Sunglasses Versus Hats

Summary: Ichigo noticed that desptie their protests, Renji and Takenouchi were alot more alike then they thought. Plus, they both had horrible fashion sense.

"I can't take you seriously in that thing."

Kadiri Takenouchi pouted her bottom lip out and grabbed the brim of her blue cat-ear hat, tugging it down slightly as she narrowed her eyes at Ichigo Kurosaki.

"You never take me seriously anyways, so what's the difference?" She retorted. Ichigo shook his head.

"Atleast take it off when you're where people can see you!"

"No way! This is my favorite hat!" Takenouchi protested.

"It makes you look like an idiot!"

"See if I care!" She cackled, running off. In retrospect, Ichigo decided, losing the hat wouldn't help the shinigami girl's case any. He vaguely wondered if Takenouchi had dressed herself in the dark. Judging by the lime green knee-high boots, blue and navy striped thigh-socks, open balck zip-up hoodie, red shirt, and green cargo short-shorts, she probably had.

Or worse. Maybe Rukia had helped her. Ichigo shuddered at the thought, before chasing after the brunette.

"Kadiri-san! Get your ass back here!"

"Wee! Kurosaki-kun! I'm a like freakin ninja! Look!"

Ichigo stared in horror at Takenouchi, who was now balancing precariously on a lamppost. If it had been any other shinigami, he probably wouldn't have worried. But this was Kadiri Takenouchi, Vice-Captain of the 5th Division of the Soul Society. The girl was pretty good with her zanpakuto, Hikari, but had horrible balance, as she had proved many times since Ichigo had met her. The only person more unccoordinated was Hanatarou.

"Kadiri-san! Get down from there, you ahou!" Ichigo yelled. The girl began jumping up an down, waving her arms.

"Waah! Kurosaki-san! Look! I can see your house from here!" She yelled. "Ohayo, Karin-chan! Ohayo, Yuzu-chan!"

"Be careful! You're gonna hurt yourself!"

"Waagh!"

With a crash, Takenouchi hit the ground.

"Owie."

"Told'ya."
