Will this is my first Kingdom Hearts story and I'm a little nervous that it won't turn out so will. But hey I wont know if I don't try right. Will that's all I have to say, I don't like to talk a lot sometimes.

Reverie

Prologue

Nobodies.

What is a nobody anyway? An empty shell of a body without its heart, but even without the heart is it still an empty shell? Then what dose that make of the soul, is it just an unimportant thing for the heart? Many nobodies believe it’s not as important as the heart. But one nobody will think differently.

“Roxas have you seen my Gameboy?”

“No I have not seen it Axel.” The blonde said lazily as he sat on his best friend’s bed.

Roxas watched the red head turn his room upside down as he tried to find his Gameboy. Today was their day off together and they didn’t have to do anything but whatever they wanted. It was a little bit rare for them to have a day off together since Xemnas doesn’t have a rooting of who gets a break. So it was nice that they got one together.

“Found it!” Axel shouted as he held up the Gameboy.

The fire user grinned ear to ear as he started to turn it on. But as soon as he did the thing went dead.

“NO! I need new batteries!” Axel cried.

“Then let’s go ask Demyx for some, he should be here to.” Roxas jumped off the bed.

Axel nodded in agreement and rose to his feet as he followed the blonde out of the room. Demyx room wasn’t far from the red head’s; it was actually down the hall. They came upon Demyx’s door that had number 9 on it. Roxas knocked on the door lightly until it was answered by the water user.

“Hey Demyx do you have any batteries? Axel’s Gameboy died?” Roxas asked.

“Let me look.” Demyx gestured the two to come in.

Demyx room was pretty much what you would expect from a music loving teen. Different musical instruments here and there, piles of CDs in a corner by a computer, new and old style stereos everywhere and his sitar sitting in another corner.

The Blonde musician walked over to his desk, where the computer sat, and pulled one out some batteries.

“Catch.” Demyx through them to Axel.

The red head catch them and quickly replaced the old ones with the new ones. Axel grinned when he saw that his Gameboy started without any problems.

“Hey you guys want to pull a prank on Xigbar, he’s gone for the day?” Demyx grinned evilly.

Axel looked up from his Gameboy and looked over to Roxas for a moment before they looked back at Demyx with a grin.

“Sure we’re in.” said the red head.

Zexion stared at the puzzle cube in his hands as juggled it a bit. The schemer was completely bored out of his mind right now. Mostly the whole organization was out on missions while the rest stayed behind to keep an eye on things.

Walking down the hall with the puzzle cube still in his hand he spotted Axel sinking into Xigbar’s room with a box with who knows what. With nothing better to do the young man walked over to number II’s room to see not only Axel but Demyx and Roxas.

“What are you three up to?” Zexion asked.

The three jumped a bit in surprise and looked over to the door to see Zexion.

“We’re playing a trick on Xigbar.” Demyx grinned.

“Huh, well make sure he doesn’t catch you or your all target practices for him.” The blue haired man said as he walked away.

After about 5 minutes later the three mischief makers came out of Xigbar’s room and made their merry way down the hall.

“Do you think he’ll catch us?” Roxas asked.

“Nah, there is no way he’ll figure it out that it’s us.” Demyx said cockily.

“Ha, and that’s coming from someone that’s gets caught every time.”

The three nobodies stopped and looked behind them to see the one and only Savage Nymph.

“That’s because you always tell everyone it’s him.” Roxas pointed out.

“Hn, whatever.” Larxene snorted.

“Your not going to tell Xigbar are you?” the musician asked in a nervous voice.

“It depends, what’s in it for me?” Larxene asked.

“How about a romantic evening with me?” Axel said with a sexy grin.

“I think I’ll pass. Anyway I won’t tell Xigbar that you did it if you be my servant for a week Demyx, and do everything I say.” The blonde smiled evilly as she rubbed her hands together.

Demyx gulped as he stared at Larxene with horror. “I-I…I… you got a deal.”

“Wonderful.” She said cheerfully and started to walk away. But before she got any farther she stopped and looked at Axel.

“By the way is that bitch back yet?” she asked the red head.

“As soon as Lexaeus and Xaldin come back, duh.” said Axel.

Larxene snorted continued on her merry way.

“She so wants me.” The red head grinned.

Both of the blondes stared at Axel and just shook their heads at him.

As the day went on members of the Organization slowly returned, including Xigbar. The older man was in a fowl mood, his mission was completed but it didn’t go as he had hoped it did. All he wanted to do was just return to his room and relax and shoot birds that fly pass his window.

Not too far behind Demyx watched the older man heading to his room where his doom awaited.

In the game room Axel was sitting on the couch and played on his GameBoy while Roxas was flipping through channels on the TV.

Suddenly they heard a loud noise and an angry roar that sounded like Xigbar. Both of the Nobodies looked at each other until they both grinned.

“Looks like Xigbar found our surprise.” said Axel.

“You two are so immature…” said a feminine voice from the doorway.

A soul.

What is a soul anyway? Is it just something that’s not real and no one thinks is there, or is it a heart? But if it is, wouldn’t the body just be an empty emotionless nonliving shell? Then there would be no Nobodies if it was.

But what really is a soul, is it just as important as the heart? Or is it just something useless that is of no importance.
