Disclaimer: This means that I’m telling you I don’t own anybody in this story. That is minus Rachel Frost and her children.
It hadn't started off so well when first they found out that Rachel had been moved to ECW and the only people allowed backstage were people associated with RAW. That meant they'd lost an ally. Then Jonathon Coachman had put a bounty on their heads to get them out of the arena. Sure it was ten thousand dollars but that didn't stop about a dozen superstars from trying to cash the bounty in. First a handicap match against Cade, Murdoch, Charlie Haas and Viscera, then Eugene tried to attack them, and the Spirit Squad and then Chris Masters tried to attack them... IN THE BATHROOM. Hunter and Shawn just eventually left, stealing the bounty in the process.
They didn't stay out of the arena long, finding scalpers- Cryme Tyme- they made their way back into the arena. Hunter had bought a large salami from a deli and during Mickie vs. Lita teased Lita with it. Mickie ended up using the salami to get herself a win during the match.
"Why did you buy that salami?" Shawn asked.
Hunter shrugged as the walked down the street towards what appeared to be a nice quiet pub. "I guess I've just always wanted to say that I've had my meat in Lita's face."
Shawn rolled his eyes. "Cute." There were only a few people in there but it looked like they'd just finished an evening rush as glasses were all over the place. "You wanna sit at the bar or at a table?'
"I don't care." They took a seat at a table near a television. Shawn had ordered himself a water and Hunter had ordered herself a beer. It was to be the first of many that night. Hunter took a huge gulp of her beer as soon it was sat down in front of her.
Shawn noted that her mood had suddenly changed. The smile was gone from her face and she seemed to be in deep thought as she took two more huge gulps of her beer. "Hunter?"
She looked up seeming to be snapped out of a trance. "Yeah."
Shawn knew that this was a good time to start talking to Hunter. She'd been avoiding talking about anything for the past few days thought she'd been acting like nothing was wrong and everything was normal. "You know we should talk."
"About what?" Hunter stopped a waitress. "Hey can I get another one of these? Thanks."
Shawn drummed his fingers nervously on the table. He didn't want Hunter to get pissed off, that could cause her to shut herself up even more. "About what happened last week."
"I don't want to talk about it here in public."
"Then finish that up and I'll buy you twelve pack or however it comes over here."
"I don't want to talk it... period." Hunter looked down at her beer. "If I don't think about it, I feel much better." They were silent for a few minutes while the waitress brought Hunter another beer. She immediately ordered another one and finished her first beer before starting on the second one.
"Is it because they were talking about... about..." Shawn couldn't get the words out. He could barely bring himself to say it. He leaned forward and looked Hunter right in the eye. "Is it because they were talkin' about raping-"
"That's enough." Hunter blurted out. "I said I don't wanna talk about it. So let's not."
"Fine. I'm sorry." Shawn knew that had hit a nerve with her.
After three more beers, Hunter's mood seemed to change again. "Ya know what?"
Shawn seemed to be in awe of the sudden mood swings Hunter had been going through the past hour. "What?"
Hunter downed the last of her fifth beer and wiped her mouth. "What you did ta Edge... Was an improvement."
"I wanted to make sure there was something on the roster to gawk at since I was back to normal." Shawn watched as Hunter ordered another drink. "I guess I'm driving back to the hotel."
"You guessed right." Hunter winked at him. The drunker she got the more her mood changed. She'd gone from being silly to being quiet and withdrawn to being angry at the world to her final mood which seemed to be content.
Shawn took care of the tab and helped Hunter out to the car. The night was chilly and he slung her coat around her shoulders. Hunter responded by almost cuddling up next to him which made Shawn feel a bit uncomfortable.
A group of young women passed them by. One of them said, "oh how sweet is that?"
Another one agreed with her. "That's so cute."
This prompted Shawn to push Hunter away slightly as they walked to the arena parking lot. He helped her into the passengers seat of their rental car and buckled her up. Hunter seemed to pass out as soon he shut the car door. Shawn drove towards the hotel, stopping at a red light he looked over at Hunter as she slept. It didn't look like Triple H in that passenger seat, it just looked like a beautiful woman to him. He smiled and then cringed. "Stop it Shawn. That's your best friend." The ride back to the hotel took only ten minutes, but to Shawn it seemed like forever.
When they parked, Shawn got out and opened Hunter's door. He shook her gently. "Come on, we're here." Hunter only moaned and so Shawn unbuckled her seat belt and picked her up out of the car. That's when the size difference finally hit Shawn. Hunter had to have dropped at a hundred pounds of weight at least, and hell it was obvious that Hunter was probably about 5'6" now, that was ten inches off the height. Granted, Hunter was definitely more muscular than the Diva's, but she still had some curves to her.
Shawn shook his head to keep himself from staring at Hunter. He carried her up to their room and laid her down on the bed. He took off his sweatshirt and skullcap and made his way towards the bathroom. He was about to shut the door when Hunter burst in with her hand over mouth. She leaned in front of the toilet and proceed to throw up a little bit. Her hair was in her face as she gagged and coughed a little bit. Shawn got behind her and gently pulled her hair back and held it as another round of vomiting commenced.
Hunter sat there in front of the toilet for a minute. A little more vomit came up, Shawn still held her hair for her and she finished with a few dry heaves. Then she fell back a little bit, breathing heavily, eyes heavy. Shawn leaned down to check on her and found tears streaming down her face. "Hunt?" She didn't say anything, just stared at him, she leaned forward and grabbed him around the waist and clung to him for dear life. Shawn could feel that she was trembling. That wasn't a good sign. He got up and wet down a rag and began to wipe the remnants of vomit off of Hunter's face, it was all down her shirt so he pulled it off revealing a black sports bra underneath.
"Hunter, I need you to get up." Shawn did his best to get her to her feet. "Come on, let's get ya to bed." He put her arm around his shoulders and helped to the bed, he was practically carrying her. He held her up with one arm as he pulled the covers back. She mumbled something under her breath and snuggled into him a little bit. "Okay, down ya go." Though Hunter struggled against him a little bit, Shawn finally got her laying down on the bed and covered her up with the blanket. He turned the light next to the bed off and went back into the bathroom.
Shawn quickly cleaned up the disgusting mess and decided to take a quick shower before going to bed. He should've showered after that handicap match, he noticed a sweaty smell about him and was thankful to get himself clean. He got out of the shower and dressed in his pajamas before settling into his bed and going to sleep.
The night would hold some interesting dreams for both Shawn and Hunter.
Shawn sensed an evil presence about him. He looked to his left and saw Hunter- the male Hunter standing next to him. They both looked at each other nervously and out into the pitch black darkness.
Hunter was the first to speak. "Shawn, do you feel that?"
Shawn nodded. "Yeah, somethin' ain't right." Just then something metal clamped down on his ankle and started pulling him down. Next thing he knew he was free falling through the black space.
Shawn awoke before hit the bottom, his heart was about ready to burst through his chest. He shook his head and looked at the clock. It was three in the morning. He got up from his bed and did his best to make his way through the dark room towards the bathroom. He cringed at the blinding light for a minute before his eyes adjusted. He splashed some cold water on his face and got a quick drink before heading back to bed. On the way he heard some mumbling coming from Hunter's bed, then some painful moaning.
"No..." Hunter was obviously having a nightmare.
Shawn turned on the light and saw that she was thrashing around in the bed quite violently. He had to wake her up. He climbed onto the bed and grabbed Hunter's wrists as her arms flailed around. "Hunt... Wake up."
"Let go of me!" She sat up and tried to fight out of his grasp. "Please don't hurt me."
Shawn gently shook her a few times. "Hunter, it's me. It's Shawn. Wake up."
Hunter's eyes fluttered open and she stopped struggling. "Shawn... I-" She slipped away from him and ran into the bathroom.
Shawn hurried after her as she kneeled in front of the toilet. He watched her as she stared at the toilet holding her stomach. Her chin went to her chest and she started to fall forward. He caught her before she cracked her face on the toilet bowl. She was passed out again. "Hunter? Hunter?" He shook her a few times and she just moaned at him. "Jeeze." Once again, he put her to bed and go into the other bed and went to sleep.
