A/N: This is a random drabble series that's going to be filled with spontaneous ideas that pop into my head and don't go away. It doesn't have a set pairing so every random ship could pop up here, ranging from the normal stuff to maybe even slash and incest or whatever. The only couple that is never going to appear in here is Zuko and Katara, because I already have a Zutara drabble series and I'll put all that stuff in there.

Summary: Toph, for once in her life, feels blind.

Toph never really felt that she was blind. She never needed to really see because her feet were her eyes.

She never felt handicapped because of her lack of sight, and most of the time she could see more than anyone else. Her unique sight was what made her who she was, and she didn't feel that she needed to really see.

She never felt remorse or sadness that there was no vision in her eyes, until the day her daughter ran up to her.

"Mommy, am I beautiful?" she asked with a little gap-toothed smile that Toph couldn't percieve.

That was the first day that Toph truly felt blind.
