Now on with the story...

“Welcome back girls have a nice run?” Cye asked as Brenda and Angel came in the back door which lead into the kitchen.

“We had a great run Cye thanks for asking.” Angel said smiling at him. Cye nodded as he turned back to making breakfast, Brenda went upstairs to the room to take a shower.

“Guys still asleep?” Angel asked Cye.

“Yup, still sound asleep like babies we stayed up late last night eating the sushi you guys made us, then we cleaned the dishes, and then went played video games for two hours, not to mention we watched some movie on TV. After that we all just kind of either went to bed or fell asleep on the couch or chairs.” Cye told her, Angel chuckled.

“Wow, sounds like you guys had a great night then so it is safe to say that the others will be out for awhile then.” Angel said as she sat at the kitchen table.

“Oh yeah they will be asleep for at least another hour or so. Are you hungry Angel?” Cye asked her as he flipped over the bacon.

“I am starving.” Angel said smiling.

Cye turned back to the pancakes that he was making while he watched Angel from the corner of his eye. What was this girl hiding from them? What did she even have to hide? Angel looked at Cye and smiled he smiled back to her and then turned his eyes too look at what he was doing with the food. Cye had the feeling that Angel was reading his thoughts.

Angel got up from the kitchen table and headed upstairs to change before breakfast. After changing into her clothes she walked into the hallway looking both ways to make sure no one was coming she had left her shoes in her room. Angel then walked to Ryo’s door and slowly opened it a crack to see him fast asleep. Angel pulled the door open a little wider and slipped through into his room. Ryo’s room held a desk with some books on top of it, one bed, a night stand with a lamp on top, and two doors one that led to his bathroom and a closet Angel thought.

Angel crossed quietly over to Ryo’s desk and look around trying to find the letter that her mom had sent to him, that had to go. Angel moved some books aside she did not see the pen that was on the edge of the desk. As she pushed the books out of way the pen slipped off the desk and landed on the floor with a loud clack. Angel froze, mentally cursing herself.

She watched Ryo as he turned over in his sleep and mutter under his breath. Angel sighed quietly to herself as she picked the pen up from the floor and put it back on the desk. After looking through the books, desk drawers, and everything else that was on the desk Angel still could not find the letter. Angel then turned to the nightstand she walked over to it making very little noise as she did so. She pulled open the first drawer and there it was the letter sitting on top of a book.

Angel pulled the letter out and folded it and put it in her pocket. As Angel turned to leave she felt someone grabbed onto her hand.

Angel started as she turned to look at Ryo, his eyes were still closed his black hair falling into his eyes. His hand had grabbed onto Angel’s he was, sleep dreaming. Angel grabbed onto his hand trying to pry his fingers lose from her wrist sadly she was not having much luck. It was hard trying to get his hand off her arm without waking him up. His grip was hard on her wrist, and it got even worse as his hand wrapped tighter around her wrist and Angel held back a small scream.

Then something happened that left Angel red for the rest of that day. Ryo pulled her into the bed with him, well more like right next to him. Ryo had then wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into his chest, his bare chest.

Oh crap, oh crap, crap, crap! Angel screamed in her head as her face turned a darker shade of red. Angel looked at Ryo’s face she could not believe that he was still sleeping through all of this; he should have woken up by now. Ryo breathed out cool air that blew onto Angel’s neck and she shivered, she could hear her heart beating faster and faster. This had never happened to her before and it was happing with a guy she barely knew, well knew a little bit. Angel did not love Ryo she saw him as a friend, but that was it nothing more than a friend. Angel had liked someone else.

Angel hung her head and sighed quietly again what would he say if he saw this happening before his eyes. What would he think? It would be far worse if her parents had seen this, but they were miles away so they did not count. But him. He would probably be devastated and hurt if he knew this was happening it would even be worse if he saw it happening. The thing about it was that Angel could not even control it she did not even do anything why was she being punished like this? Here was the best part to the guy was fast asleep and did not even know what was happening.

Come on Ryo please wake up now. Please wake up so that I can get out of here and be on my way. I am kind of hungry. Wow, I sound like Kento now. I am thinking about food in a bad situation. Man, my picked a great group of guys for Brenda and I to stay with. Angel thought as she tried to get free of Ryo’s arms. Angel slowly moved out of his arms pulling his hands off her waist then she moved over to the edge of the bed slowly sitting up, then there was a knock at the door. Angel let a small gasp escape from her mouth.

The knock came again and Angel did the only thing she could she pulled herself off the bed and she climbed under it good thing she had pulled her hair up today.

Angel heard Ryo groan and turn over in his sleep before the knock became more persistent. Ryo groaned once more before getting out of bed and walking over to the door and opening it.

“What is it man, I was sleeping?” Ryo asked Sage, he shook his head at Ryo.

“Yeah you probably were sleeping and I bet you were having a good dream too.” Sage teased Ryo.

“I was actually having a good dream,” Ryo sighed running hands through his hair, “well it was just a dream but oh well.”

Sage gave Ryo a look, “What?” Ryo asked him blinking a few times to get more sleep out of his eyes.

“May I ask what you were dreaming about?” Sage asked as he walked into the room sitting at Ryo’s desk chair.

“Well it was kind of weird because Angel was in my dream.” Ryo said as he opened his closet door looking through his clothes.

Angel shook her head, men and their dreams.

“Angel? You mean our Angel, as in the one who is living with us?” Sage asked Ryo now really interested. Ryo sighed as he turned back to look at Sage.

“I am not going to tell you the rest of the dream if you are going to ask stupid questions like that. Of course I mean the Angel that is living with us. How many people do I know that are named Angel, Sage.”

“I promise man geez, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.” Sage muttered under his breath the last part so that Ryo would not hear him.

“Anyway as I was saying I was sleeping on the couch reading a book and don’t ask me where the book came in,” Ryo pulled on his shirt as Sage covered his mouth to keep from laughing. “Then the next thing I know I was asleep on the couch in my dream and when I woke up,” Ryo paused for a moment then he went on, “Angel was there with me sleeping in my arms on the couch with me.” Angel who was listening underneath the bed accidently, move up so fast that she hit her head on the bottom of the bed. Ouch, ouch, ouch. Why is this happening to me now? Angel thanked Athena that Ryo or Sage had not heard anything because if they did she would be in for it.

Sage could not contain his laughter anymore. Ryo glared at Sage as he walked into his bathroom to brush his teeth and brush out his hair.

Sage finally calmed down enough to say, “Ryo I think you are delusional I don’t think that would ever happen in a million years. Angel is pretty girl I am sure she has someone back home that likes her or maybe she even has a boyfriend back home.”

Thank you Sage for pointing out to me that I still don’t have the guy of my dreams as my boyfriend, men are so not sensitive to women’s feelings. Well then again I am the one trespassing in a guy’s room. Angel thought to herself as she tried not to make a noise, she had to sneeze really badly.

“Sage I did say anything about me liking Angel.” Ryo came back out of the bathroom fully dressed.

“Yes, you did Ryo your dream that you told me about said it all.” Sage laughed at the look on Ryo’s face.

Ryo sighed, “Okay so maybe I like her a little, but you can’t tell her Sage.”

“Don’t worry Ryo I won’t tell her. Because you are going to tell her. ” Sage said smiling as he opened the door.

Ryo followed him, “Thanks Sag… what I am not telling her are you crazy? Sage there is no wa…” Ryo’s voice faded as he walked down the hall.

Angel sighed in relief as she climbed out from under the bed she rubbed the top of her head and then dusted herself off then she walked out of Ryo’s room thinking about what she had just over heard. So Ryo liked her huh? Angel walked into her room to change into some better clothes. Angel smiled to herself this was some new information that was interesting for her especially.

No one had ever liked her before, she was not even sure that he liked her. Angel had this feeling in her stomach though it was a good feeling though to hear that someone liked her at least. Sadly it was the wrong person that she wanted to hear it from. Angel had no problem with Ryo he was a nice guy, sweet, fun to talk to, easy to be around, he even made Angel laugh. But he was not the guy she had eyes for. Angel sat on her bed how was she going to break this to him.

(A.N. The 'he' Angel is thinking about here is Aioria who she has a crush on.)

Angel put her head in her hands as she rested her elbows on her knees. Angle blew a piece of her blond hair out of her face.

Ryo must have been dreaming about me sleeping next to him when I came in and started looking for the letter which would explain why he pulled me down into the bed with him. I still cannot believe that Ryo likes me. What am I going to do? Angel thought as she pulled on her sweater.

“Angel, breakfast is ready!” Kento called through her door, Angel jumped a little she had been so wrapped up in her thoughts that she had forgotten about the time.

“I am coming Kento, I am just finishing getting dressed.” Angel called back to him. Angel finished getting on her sweater she walked over to her door and opened to see Kento leaning against the wall.

“Good morning Kento.” Angel said smiling at him, he smiled back.

“Come on Angel I am hungry and everyone is waiting for you so get downstairs so I can get my food. Cye said that we are not eating without you so let’s go women.” Kento said as he grabbed her hand and pulled her down the stairs.

Angel smiled and shook her head. Kento and his food sometimes.

Angel, Brenda, Sage, Ryo, Rowen, Kento, Anubis, Cale, Dais, and Sekhmet were all sitting around the kitchen table eating breakfast talking about random things. Brenda was talking with Sage about a book she was reading when she noticed Angel’s face was off, Brenda looked at her.

Angel are you alright? Brenda asked her friend in her mind.

I am fine Brenda just thinking about things. Angel said.

Things like what? Brenda asked her.

I will let you later when there are not a lot of people around. Oh by the way Sage is asking you a question about your book. Angel told Brenda.

Brenda looked back up at Sage, “I am sorry Sage I just kind of zoned out sorry about that. What was your question?”

“I was asking whether or not you would recom…” Sage never got to finish his question because there was a knock on the door.

“I will get it.” Rowen said as he got up and walked to the front door, the knock became more persistent.

“I am coming; I’m coming already give me a second.” Rowen called as he opened the front door. Angel and Brenda played with their food on their plates as they heard voices from the front door.

Then Rowen’s voice came again this time it was a little unsteady, “Umm…Angel, Brenda could you come here please someone is here to see you.”

Angel and Brenda looked at each other and then pushed their chairs back and got up.

“Who do you think it is?” Angel asked Brenda.

Brenda shrugged her shoulders, “Don’t know. But who would come to visit us I mean we are not well liked at home.”

Rowen stood with his back against the wall looking at a woman who was sitting on the couch. Brenda and Angel looked at each other as they walked around the couch and stared at the woman sitting there.

“Lady Arya!” Angel and Brenda said together their mouths hanging open.

“Hello Angel, Brenda. How are you? It is so good to see you two again, come here my two little favorite rascals, I miss you guys.” Arya said standing up and smiling. Brenda and Angel looked at each other and smiled before going to Arya and hugging her. Arya hugged them back.

Lady Arya was a pretty woman she was about 5’9’’ in height with maroon colored hair with black tips at the end of her hair, her hair went down to her waist. She also had black colored eyes. Lady Arya was one of the legendary Protectors, the Protector of Gold Saint Gemini Kanon and also his girl friend and one of Brenda’s and Angel’s aunts. Brenda and Angel loved Lady Arya she was cool, sweet, funny, tough, pretty, but you did not want to mess around with her when she was pissed off because she could get really mad she had a temper when she needed too.

“We missed you to Arya. How have you been? When did you get back? How was the mission? Why are you here?” Angel and Brenda asked her so fast that Arya had to laugh. Her laugh to Rowen sounded like a wind chime in a gentle breeze.

“Calm down girls, calm down. One question at a time please.” Arya said smiling at the girls putting her hands up in defense.

Ryo, Sage, Kento, Cye, Anubis, Cale, Dais, and Sekhmet who had heard the noise walked into the room staring at Arya.

“Who is the babe?” Cale asked as he walked up to touch Arya’s shoulder. Arya grabbed Cale’s hand off her shoulder and threw him on the ground and the house shook. Angel and Brenda looked at each other and started to giggle. Their aunt had not changed at all she was still the same old Lady Arya who kicked butt.

“Call me that again I dare you.” Arya glared down at Cale on the floor. He stared at her with wide eyes.

“Good then we are on the same page then.” Arya smiled showing her white teeth. Cale nodded as Ryo helped him off the floor. His eyes kept going to Arya she just smiled.

“Guys this is one of our Aunts, Lady Arya of Gemini. Arya meet Cale, Dais, Sekhmet, Anubis, Kento, Ryo, Sage, Cye, and Rowen.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you boys.” Arya told them.

“It is nice to meet you to Lady Arya.” Ryo said as he shook hands with her. Angel could tell Ryo was a little afraid of being near her. Arya was a pretty women she was young too and powerful. Arya could do more than just throw people on the floor.

“I am sorry about throwing you on the floor Cale, I just don’t like to be called names like that by anyone but my husband. And if he found out that you called me that. Well let’s just say you would not be alive for much longer.” Arya said. Brenda saw Cale shiver a little bit, she smiled to herself. Uncle Kanon was super overprotective of Arya because of something that had happened before Angel and Brenda were born. The girls of course never found out what it was even though they had asked their parents a thousand times to tell them about it. But of course their parents lips remained closed about that subject.

“Lady Arya may we ask what you are doing here?” Sage asked as he walked up to stand next to Ryo.

“Like I told your friend Rowen I was just here to visit the girls. Check in on them things like that.” Arya said as she nodded to Rowen he nodded back.

“I see, of course you can do that.” Ryo said as he looked at Angel and Brenda and smiled at the girls.

“Mrs. Arya is there anything I can get you? Something to eat or drink?” Cye asked her.

“Just coffee please, thank you very much.” Arya said smiling at Cye, he nodded and turned to go back into the kitchen.

“Come on guys let’s go outside give the girls sometime by themselves.” Ryo told his friends as he they made their way outside through the front door.

Angel and Brenda sat down on two chairs and Arya sat on the couch she smiled at the girls. “Alright now time to answer your questions. What is your first one?”

“ How have you been? When did you get back?” Angel asked her.

“I am good you two, very tired and sore but you know that is the life of a Protector. Being tired and sore is all part of the job. Other than that though I am good and I got back about 2 days ago to Greece. Alright next question?” Arya asked the girls.

Brenda and Angel looked at each other and shook their heads. “Okay what was the miss…” Brenda trailed off as Cye walked into the living room carrying a cup of coffee on a sawyer.

“Hey are you Mrs. Arya.” Cye said as he sat the coffee on the table in front of her.

“Thank you Cye.” Arya said as she picked it up and took a sip.

“If there is anything else you need I will be in the kitchen.” Cye turned starting to walk towards the kitchen again.

“No you won’t be in the kitchen you will be outside with everyone else. Arya likes her privacy and so do I.” Brenda said as she grabbed him by the shoulders and pushed him back towards the front door opening it and pushing him through. Cye’s protests were cut short as Brenda slammed the door in his face then she locked it.

“Well back to are question. How was the mission Arya?” Brenda asked her.

“Umm…yes the mission went well,” Arya blinked at Brenda a few times she had never seen her act like that before well around her parents she had, “I was looking in on a few prisoners for Pope Shion.”

“Prisoners?” Angel asked Arya.

“Yeah I can’t really say anything it is suppose to be under wraps. Oh that is good coffee.” Arya told the girls taking another sip of coffee.

“Oh yeah you girls can’t know anything because we are too young.” Brenda said in a mock tone of her mother.

Angel fell back on the couch laughing, “That sounds just like your mom, Brenda.”

Arya shook her head at Brenda, “Brenda, sweetheart your mom is not all that bad. I have been working with her for a long time. She has a tendency to make rash decisions sometimes but Katie has her moments.”

Brenda gave Arya a look that said ‘yeah right Arya.’

“Anyway Arya what are you doing here? I mean we thought you would be with Kanon. The two of you are like a match made in heaven.” Angel asked her she had stopped laughing.

Arya chuckled thinking about her husband, “I saw Kanon when I got back. He can live without me for a few more hours. I heard from Mary that you guys were staying here with these boys and she asked me to check on you.”

“Check on us? What does she think we are going to do?” Brenda asked Arya as she leaned against a wall looking out the window at the boys, who were talking about something.

“She doesn’t think you are going to do anything. Mary is just worried about you, we all are.” Arya told Angel and Brenda.

“We as in you mean every one of the Protectors and Saints besides are moms.” Angel looked down at her hands which were gripping her jeans.

“Angel, Brenda your mother’s care for you deeply it is just that…” Arya started to say.

“JUST LIKE WHAT LADY ARYA!? I HAVE SEEN AND HEARD WHAT MY MOTHER HAS SAID AND DONE TO ME! I KNOW SHE DOES NOT CARE FOR ME SHE THINKS I AM A FREAK OF NATURE!” Brenda yelled at Arya. Angel looked from Arya to Brenda and started to stand up this was not going to be good.

Arya stood up from her seat so fast that the coffee cup she was holding fell from the table and smashed into pieces the brown liquid pouring out over the carpet.

“Brenda do not challenge me you know that would be a mistake I am stronger and more experienced than you are. You know that, stand down Brenda.” Arya hissed at Brenda. Angel took a step forward she could feel the tension in the air there was so much of it that you could cut it with a knife. She could also feel both Brenda’s and Arya’s cosmos challenging each other from across the room.

Angel knew that Brenda did not stand a chance against Arya in a fight, Arya was the younger sister of legendary Protector Lady Elpis who along with legendary Protector Lady Valkyrie – nicknamed the Queen of Ice defeated Odeila. Angel and Brenda had heard many stories about the fights from their fathers, Dohko, Pope Shion, Mu, and Rose about the fight. Of course the girls had never gotten the chance to meet the Protectors who had taken out Odeila. Lady Valkyrie and Lady Elpis in fact had not been heard from for about 8 months. They would send letters from time to time to Mary, Dohko, Pope Shion, Rose, Mu, and Angel’s and Brenda’s mothers but they would never say where they were.

Arya’s powers were stronger than Brenda’s even she knew that. Angel stepped between them, “Stop it the both of you this is stupid you are acting like children. Brenda you know better than to challenge a Gold Protector.”

Brenda glared at Angel, “Move Angel.”

“No Brenda! Now that is enough.” Angel glared back at her with the same look. Brenda looked away from Angel and the tension in the room seemed to lessen.

Angel turned to Arya, “Mrs. Arya please sit down again and I will get you some more coffee as soon as I can clean up this mess.” Angel looked down at the carpet and rubbed her temples that coffee was going to leave a mark, Cye was not going to be happy about that.

“No you don’t have to Angel, its fine I am not saying here I was only supposed to stop in and check on you. Talk to you a little but that is about it. I have to get going back to Sanctuary, Kanon is waiting for me and I have to give my report on you guys to Mary.” Arya said as she crossed her arms over her chest she was still looking at Brenda.

Angel nodded, “Alright then thanks for stopping by Mrs. Arya. Tell everyone that we say hi and we miss them.” Angel hugged Arya and she hugged Angel back.

Arya ruffled Angel’s hair smiling down at her. “Here Angel this is from your father he asked me to give it to you.” Arya handed Angel a letter. Angel’s smile grew bigger as she looked down at the letter written in her father’s hand.

“Thanks Mrs. Arya tell him I said thank you.” Angel turned and walked into the kitchen to get a rag to start cleaning up the coffee mess.

Arya then glanced at Brenda and walked up to her, “Nice seeing you again Brenda I have a letter from your father as well. Do you want it?”

Brenda looked at the letter in Arya’s hands then she looked back up at Arya and nodded. Brenda took the letter from her, “Thanks Lady Arya, sorry about you know yelling at you.”

Arya put her hands up, “It’s okay Brenda I understand how you are feeling, don’t worry about it. Just learn to control that temper of yours.” Brenda rubbed the back of her head and shrugged.

“What can I say it is in the blood.” Brenda grinned up at Arya. She leaned over and hugged Brenda who hugged her back. Arya was just about to open the front door to leave when Brenda spoke up.

“Arya, wait,” Brenda called.

Arya turned back to her, “Yes Brenda. What is it?”

“Tell my father I said thanks for the letter.”

Arya nodded her head as she opened the door, “Sure I can do that. Be good girls while I am gone. I might just stop by again.” Arya walked out and having a few words with the Ronin Warriors and the Warlords she left.

Angel was cleaning the carpet by the time the boys came in.

“What happened?” Ryo asked Angel as he knelt down next to her.

“Oh nothing it was just an accident that is all nothing to worry about.” Angel said looking at him. As she looked at his face the memory of what happened that morning became fresh in her mind. Angel turned bright red without meaning to.

“Angel are you okay your face is all red?” Ryo asked as he touched her forehead checking to see if she had a fever.

“I am,” Angel touched her face, “I’m am fine Ryo really my face dose that all the time don’t worry about it.”

“Are you sure Angel?” Ryo tried again.

Angel nodded as she finished cleaning the carpet most of the stain was gone and Angel had already picked up the broken glass and thrown it away.

“Alright then.” Ryo helped her up and took the dirty towel from her and went to go throw it into the washer. Angel watched him go, Angel then walked out the front door. She needed some time to be alone and think, plus she wanted to read the letter her father had written her.

Brenda had already disappeared up the stairs and into the room to read her letter. Angel rubbed the back of her neck and sighed she hoped Brenda was going to be okay that fight between her and Lady Arya was still fresh in Angel’s mind.

Brenda why can’t you just control that temper of yours. Angel thought to herself. Angel stopped and looked around she had walked into the forest it was perfect, the quietest place for her to read, think, and to just be by herself for a while. She was also far enough into the forest so that no one would know where she was. Angel sat down underneath a tree and looked at the letter in her hands. The Angel opened it and pulled about 3 sheets of paper all written in her father’s hand. Angel smiled as she started to read.

Dear Angel,

I am just writing to check how things are going down there with the Ronin Warriors. I hope that you are being a good little girl. I also wanted to say I am sorry that your mother and I did not tell you about going to live with the Ronin Warriors, we are…that is to say I am very sorry. Your mother thought that it would be best not to tell you. I of course thought it would be better to tell you so that could have had more time to get ready and prepare for it.

But you know your mother she has pretty much control over me. How is Brenda doing? Sorry I am being so random Angel it is just that I miss you and without you and Brenda here things are so much different it is weirder and it is almost like something is missing from Sanctuary. Anyway the randomness aside Arya came back a few days ago from her mission as you know. Kanon was jumping up and down when she walked into the temple.

Sadly I know this for a fact because I was with him…and you can probably guess what they did. Kanon just kind of grabbed Arya and started to kiss her right in front of me. I swear those two are going to be the next ones to have a kid, I finally got so tired of them kissing that I had to leave before I threw-up everywhere. Mary stopped in to talk to me a few days ago as well. She and Dohko wanted to know how you and Brenda were doing, she also said that she was going to have Arya come by and see you guys.

I have to run now Angel, your mother and I have dinner with Pope Shion, Lady Adela, Mary, and Dohko tonight. How fun, I miss you sweetheart and I love you, I hope to hear from you soon. By the way I hope that you are keeping up with your training because when you come back I want to have a match with you and see how in shape you are. Remember I love you Angel you are my daughter.

Angel looked up from the letter and rubbed the tear drops that had started to fall from her eyes without her knowing it. Angel smiled as she put the letter away she loved her dad sure he could be harsh and strict sometimes but that was how all fathers were. Angel pulled her knees up and rested her chin on them she missed Sanctuary too and she was sure that Brenda did as well. Angel was finally feeling the effects of being home sick. Seeing Lady Arya and getting a letter from her dad had finally gotten to her.

Angel just let her tears fall out of her eyes as she buried her head into her knees. Angel of course had some laughing in there because of her father’s bad attempt at humor he had never been that good at making jokes that had always been Angel’s line of work. Angel sighed as she looked up and rubbed the tears from her eyes again, she should be heading back to the house. She needed to talk to Brenda about this love triangle that she was having. Angel also knew that the guys would start worrying if she did not get back soon.

Maybe I will make some tea when I get back to the house that might make me feel better. Dad always loved tea and he did drink a lot of it. Dad and his herbal tea that always made me feel better. Angel thought as she started to walk out of the woods. As she was walking Angel thought that she heard footsteps behind her, steps that were matching her own.

Angel froze in her place when she stopped so did the footsteps. Maybe it was just her imagination. Angel continued to walk, then she heard it again the footsteps moving in time with her feet.

Crunch, crunch, crunch

Went the leaves under Angel’s feet as she stepped on them. The person following her did the same thing. Angel stopped again and this time the feet were still moving. Angel started to run she was freaking out someone or something was following her she was running so fast that she would not even be able to be seen by a normal human being. The person or thing following her started to run after her but he or she was not as fast as Angel was.

Angel finally made it to the edge of the woods she could see the house, just a little father and she would be out of the woods and came to a stop on the front step. She was breathing hard and out of breath. Angel did not want to look behind her for fear that the thing or person was standing there. Angel slowly turned around to look at the forest and standing at its edge was a shadow that looked to be a human but Angel could not tell.

It’s red eyes stared back at her as it took another step towards the house and out of the woods. Angel did not need to see any more she tore up the front steps pulled open the front door and slammed it closed behind her locking it.

Angel slid down the front door and onto the floor looking up at the ceiling.

“Hey Angel are you okay?” came Ryo’s voice.
