In another life, at another time, Naruto would be the solution. There would be no need and no pain and no story eaten away by their cherished poisons.

In another life, he would take the dark from Sasuke and the love from Sakura, ripping the seams. They may bleed because it would be too quick and too Naruto, but in the end he would be worst off; while they healed he would smother their toxins with his own shapeless light. And when everything most dear and destructive to them was gone, all that would be left is Sakura, and Sasuke, and the boy without a shadow.
