Shadowclan had been scented on out territory, and a scent I thought of as familiar. Bluestar had ordered us to be prepared for a battle, so we were in a group, awaiting the enemy by the thunderpath. In the front, with the elite warriors, was a cat I found familiar, although I could not place ever seeing it before at a gathering. As the approached, I recognized the face, and grew worried that our friendship would cost us the battle.
