A/N: I LOVE KakaxRin and RinxObito stories so I wanted to make one up myself! I hope you like it! Please review! Rated T for blood, language, and violence. Also some kissing and non-explained scenes that screw with your head to make you draw conclusions. Enjoy!

You are my friend

Chapter 1

So much for rules and regulations

“Kakashi-kuuuuun!” A voice could be heard in the distance. “Kakashi-kuuuuun! Kakashi-kuuuuuun!” Kakashi didn’t even turn his head to look at her. “KAKASHI-KUUUUUUN!” The voice got nearer and nearer until Kakashi could feel her breathe down his neck.

“R-Rin! Get your hands off my shoulders! Shinobi regulation law number 4,467,110,245! Personal space unless healing, on a mission, or if necessary!” Kakashi scorned toward her.

“But, Kakashi-kun! It is necessary!” She whined. He didn’t take her seriously, so he shoved her off his shoulder and whispered, “Piss off.” Rin stared at his back in confusement.

Kaki narase sonzai wo
Koko ni iru to...”
She sang out in a low tone to him.

“H-how do you know that song!?” He yelled. “Have you been spying?! ANSWER ME RIN! That’s basic Shinobi rule num-“ he was cut off by a wisp of a leaf blown by the wind in Rin’s mouth on his nose. “W-what’s this?” Rin frowned at that word. Kakashi read it aloud:

My dearest Rin:

My sincerest apologies for what you are going through. With my pneumonia level this high, I’ll never make it. So, I’ve written a piece of a song for you:

Kaki narase sonzai wo
Koko ni iru to...” I’m sorry…That’s all I can excerpt. I’m just about to die. I’ll die within 30 seconds due to my brain trauma. I just need to tell you this. You did have a-

“He passed away as he was writing?” Kakashi asked in a soft voice.

Rin shook her head and said: “Mm-mm. He wrote all of it, it’s just…see that crack in the leaf at the bottom?”

“Yeah, what of it?” He asked.

“Well, when the nurse gave it to me, it was ripped. Half of it must have been blown out too my mother. I will find her, Kakashi! I will!” Rin shook her head and salty drops of water soaked Kakashi.

“Hn. Get over it! My dad died because he committed suicide!! Your dad died of an accident and a cold. At least your dad-“

“That’s enough, Kakashi!” A blonde haired wound about, snapped a string around a tree with Kakashi tied with it, and dropped off of the tree. “I’ll leave you here until you can apologize to Rin for your unnecessary scornfulness.”

“Hn. Then I’ll be here all year!” He crossed at his sensei.

“Fine. Be that way.” His sensei stared him in the eyes. What happened to the Kakashi I used to know? Since your dad died, you’ve always been so…down hill.

(Play grief and sorrow. Totally different from sadness and sorrow. You’re gonna need it. It goes with the flashback.)

Flashback

Daddy! Daddy! Look at what I can do!”

Son, I was waiting for the day you could control your chakra…Now you finally can! I’m so proud!” He hugged his son until dawn came upon them.

1 year later

You betray the mission!” Someone shouted.

Go to hell!”

You don’t belong here!”

Traitor!”

Sakon, look away!” (Yes, in this Sakon is Konoha as is the whole crew: Tayuya, Tubby man, and spider dude.)

Tayuya! No, baby! Don’t touch the traitor’s boy! He’ll put his father’s betrayal on you and the next person you touch will make it spread!

But, mommy! You must be mistaken! This boy’s nice!”

Come Tayuya!”

No!”

That’s it! You are grounded young lady! Now come here!”

She frowned. Tears started to roll in her eyes. “Bye-bye Kakashi. My mama doesn’t like your daddy. I dunno why.” The mother of the child gave the boy a disgusted look and Kakashi threw some of the sand from the sand box in his eyes so he wouldn’t have to look at her anymore.

End of Flashback

“Dad… How did…No, why did you die?”
