.
"Um..." the boy was thinking. "No."
"I fear that we have tresspassed into lands most perilous and strange," the girl kept going on. "We do not belong here, even as the sun is a stranger to the hours of night.
My name is Roy Bean, heir to the Heylin Side. This is my big sister, Katira Bean. I brought her here for a special reason: NECROPOLLINS. A very rare and deadly flowers found only in the darkest corners above the surface world. She has long wanted to gaze upon these beautiful gardens, and by the smile on her face she seemed very happy. I'm glad. It's just a small favor I wanted to do for her...after what happened.
Then, Katira suddenly smiled.
"These blooms are the very picture of an oasis in barren desert sands," she said as she walked closer to the Necropollins. "Such exquisitness! Words cannot express my gratitude to thee, my brother. Just this glimpse of these fairs blossoms will soothe my soul for years to come."
By the way, in case you're wondering where we are...this is the realm of the Malebolgia. If Dad finds out we're here, Katira will be in soooo much trouble...
Katira kneeled down and tried to grab an armful of the Necropollins. Roy just stood and watched. Then, right behind them, a deadly creature approaches them. Roy sensed what it was, then turned around, holding up a sword.
Oh crap! he thought. We've got company!
Katira stood up, with an armful of the Necropollins, then spotted her little brother in a hurry.
"Brother dearest," she said. "What hast troubled thee? What hast thou seen? Does some unknown danger lurk beyond, in the shadowy depths of this forbidden realm?"
"Yeah!" Roy said. "And it's an ugly one!"
Then, a creature with a lot of horns growing out of his back approaches them.
"My, my, my," the creature said. "What do we have here? Little toys for me to play with..."
Then, Roy raised up his sword.
"Stay back!" he said. "I'm warning you!"
"You're wait of your league, boy," the creature said. "You need to know your place..."
Then, the creature slams Roy onto the floor, and he dropped his sword. Katira ran to aid her brother.
"Waddya say we play a little game of Hide and Seek?" the creature said. "Now I'll seek...AND YOU RUN LIKE HELL!"
Katira placed a hand behind Roy's head as Roy stood up.
"Katira!" Roy said. "Run! Get out of here! Forget about me!"
But instead, Katira wasn't holding back.
"Out thou high on thine own ego, foul beast?" she asked. "Thou dost not frighten me. Thy looks may be neither radiant, nor bewitching, but lo, inside they monstrous visage lieth stupidity, worthy of a thousand fools."
The creature then placed one of his hands on Katira's cheeks.
"You've got a smart mouth there girl," he sneered. "I think I wanna rip it out nice and slo..."
Before he can continued, a person who wears a black suit with a red cape appeared behind the kids, and sliced the creature's hand off.
"GAAAAAAA!!" he shouted out.
Author's Note: By the way, the person that's wearing the black suit and the red cape, that's Hellspawn!
"Back away, Demon!" Hellspawn shouted. "NOW!!"
"They're mine, Hellspawn," the creature said. "I found them first. So hand them over!"
"These little ones are under my protection, demon!" Hellspawn replied. "Take your stupid games elsewhere!"
"THEY'RE MINE, I TELL YA!" the creature shouted. "MINE!! MINE!! MINE!!"
Then, they both attacked while Katira and Roy watches.
"Man, this is so cool, huh Katira?" Roy asked. "I never thought I'd get to see this! Two of hell's mightiest warriors duking it out - over us!"
"Thou has brought this senseless contest upon them, my brother," Katira said. "I sense that thou wilt witness more in the vein after your ascension to our father's throne. After you become the next ruler of all Heylin."
Roy sighed.
"You had to remind me," he said.
My big sis always worries about me. Everytime I get us in trouble she always ends up protecting me, holding me in her arms so no harm comes to me. I remember Uncle Jack once tell her...
YOU WILL BE YOUR BROTHER'S KEEPER.
She didn't always look like this...
And we weren't always this close...
Before that incident three days ago...
It was the night of my very first...
Halloween.
Three Days Ago...
The Bean family was walking into a forest. Roy didn't have a blue eye, and Katira looked normal than being a ragged doll and still have two eyes. Then they stopped to an area where some trees were surround them, but with doors with different shapes.
"So, Dad?" Roy said. "What is this thing you call...Halloween?"
"Well, my dear son," Hannibal Roy Bean said. "Have you ever wondered where holidays come from?"
Roy tried to think.
"Um..." he said. "Not really, no."
Katira was holding her mother's hand as they looked straight to a tree with a door that's a shape of a pumpkin with a scarey face on it.
"Well then," Hannibal went on. "I believe it's time...you begin."
He opened the door and Katira and Roy stepped in.
"Watch your step," Raja said.
Then, the door disappeared and Roy and Katira were alone in the darkness.
"What is this place?" Roy asked.
Then, they suddenly heard music, but in a dark tone. Then, they saw spirits...ghost spirits. They were starting to sing.
Boys and girls of every age
Wouldn't you like to see something strange?
Come with us and you will see
this, our town of Halloween!
Then, they were outside a gate into a strange-looking city in a cemetary.
"Whoa..." Roy said.
The spirits continued to sing.
This is Halloween! This is Halloween!
Pumpkins scream in the dead of night!
This is Halloween!
Everybody makes a scene trick or treat
Till the neighbors gonna die of fright!
It's our town! Everybody scream!
In our town of Halloween...
I am the one hiding under your bed
Teeth ground sharp, and eyes glowing red!
Roy was seen in an empty room, looking under a bed, seeing sharp teeth and glowing red eyes.
I am the one hiding under your stairs
Fingers-like-snakes and spiders in my hair!
Katira was in a hallway and spotted a hand with little snakes for fingers.
This is Halloween! This is Halloween!
Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!
In this town we call home,
Everyone hail to the pumpkin song
In this town, don't we love it now?
Everybody's waiting for the next surpise
Round that corner man
Hiding in the trash can
Something's waiting now to pounce and how you'll SCREAM!
This is Halloween!
Red 'n' Black!
And slimy green!
Aren't you scared?
Well, that's just fine
Say it once, say it twice
Take the chance and roll the dice
Ride with the moon in the dead of night
Everybody scream, everybody scream!
In our town of Halloween...
I am the clown with the tear-away face
Here in a flash and gone without a trace!
Roy was in the darkness again, and spotted a clown riding a cycle. The clown teared away his own face and was gone without a trace.
I am the who when you call "who's there?"
I am the wind blowing through your hair
Katira was sitting on a field next to a woman that looks sewed up, with their hair blowing in the air.
I am the shadow on the moon at night...
Filling your dreams with the brim of fright!
This is Halloween! This is Halloween!
Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!
Tender lumplings everywhere
Life's no fun without a good scare
Roy was surround by a dead boy and a bat.
That's our job
But we're not mean
In our town of Halloween
Katira was also surround by a couple of adults that looked dead.
In this town, don't we love it now?
Everybody's waiting for the next surpise!
Skeleton Jack might catch you in the back and scream
Like a banshee make you jump out of your skin!
This is Halloween! Everybody scream!
Then, two skeleton-like hands grabbed both Roy and Katira, and the force was coming out of the ground.
Won't ya please make way for a very special guy?
Our man Jack is king of the pumpking patch
Everyone hail to the pumpkin king now
This is Halloween! This is Halloween!
Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!
In our town we call home,
everyone hail to the pumpkin song
Then, a skeleton figure wearing a dark suit rose out of the ground, grabbing Roy and Katira closer.
Author's Note: If you seen The Nightmare Before Christmas, you would definately know who this is!
"BOO!" the skeleton shouted.
Katira didn't look afraid, but Roy was.
"GAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!" Roy shouted. "MOM! HE'S SCARING ME!! MOM!"
Then, Raja and Hannibal Roy Bean suddenly appeared.
"I see you have finally met Uncle Jack Skellington," Raja said happily.
"Wha...?" Roy still doesn't get it.
Jack Skellington then laid the kids down and kneeled down right in front of Roy.
"It's been a while, Roy," he said. "Look at you, my how you've grown! Why the last time I saw you, you were but a tiny little tot."
He then faced Katira.
"And you must be Katira Bean," Jack said.
"I am honored to meet thee, oh King of Pumpkins, Lord of Halloween," Katira said. "I must confess myself enamoured of thy holiday, which bringeth a most pleasant dark to an otherwise all-too-bright season. And thy welcome performance was an outstanding display; my compliments."
"Charmed," Jack said.
Hannibal laid two of his hands (if beans have any) on Katira's shoulders and Raja was holding up Roy.
"Hannibal Bean," Jack said as he bowed. "I'm so glad you could make it. Thank you for coming."
He then faced Raja.
"My fine lady," Jack went on. "You honor us with your presense."
"Thank you," Raja said.
"Ladies and gentlemen!" the mayor announced. "As mayor, it is my pleasure to introduce our guests, who will be joining us this night as we celebrate this year's Halloween. I welcome you Mr. and Mrs. Bean and family!
Then, everybody clapped and clapped.
