Neji looks in the mirror, a stone-faced expression on his face. He’s unsure about his destiny.

Perhaps one day he’ll look back and see that he made a good decision in submitting to his clan.

Perhaps one day he won’t regret letting her go.

Perhaps one day he’ll stop loving her.

Perhaps one day he’ll wake up with that woman in his arms and be happy.

Perhaps one day he’ll love that woman for who she is.

Perhaps one day he’ll stop comparing her to Tenten.

Perhaps one day Tenten will marry and he’ll be there.

Perhaps one day he’ll meet Tenten’s children and not wonder how they’d be different if he were their father.

Perhaps one day he’ll learn to smile.

And perhaps one day he’ll stop lying to himself. Because the world isn’t right without Tenten in his arms.
