Chapter Twenty-Five

Conclusion

Ami starred at the two suns from on top of the roof of the Palace. The suns were warm against her skin and the breeze was very gentle. She wore a ceremonial dress for the Sorcerer’s new rank in the brotherhood. Ami felt the pentangle necklace around her neck. As soon as the Sorcerer returns, she would return it to him.

The Sorcerer came from behind, wearing a brand new outfit for his rank. He wore his long velvet coat, a white poet shirt, black trousers and black boots. It was more or less his original clothing, but at least he looked a lot cleaner. Ami turned around to face him and smiled. He looked like someone from a very royal family. He sulked.

“What’s the matter?” Ami asked.

“I look ridiculous wearing this head piece.” He sighed, adjusting the silver head piece on his head. “It doesn’t help when one has curly hair. Plus, I look terrible wearing this.”

“Oh stop complaining, Sorcerer. You look very attractive in velvet.”

“I look an ass.” He complained. Ami rolled her eyes and smirked.

“So, what did they rank you as?” She asked.

The Sorcerer smiled. “I’m the new White Guardian.” He said, as if he was a child showing off his new toy.

Ami grinned. “No kidding. Sorcerer, that’s wonderful!”

“I know, I was shocked when I found out about it. Nearly fainted in front of the alter.”

“Oh,” Ami said, unclipping the necklace from her neck and then clipping it around the Sorcerer’s. “This belongs to you.”

“Of course, how could I forget?” He looked down at the pentagram and smiled. He dropped it and starred down at Ami. “I need to you ask you something.”

“Uh huh?”

“Who was it that spoke to you in the dungeon?” The Sorcerer asked.

Ami bit the bottom of her lip gently. “You know how you were trying to discover what your true powers are?”

“Yes.”

“I’ve seen it... and it was phenomenal.” She started. “You probably wouldn’t believe me if I told you, but that’s okay. He told me you wouldn’t anyway.”

“Who is it?”

“Rassilon said he was proud of you.” Ami held onto his hands.

His eyes widen. “Rassilon told you this?” He wanted to believe her, part of him didn’t, another part was lost.

“It’s no wonder why you’re so powerful, Sorcerer. He’s your great grandfather.” She licked her lips. “I knew you wouldn’t believe me if I told you.”

The Sorcerer shook his head. “I do believe you, Ami, even though it sounds gullible of me saying so.” Ami laughed slightly. He held onto her hands. “If it is true, perhaps he wouldn’t mind me asking you to marry me.”

Ami looked vacantly up at him. “What?”

He pulled a small box out from his pocket, opened it for her to see a brilliant looking ring with diamonds and silver. The Sorcerer took the ring out from the box. “Marry me, Ami.”

Ami took the ring off his hand, examined and cried with happiness. She looked up at him. “You know I will.” She slipped the ring on her finger.

The Sorcerer had a wolf grin on his face, he held onto Ami and kissed her with every bit of passion he had. Ami stood up on her tip toes, wrapping her arms around his neck and quickly placing her eager lips against his. She felt some of his awesome power pouring down in her lungs as the kiss grew deeper. The Sorcerer didn’t want to walk away from this, and nor did Ami.
