Hey all this is my first NCIS fanfic I hope you like it. Please R&R, and please NO FLAMES.

Chapter 1

Gibbs took a sip of his coffee as he walked towards the NCIS building. He reached the door and opened it, but stopped when he heard a small whimper. Gibbs looked around and saw next to the door behind the bush was a little girl.

She was around 5 years old. The young girl had short light brown hair. Her eyes were an emerald green.

“Are you hurt?” asked Gibbs as he stepped closer to the shaking girl.

The reason he asked this was because the girl’s shirt was covered in blood. The blood was on her shoulder and stomach. Gibbs could also tell that she was dressed in light pink pajamas.

The little girl tried to back away from Gibbs but couldn’t, because her back pressed against the building.

“I won’t hurt you, it’s cold out, and you must be freezing. Come inside with me.” said Gibbs trying to convince the girl o come with him. “You’ll be safe inside.”

The girl’s tear, and fear filled eyes never left Jethro’s blue eyes, but she finally stood up and walked slowly over.

“What’s your name?” asked Gibbs in a small voice, trying to gain the girl’s trust.

She lowered her head as a way of being shy. “Jenna” Was all she said.

Gibbs gave a small smile and opened the door again. Jenna walked in with Gibbs behind her.

Jethro walked over to the elevator and pressed the down button. Jenna was standing next to him, her eyes wandering around. The door finally opened. The two stepped in, moments later the doors reopened.

“Abby, are you here” asked Gibbs as he walked into the lab.

“Morning Gibbs” said Abby as she walked over “And who is this?”

“I found her outside, and as you can tell she’s wearing a blood covered shirt.” said Gibbs “I don’t know if it’s hers or not. All I need is another shirt for her to wear.”

“Got it” replied Abby as she walked to the back.

She returned with a black t-shirt.

“It may be big but it will do” said Abby.

Gibbs took the shirt and gave it to Jenna. “Jenna can you please go in there and change into this.”

Jenna stared at Gibbs for a bit then nodded and walked into the back room and returned a few minuets later. The shirt came to her knees and she still had her pajama pants on.

“Thank you” was all she said as she handed Abby her blood covered shirt.

“No problem, what’s that you have there” asked Abby as she pointed to a small plushie that Jenna held.

Jenna showed Abby the small plush, it was Cardcaptor Sakura. The doll was dressed in the winter school uniform.

“You like Sakura.” asked Abby.

Jenna nodded, and then Gibbs tapped her on the shoulder.

“We have to go upstairs, okay” he said

Jenna nodded and followed Gibbs but turned around and waved good-bye to Abby.
