Mint looked at the online messenger icon on the toolbar as it lit up. A small box came up saying "Slickreporter has signed in." JD was probably bored out of his mind, and needed someone to talk to.

LorikeetGirl: Hey!
Slickreporter: Hi back
LorikeetGirl: How have you been?
Slickreporter: I'm good. Still doing my Mew research.
LorikeetGirl: Oh.
Slickreporter: Yeah, I can't seem to find anyone who wants to talk about it though.
LorikeetGirl: Chin up, JD. I'm sure you'll find someone who wants to talk about it

Mint sighed as she stared at the screen. Tapping her fingers on the pine desk, as she sat deep in thought. As she contemplated whether or not she should tell him about her biggest secret.

Well, it wouldn't hurt to tell him that I'm a Mew, would it?

Noticing how ridiculous she was being slapped herself lightly on the face before replying to her reporter friend.

LorikeetGirl: I hope you find someone to talk to soon, JD-kun.
Slickreporter: Me too.
LorikeetGirl: hugs

LorikeetGirl: I like.

Slickreporter is Busy and may not reply.

“Well that’s weird… He normally doesn’t just leave like that…“ Mint raised a delicate eyebrow as she stared at the screen in confusion. She shrugged her shoulder guessing that maybe msn was playing up or something.

LorikeetGirl: JD?
LorikeetGirl: Hello?
Slickreporter: Back. Just had to go get something to eat
LorikeetGirl: LOL
Slickreporter: Yeah
LorikeetGirl: So, what you doing tomorrow?
Slickreporter: Not much. Still doing my research and stuff
LorikeetGirl: That's good
Slickreporter: Yeah, it is
LorikeetGirl: I've heard all the girls at the cafe talk about you
Slickreporter: Really?
LorikeetGirl: Yeah
Slickreporter: That's nice
LorikeetGirl: So, you doing anything on the weekend?
Slickreporter: No. Why?
LorikeetGirl: I was just wondering if you'd like to come over for the weekend?
Slickreporter: Why not?

JD grinned as he stared at the screen, pushing some of his bangs out of his eyes and behind his ears.

Well, that's sweet of Mint to invite me to her place. I might as well go over.

LorikeetGirl: YAY!
Slickreporter: LOL
LorikeetGirl: Want to stay over the night?
Slickreporter: Yeah
LorikeetGirl: YAY!
Slickreporter: What's the time at your place?
LorikeetGirl: 11:15pm at night. Why?
Slickreporter: I gotta go soon, okay?
LorikeetGirl: I gotta go now. Talk tomorrow maybe?
Slickreporter: Sure! Why not? Bye! xoxoxoxo hugs

Mint turned off the computer with a sigh, before she went upstairs to her bedroom. Getting changed into her nightie she then climbed into the warm sheets, and after a while, she drifted off into a deep sleep. Mint couldn't wait for JD to come around on the weekend. She was so excited, and she hoped that JD felt exactly the same.
