Sigh this will be my pet fanfic and no “mary-sueism” in here I hope. Also I plan on this being at a certain time in both plots of both animes.

One indigo haired being… okay I’m sure you’ve had enough of that monotone type of narrator so boring. Which is why I am not that type oh no the horror, me? Boring? Sob. Right well there is a very good way to start this story, as with all stories, where they start.

A vivid pale blue light enveloped the indigo haired sorceress then she vanished. She left never to return such a danger to her friends as she was. Her normally deep blue cloak blowing in the wind of a new world, one that is far more dangerous than that of the world she had just left behind her. However what was following her was more dangerous than even this world had seen.

Hiei felt a slight tremor then sensed something. You see there were less humans appearing in Maikai than when the gap was first disintegrated between the two worlds. He had not detected a human presence for a great deal of time. Yet now he had noticed a ningen’s aura the first in months and being as bored as he was decided that it would be he who would return the being to its world. This is Hiei we’re talking about and so as we know he can get bored sitting in Mukuro’s palace or even basic training to maintain his strength.

Instead of using the bug looking thing that he normally used when patrolling he decided to go on foot seeing as he was close to who ever it was. By the strength of the aura he’d say it’s about seven miles off. To him an it was exercise, though a weak one.

She stood there confusion written clearly then she mutters, “I shouldn’t be here and where is here anyways”? She collapsed sitting using her right arm for support, “must have been far if I’m so drained”. Then she sensed someone was nearing, “Who’s there?” her voice flat yet not.

(Both POV)

Hiei had reached a tree and was observing thinking when he was brought out of his thoughts by the girl below speaking. Her voice was dejected, but held a note of strength. He now noticed that glowing symbols crimson in color. Knowing that she could be under some sort of enchantment he leapt to below catching himself in a graceful crouch.

He allowed her shock to pass then asked, “Who are you” this sounding more like a command than a question.

“Raven and you are?” she said her voice cracked for only a moment but it was there for him to notice. She sighed then stood her cloak blowing in the Maikai air revealing the belt she wears that has the letter t on it in capital form.

He nodded “It’s Hiei. Now follow me” he told then walked to the edge of the small clearing she was in. Then looked back she was already only three feet behind him and nearing. They walked or in Raven’s case hovered this way for several minutes until.

She hovered to his side then asked, “Do we have to go so slow?” as Hiei turned to look at her he noticed she was hovering. Well I could say that he was shocked but I’ll leave you to your imaginations there.

“Ordinary humans can’t fly. How come you can?” he was startled to say the least but was hiding it well behind his emotionless mask

She blinked then her eyes narrowed slightly “I am a sorceress, and yes ordinary humans can’t fly. Except in their planes”

If he was shocked before he was even more so now. Once that passed his eyes narrowed he questioned, “How did you get here; by your own power or by accident?”

Her face then went down cast, her eyes closed; she then looked up, for him to see it was truth she spoke, “Both”. The deep blue haired girl then turned and looked at the trees surrounding them and began again, “In an attempt to prevent the deaths of my comrades I was leaving to my place of birth. However as I neared the portal to my homeland another one appeared blocking my way and it was either the risk or my allies lives, I chose risk.”

She turned to the trees and lifting her hands she raised her hood, which she had been mending since she had fallen through to Maikai. It just now was finally whole enough to be raised above her head to hide her nose and other features of her face showing only her lower cheeks, mouth, and eyes. She turned back to face him, “Please don’t ask about my other world unless in dire conditions, know that I have good reason for asking this.” The girl looked to the ground clearly upset about something.

“You know that someone will have to know eventually” his eyes unclear as to whether he was even feeling emotion, and if he was you would not know what emotion it would be. He turned and they resumed their progress in reaching Mukuro’s castle at their current pace it would only be a matter of minutes.

(Meanwhile in Reikai)

Koenma pelted his fists on his desk in exasperation thinking, “Why of all times for someone evil to attempt to break through to Maikai from an alternate dimension? This leaves all three worlds vulnerable!” He gave two more jolts of his fists to ease frustration before he called his subordinates to further action, “Ogres! Gather everything you have on a ‘Scathe’ the sooner the better unless you want to lose your jobs! Also we are reinstating Yusuke Urimeshi as spirit detective as of five minutes ago”, so loud was his yell that it echoed through all of the halls. In about 90 seconds he had all the info they had on ‘Scathe’. Even in it, it had that ‘Scathe’ was an alias for Trigon.

Five minutes later, after reading the stack… “What!” Koenma’s yell resonated all through the palace and even went to the edges of Reikai, and maybe even farther, who knows. Once he read this stack which he could only do in his teenager form. That’s one tall stack, and well anyway, his next action was to yell into the communicator he had given Yusuke. “Yusuke get your ass down here, right now!” The said spirit detective was snapped from being half asleep and was now fully conscious.

“What is it Koenma?” The former spirit detective reinstated asked quite worried.

“It’s something bad enough for you to be reinstated detective, but not only that I know that I couldn’t stop you from this even if I tried. Yusuke if something is not done the world will end, and not just yours but all three of them!!” this immediately had the black haired hanyou startled into dead silence. So quiet… not like him that’s bad, very bad.

When he finally overcame his shock he cursed rather loudly then called, “Fine get me a portal to Reikai brief me when I get there!”

“Botan’s already on her way I want you to gather everyone at Genkai's they should already be expecting you.” Koenma sighed rubbing his temples in an attempt to ease stress though it did nothing at all. “Yusuke we’re all depending on you guys again” with that he turned his end of the conversation off.

(With Kurama)

He had just gotten off the phone with his mother when it happened. And despite it being late at night she was in another time zone with her husband. It had something to do with his work and he could take her along so he did.

“Hey Kurama I need you to come with me, and the details will be cleared up later we’re going to stop to pick up Kuwabara. We’re going to need all the help we can get on this one I don’t think he’ll be objecting to help either when he knows what’s at stake.” Yusuke was slightly out of breath and his clothes were wrinkled as well as he hadn’t even put his hair in its normal gelled back style. Taking these things into account as well as what time it was hw figured that he had gotten orders on something very important.

The said kitsune nodded, “Right well give me one second.” He left and came back with a odd looking communicator, “With this I can contact our other friends in Maikai so they know where to meet us there” he had already changed into his fighting clothes.

Yusuke nodded “Alright well come on.” the two's feet padded down the pavement to kuwabara's house.

(Yusuke arrives at Kuwabara’s with Kurama)

Kuwabara was happily sleep talking when there was a knock on his bedroom door he mumbled something about warthogs and bananas teaming up to take over the world. Yep that sounds stupid even in his dreams he makes no sense. This was definitely Kuwabara orange hair and all.

Then “Damn it Kuwabara get your ass out here and you better be dressed to go to Reikai because I ain’t having you delay us!”

Well needless to say that woke him up. “Urimeshi why ya wakin’ me so early it ain’t even… hey wait, what’re you doing here?” He was stumbling around his room then came out in a white t-shirt and jeans “What gives Urimeshi I know you ain’t here just for old time’s sake?”

Yusuke just shook his head his hair had somehow gotten gelled back, along the way, “Ask Koenma we’re heading to Reikai.” Well we know he only said that much to shut him up.

(Meanwhile at Genkai’s temple)

“Urg, what’s taking them so long?!” Botan fumed about them delaying their arrival to spirit world.

Genkai shrugged, “Just the dimwit being the dimwit is all. There’s no surprise there.”

“Hey Botan you talkin’ about us?” This shocked Botan to jump about ten feet in the air give or take. most everyone gave a smirk trying to hold back their laughter. however you know Yusuke right, well he was laughing like he was on laughing gas. And yes, my ears still are ringing from it I'd better have not gotten a headache.

“Yusuke, don’t do that!” Botan yelled as loud as her voice would let her, and that is very loud man that girl has got some lungs.

“Finally you get here, well I hope you’re happy, you’re late! You never will change, dimwit.” Genkai sighed shaking her head. Then Botan opened the portal, with a mumble, and rubbing her ankles that hurt from that earlier jump.

(Back with Hiei and Raven)

They flew in silence until ding, ding went Hiei’s communicator causing him to stop and open it, “what is it Koenma?”

“Hiei I do hope you’re not to busy, because I need you to go to the location provided. It's big all three worlds at risk big.” His tone was serious and Hiei knew that not to be a good thing.

“Fine, but I'll be arriving with company one person”, his expression in the screen/mirror of the communicator was devoid of anything except that it was there.

“Mukuro?” Koenma inquired of him. He knew that Hiei most likely would bring her along but he was in for a shocker.

“No”, Hiei’s voice came out flat, “I will be accompanied... by a sorceress.” Raven turns now to look at him a look of objection on her face. She didn't know whether to be glad that was all he told or not.

“Hmm alright just be there Hiei” Koenma sighed then his end cut off, and Hiei ended his line as well. leaving his mirror open after though to receive the location where they would meet him.

“This must be dire for Koenma to bring Yusuke into Maikai” his face held little, yet there, mirth. The Reikai Tentai are back in action, including Hiei. Maybe those months of boredom finally did something for him, ne?

"Joy now where to", Raven asked not just hinting her sarcasm but letting it become as loud as... ear bleeding now you can stop Raven. Any day now for that matter. Hiei looked at his compact then pointed to a seemingly random direction. Which will arrive first, as in race time! Hang on though who exactly was Kurama talking about when he said "our friends in Maikai"?

Well I hope that, that, was good enough for a first chapter and that was the longest thing I’ve ever done in one chapter. You are so special aren’t you, of course you are! hugs computer then in the background "She's hugging the computer, again". Remind me later who that was talking well anyway toodles.
