Cadence’s Confessions
A/N: You heard from Leonard and now you’ll hear from my OC Cadence. Lol, I’m always writing something, my parents are starting to find it unhealthy. X.x But you all find it awesome because I’m always updating and stuff!!! YAY FOR YOU! I still need to find inspiration for my next story which I’m already brainstorming for.
The sun was already setting in the horizon. Cadence was in her cabin along with one of her best friends Edward the Platypus and her other cabin mates Chip and Skip. She was comfy in her black and yellow pyjamas and her hair was in a high ponytail held by a teal ribbon. She sat cross-legged on her bed leaning against the head board. She took out her diary and her purple inked pen and started to write.
Dear Diary,
I can’t keep these annoying secrets inside of me any longer. So, here are my confessions.
Let’s start by my weakness: love. Breaking up with Edward was really tough for me. But, I think it’s my entire fault after all, I had Leonard to sweep me off my feet. Wow, I can remember that day like a movie I watched 20 times. When I tripped on the soccer ball and landed in his arms and kissed him. My heart was pounding a mile a minute before I knew what just happened and broke down. We both want to move on and forget about it but I can’t.
I can’t believe Edward is still as close after we broke up. Maybe everyone is wrong and that Edward does has a heart. He loved me didn’t he?
I’m asking myself what is this beating in my heart and it happens every time Leonard does something so sweet it makes me want to kiss him deeply. I can’t help but look into his wonderfully coloured teal eyes when I push aside his soft black and teal hair from his face.
Another confession: I actually enjoyed the stupid pageant! Just for the record, it was exciting but it’s something I will never do again. Unless you paid me a large amount. That night, when Leonard cheered me up with that yellow daisy, my heart was fluttering and it took over my mind. We were closing the space between us until we were sprayed by the sparkling grape juice mess. There’s one thing that I only know. Leonard grabbed my hand and squeezed it tight as we lay next to each other: laughing. It made my heart go faster than the speed of sound.
Leonard, what have you done? I think I tripped all over again.
Cadence
She closed her diary just in time. She heard the floor board creak toward her. She looked up. It was Edward just 2 feet away from her bed.
“Dammit!” He cursed. She giggled. She shoved her diary in her bag before looking out the window towards Leonard’s cabin smiling. She saw the face of a friend in the window. It waved; she waved back. Before they knew it she was outside her cabin with her head on his shoulder looking at the stars. His arm was around her, warming her cold arms.
A/N: Doing a songfic RIGHT NOW! x Again with Leonard and my OC. Don’t you love this pairing I made? I know you do. Too bad there’ll never be an episode where there’s a contribution to the Lemmings and a girl actually goes to Camp Kidney D.
I’m on a roll here with oneshots and some songfics are coming along.
Peace,
