A/N: Um, i had alreayd made a first chap for this story..but im changing it...here. And, if your going to read, then atleast review. That would be much appretiated. Anyway, i had already started this story, but i decided it was stupid how i was going about it, so i'm changing it. Later, if you think how im going about it is still stupid, tell me, i will change it! Anyway, ya, it's a two part story, like, 2 different parts with 2 totally different ideas, im just mushing them together. Enjoy.

Part One
Chapter One

We Shall See

She moved slowly, her long black hair moved with her body as though it was a part of it. It quivered as though it was liquid. Snake-like creatures swimmed in the air beside her as though it was water. The wind moved through the forest, it's chilling howl reached her ears, as though beckoning her. The moon was full and beautiful, the darkness not stopping her from destination, even though she had no clue where that was. Her pale skin reflected the moons rays, her deep brown eyes were cold. Cold and dead.

Kikyo moved on, unfazed by the darkness, glaring at her with unseen eyes. Something reached her, she sensed it immediately.

"I did not think it was possible." She said, her deep and melodic voice penetrating the night, "I thought wrong. It would seem as though someone from there is reaching us."

She stopped moving.

Absentmindedly, Kikyo stroked one of her soul stealers as it entwined itself around her waste. She sighed, her emotionless eyes looking to the sky, looking at the glittering stars. Kikyo's heart twisted, at least it would of. But, technically, she did not have a real heart, therefore it could not twist.

"I suppose one of us will have to do something." the woman murmured, "But, I will be patient and wait. I must be, for, I cannot be completely sure. We will see."

Her thin lips turned into a wry smirk.

"What an intersting way the God's have decided to play life out..."

OOO

"It's summer break! Da-da-da-da! It's summer break! Da-da-da-da! La-la-la!" The sixteen-year-old girls singing turned to a chant, "I-passed-my-exams! I-am-the-best! I-am-the-victor! Of-me-agaisnt-math! Haha! In your face math! You can die for all I care!"

Kagome moved aound her room happily. She had passed, passed the school year, passed all her classes. Her okaasan was impressed.

She resumed her chant.

"I-am-the-"

"Who in the world are you talking to?"

"Huh?"

Kagome whirled around, black hair flying and eyes flashing with anger.

"Inuyasha!" she yelled, seeing the hanyou kneeling on her window sill, "Who let you in?!"

"I let myself in." Inuyasha replied with a smirk, "Who else?"

"Ahhh!" Kagome reached for a pillow and threw it at his face.

Catching it, almost boredly, Inuyasha hucked it back at her, hitting Kagome flat in the her own face. Her right eye twitched.

"I didn't say you could come in her!" she screamed, "Sit!"

Inuyasha goraned, as his prayer beads yanked him off the window sill and caused his face to kiss the dirt.

Blushing furiousely and being caught doing her little happy dance, Kagome grabbed her back-pack, threw it over her shoulder, and angrily stormed down stairs.

"Let's go!" she huffed to the hanyou sitting agaisnt the wall of the house, rubbing his cheek.

Her mood lightened as she realized it was a gorgeous day, the sun was shining, she had no more school for another two months, and-

"Seriousely..who were you talking to?"

"Sit."

Now, where was she? The sun was shining...it was no use. Kagome had lost her vibe.

"Hurry up Inuyasha!" she called to him over her shoulder.

Inuyasha quickly stood and strode to catch up with her.

"It's the last day of school," she told him once he was walking at her side, "That means no more school for two entire months."

"Good," Inuyasha replied with a snort, "That school is a waste of time anyways."

"No it's not!" Kagome countered, opening the door ot the well-house, "It's challenges us, and I need to get good marks to get into college."

Another snort.

Inuyahsa wrapped his arm around her shoulders as they jumped into the well, surprising a slight blush from her.

"You don't need no fuckin' education." he muttered, as the blue light surrounded them.

"Yes I do!" Kagome retorted, as her feet hit solid ground on the other side, "I need to have some kind of future Inuyasha, if I don't get a good education, then I don't get a good job. I'll have no money and freeze to death on the streets!"

Kagome said the last statement in a joking manner, but it was partly true. She would be poor, and have to work at some fast-food restaraunt for the rest of her life. The thought made her almost laugh, in a bitter kind of way.

"Stupid, when I"m around, you don't have to worry about that kind of shit!" Inuyasha replied, he leapt out of the well, taking Kagome with him.

Kagome almost laughed again, when she realized this kind of routine had become natural to her, so natural she didn't even really think about it.

"Wait, hold up!" she said quickly as they began to walk to Kaede's hut, "What did you say?"

"Are you hard of hearing?" Inuyahsa asked her without even looking, "When I'm around you won't have to worry about it."

Kagome stopped short. Wasn't that sort of like a promise? But he said as long as he's around...well, that wouldn't be much longer.

Kagome fingered the jewel that finally lay around her neck.

One more shard...and Inuyasha would probably leave...with...Kikyo.

Kagome wans't going to get in his way, no matter how much she loved him. Sighing, she ran away from Inuyasha and strode into Kaede's hut.

"Kagome!" Shippo leapt into Kagome's arms.

"Hey Shippo." Kagome said, setting him down.

"Hey Kagome." Miroku and Sango said in union.

Kagome smiled and nodded, then greeted Kaede who was sitting queitly in the corner, staring off into the fire. She seemed distant.

"Is something wrong Kaede?" Kagome asked.

Slowly, Kaede turned to look at her.

"Does ye, being a miko, not feel it?" the old woman whispered.

Inuyasha, who had just walked into the hut, and everyone else, stared at her strangely.

"What do you mean, Kaede?" Kagome asked, looking around the room, "I don't feel anything."

Kagome's stomach rumbled.

"Except hungry!" she laughed, "Does that count?"

Kaede shook her head, "Never mind child, here, have some stew."

Kagome took the offered bowl, and began eating it gratefully.

Kaede, handed everyone else something to eat, and then resumed staring into the fire, watching it dance with complex movement.

Perhaps I am wrong...the old woman thought, Perhaps I am simply getting old. Is that what I'm feeling? But...It really is queit impossible for this to have happened...My sister would be feeling it to by now, even if she is dead. But, Kagome isn't feeling anything. I shall be patient, we shall see what happens. We shall see...

OOOOOO

A/N: You probably have no idea what i'm talking about.
(grins evily) You'll have to wait. It may take a few chappies for it to kick in, ya know! And, if you bothered to read my story, you could atleast be nice and review!
