(Phantom: Well, it’s come to this. I’m starting a Hunchback of Notre Dame parody… never thought I would. I’d like to take this time to thank Wormtail96 for making me wanna rewatch Hunchback, which is why I’m doing this parody. –nods-
So, I’ve got a pretty interesting cast picked out for the fic, so I hope you guys like it. Anyway, here’s the prologue. Hope you guys like the fic. XD)
Prologue: Who’s the true freak?
Stitch Phantom productions presents…
The story begins, and we see an old looking church. It is the church known as Hawaii Dame, a well known and participated place of Hawaii. A small bird is seen flying through the town, and a pair of voices can be heard singing.
Unknown voices: Morning in Hawaii, the city awakes
To the bells of Hawaii Dame.
The Pokemon trainers fish, the bakerman bakes
To the bells of Hawaii Dame
The camera then zooms in to a bakery, where a young man named Linguine and a rat named Remy are seen coming out of the bakery with some loaves of bread. As Linguine and Remy set the loaves down in a basket on a table with some other loaves of bread outside the bakery, we see a boy named Richie and a Pikachu named Sparky on the other side of the bridge not far from where Linguine and Remy where, and the two of them, Richie and Sparky anyway, were fishing.
To the big bells as loud as the thunder,
To the little bells soft as a psalm,
And some say the soul of the city's
The toll of the bells
The bells of Hawaii Dame
We then come to a wagon of some kind, where a boy named Ash and his Pokemon, Pikachu, Turtwig, Staravia, Aipom and Chimchar, and Ash’s friends, Dawn, May, Max and Brock, are watching a show of some kind. Inside the wagon are a man and a woman.
The man had short, scruffy brown hair and blue eyes and was wearing a long sleeved brown shirt, blue pants and black shoes. He was called Remus J. Lupin.
The woman had a pale heart-shaped face, dark twinkling eyes, and short spiky hair that was a violent shade of violet. She was wearing a black robe of some kind, white-ish blue colored pants and black boots. She was called Nyphadora Tonks.
The two were performing for Ash, Dawn, Brock and May’s Pokemon with puppet versions of themselves. The other Pokemon were Brock’s Happiny, Sudowudo and Croagunk, May’s Eevee, Squirtle, Blaziken, Skitty, Munchlax and Beautifly, and Dawn’s Buneary, Piplup, Buizel and Pachirisu.
“Listen, those bell chimes are beautiful, no? So many colors of sound, so many changing moods.” Tonks said with a smile as she pointed toward Hawaii Dame. Chimchar, Pikachu, Turtwig, Piplup, Pachirisu, Buizel, Buneary, Beautifly, Munchlax, Skitty, Blaziken, Squirtle, Eevee, Happiny, Sudowudo and Staravia nodded in response, while Croagunk just sat where he was, apparently having no opinion on the matter. Ash, May, Max, Brock and Dawn also nodded in response to the question, and finally, Tonks spoke again. “You know, those bells don’t ring by themselves.” Lupin pointed out.
“They don’t?” Tonks’ puppet and Lupin’s puppet asked together. “Of course not, you silly things! For you see, up there, high up in the bell tower of Hawaii Dame itself lives a mysterious bell ringer, so mysterious that some say you can’t see him/her.” Tonks explained. “Who is this creature?” Tonks asked before turning to Ash, May, Max, Dawn, Brock and the Pokemon. “Who?” Lupin’s puppet asked. “How did he or she come to be?” Tonks asked. “How?” Lupin’s puppet asked. “Lupin, knock it off!” Tonks said somewhat angrily before smacking Lupin’s puppet with a stick. The Pokemon, particularly Chimchar, giggled at this, and Lupin began having his puppet rub its head as if it were in pain.
“Don’t worry, Lupin and I will tell you.” Tonks continued, to which Lupin nodded in agreement. “It’s a tale of a Trog… and a freak.” Tonks continued in a story teller type way as she and Lupin continued to sing and as somewhat evil expressions came across their faces.
On the docks near Hawaii Dame,
Years ago on a snowy night, two Trogs, a Digimon and a strange creature that looked like he was half Digimon and half Trog were traveling by boat. The four were trying not to be seen, for they were Enchanters (like wizards, witches, etc), who were hunted and despised by the authority of Hawaii, which was led by the most hated of all the authority.
The first of the group was the Digimon, a young female Gatomon with grey-blue eyes that were somewhat cloudy in color who was wearing a purple cloak and had a black tailring on her tail instead of the normal golden colored tailring a Gatomon normally wore. She was Gatomontwo Darkfur, a cloned Gatomon, but a Gatomon nonetheless. At that moment, she was trying to keep her baby quite so as not to alert the authorities.
The second of the group was a black furred Trog with large bat-like ears, bright red eyes, long antennae with dark purple stripes on them, a long fluffy tail with five red stripes on it and a red tuft at the end of it, dark purple, sharp claws on his front paws and purple markings around his eyes. He was wearing a silver earring in his left ear, a silver watch on his right wrist and a dusty black robe. He was Shadeigo Darkfur, Gatomontwo’s husband.
The third of the group was the half Trog, half Digimon looking creature. He had shoulder length antennae, a mix of Gatomon and Trog ears that had red tufts on the tips of them, purple patches over his eyes, white markings on the back of his head and middle of his back and a long, fluffy tail with four purple stripes, a purple tuft at the end of it and a half black, half golden colored tail ring around it. The Trog’s/Digimon’s eyes were dark purple in color, he had three purple stripes on his left cheek, and his chest was a lighter shade of purple, the same shade of purple as the patches over his eyes, and he had red gloves over his paws with two purple stripes on the sides of the gloves, and white claws. He was also wearing a dark blue colored robe. He was Shademon Darkfur, Gatomontwo and Shadeigo’s son.
“Keep him quiet, Gatomon! The authorities might hear him and find us!” Shadeigo hissed, referring to the child that was with Gatomontwo. The child was Gatomontwo and Shadeigo’s second born son, who was wrapped up and hidden as best as Gatomontwo could make him appear. “Yeah… try to keep him quiet.” Shademon added quietly. “Be quiet, little one, please.” Gatomontwo said quietly, trying her best to calm the child.
Lupin: Four frightened Enchanters slid silently under

The group soon got off the boat, and the second Trog spoke up. The second Trog was grey in color with black tipped ears, a brown tuft of fur in the middle of his head, brown, grey and black striped, short antennae and brown markings on his face and arms. He was wearing a brown hooded cloak, with the hood up and covering most of his face. He was Louis. “Come on, hurry! We need four guilders for safe passage to Hawaii town!” Louis said hurriedly.
(Phantom: I’m sure the town has a name, I just can’t remember it at the moment. XD)
Suddenly, a plasma blast blazed through the air and blasted through the stick Louis was holding, which caused the Trogs, Digimon-Trog and Digimon to quickly whirl around to face many guards, who were quickly surrounding them.
Tonks: But a trap had been laid for the gypsies
And they gazed up in fear and alarm
At a figure whose clutches
Were iron as much as the bells
The group then gasped upon seeing a sinister figure emerge from the shadows. The figure was soon revealed to be a Trog with bright red colored fur, frilled ears, a mauve colored chest, crocked antennae, four arms and spikes protruding from his back. He was wearing a black jumpsuit.
“Judge Leroy Severus!” Shadeigo gasped, causing Louis and Shademon to growl angrily as Gatomontwo got closer to Shadeigo.

To purge the world of vice and sin.

Leroy stared at the Enchanters with a look of sheer hatred in his eyes as the guards cuffed Shadeigo, Louis and Shademon. Only Gatomontwo remained free. Gatomontwo looked on in horror as Louis, Shadeigo and Shademon were carried off by the guards of Hawaii town. She then held her baby close to her, not wanting him to be taken away and not wanting to be taken away herself.
And he saw corruption everywhere
Except within.
“Bring those freaks to the House of Severus.” Venom said icily with a stern glare on his face. “Hey, you there! What are you hiding?!” one of the guards asked upon spotting the baby in Gatomontwo’s arms. “Stolen treasure, no doubt. Take it from her.” Leroy replied as icily as before as he narrowed his eyes before staring straight at Gatomontwo.
“She ran.” Lupin said darkly.
Gatomontwo then wasted no time and started running as fast as her paws could carry her. Leroy growled loudly and then got onto his Rapidash and began chasing after the Digimon Enchantress. He wasn’t about to let her escape. He was feared and hated by the Enchanters for good reasons, and this was one of them; he was merciless. Gatomontwo slid a little in the snow as she rounded a corner just as Leroy came close to catching her. Gatomontwo then ran up a flight of steps and led to an iron gate. When she came to the gate, Gatomontwo, with all of her strength that hadn’t been concentrated on running, leapt over the fence, temporarily preventing Leroy from following her.
She sighed a sigh of relief when she saw Hawaii Dame wasn’t too far away, and knowing she could claim sanctuary for herself and her baby there, Gatomontwo started running toward it. She knew as well as any other Enchanter that those who claimed sanctuary there were always welcomed and couldn’t be touched by the authorities of Hawaii, not even Leroy.
Chorus: Dies irae, dies illa (Day of wrath, that day)
Solvet saeclum in favilla (Shall consume the world in ashes)

Gatomontwo soon arrived at the church and began pounding on the door. She then spoke out as loudly as she could, hoping someone inside would hear her. “Sanctuary, please give us sanctuary!” Gatomontwo cried. Suddenly, she stopped pounding on the door as the sound of hoof beats grabbed her attention. Gatomontwo then turned around and gasped in horror upon seeing Leroy and his Rapidash, who had somehow managed to get over the fence. Terrified, Gatomontwo started to run away again, but this time, Leroy pulled out his staff and carefully aimed it at Gatomontwo. “Stupefy!” Leroy shouted as a blast of magic flew toward Gatomontwo. It hit the Digimon Enchantress, preventing her from moving anywhere else. Leroy then came over to Gatomontwo and got close enough to seize half of the baby’s blanket.
Somehow, Gatomontwo regained movement of her head and arms, and she began to pull back on the baby’s blanket, desperately trying to get her child free from Leroy. “I’ll teach you to mess with me, Enchantress. Avada Kedavra!” Leroy shouted as he aimed his staff at Gatomontwo once more. The magic blast came again, and hit Gatomontwo straight on. Gatomontwo then screamed in pain, letting go of the baby’s blanket as she did, and a moment later, she fell over on the steps of Hawaii Dame, dead. “Good riddance to an Enchantress, I say.” Leroy thought with a satisfied look on his face. The baby then started crying again, which caused Leroy to cock his head in a confused manner. “What in the world? It was a baby?” Leroy thought. Curiously, he undid the blanket, revealing the baby.
The baby looked like a dark purple Nyaromon with bright red eyes, tiny devil wings, two light purple stripes on his tail and three dark purple spikes on his tail. Seeing the baby caused Leroy to gasp in horror before covering the baby again. “A half Digimon!” Leroy gasped. He then began looking around for a way to dispose of the baby without anyone seeing or hearing anything. Finally, he spotted something.
Leroy had spotted a well not too far from where his Rapidash was standing. It wasn’t exactly the most honorable thing to do, but to him, it was the only clean and quiet way. He got off the Rapidash and made his way over to the well. He then raised the baby half Digimon above the well, preparing to rid the world of him like he had done to Gatomontwo. Before Leroy could drop the baby into the well, however, a voice rang out.
“STOP!”
“Cried the archdeacon, Bob Parr.” Tonks continued with a smile on her face.
Just then, a muscular man with short blonde hair and blue eyes who was wearing a black short sleeved shirt, blue jeans and black shoes came out of the church, stopping Leroy from killing the half Digimon child. He was Bob Parr, AKA Mr. Incredible, the Archdeacon of Hawaii Dame. He had come out, deciding to stop the Minister of Justice from committing another murderous act.
“This is an unholy demon! I’m sending him back to Hell where he belongs!” Leroy snapped. Bob then kneeled down to the dead Enchantress, apparently not wanting to hear any of what Leroy was saying.
Bob: See here the innocent blood you have spilt
On the steps of Hawaii Dame?
“I am guiltless, she ran, I pursued.” Leroy said coldly. He wasn’t about to deal with someone saying he was guilty of anything, but Bob wasn’t about to give it up. “Why should I be concerned about my guilt, anyway?” Leroy thought as his eyes narrowed slightly, despite claiming he didn’t have any guilt to worry about.
Now you would add this poor child’s life to your guilt
On the steps of Hawaii Dame??
“My conscience is clear!” Leroy protested as he snarled loudly and as his ears pressed back against his head in sheer annoyance. He was really starting to get annoyed with Bob and what he was saying. Bob, again, wasn’t about to give up, as he looked sternly at Leroy.
You can lie to yourself and your minions,
You can claim that you haven’t a qualm.
But you never can run from
Nor hide what you’ve done from the eyes…
The very eyes of Hawaii Dame.
Chorus: Kyrie Eleison (God have mercy)
Bob then pointed toward the statues of Hawaii Dame, which caused Leroy to turn around. His eyes widened in fear upon seeing all the eyes of the statues. Leroy could have sworn the eyes were all looking accusingly at him, it seemed as if one false move would be bad.
Tonks and Lupin: And for one time in his life
Of power and control,
Chorus: Kyrie Eleison (God have mercy)
Leroy felt a twinge of fear
For his immortal soul.
Leroy grew more terrified upon spotting a statue of a lady holding a child. The statue appeared to be staring hatefully at Leroy, most likely hating him for what he had done. As a clap of thunder was heard, Leroy realized he couldn’t kill the child, no matter how much he wanted to do so. “So, what must I do?” Leroy asked with a hint of worry in his voice as Bob began to walk away with Gatomontwo. “Care for the child, raise him as your own. Who knows? It may even make up for killing this innocent girl.” Bob replied sternly. As Bob said this, he picked up Gatomontwo’s dead body. He intended on giving her a proper burial, after all, despite being an Enchantress, she was still a child of God.
Upon hearing this, Leroy stared at Bob with an astonished look on his face. “WHAT?! You expect me to raise this freakish…” Leroy began, but he stopped himself short of finishing the sentence. Leroy was a respected member of the authority. If he were seen taking care of the baby, he would loose what he had gained through fear and the usual. “I’ve got no choice in this… but how can I make sure that I’m not seen with this… freakish creature?” Leroy thought. Finally, an idea came to him.
“…Very well. I’ll take care of him, but only on the condition that he lives with you in the church.” Leroy said calmly. Bob looked a bit astonished by what Leroy had said, but he hid it well. “Live here?? Well, alright, but where exactly do you intend on me keeping him?” Bob asked. “Anywhere, I frankly don’t care where.” Leroy replied before looking over Hawaii Dame.
Leroy: Just so he’s kept locked away
Where no one else can see.
“…I’ve got it. Keep him in the bell tower. And, who knows? Our Lord works in mysterious ways.” Leroy stated after a moment. He then looked down at the child and smiled an evil smile.
Even this freakish creature could prove one day to be…
Of use to me.
The puppet show continued, and soon, the baby grew into a three year old, rookie-leveled half Digimon that looked vaguely like a Salamon who rang the bells as Tonks and Lupin finished their song.
Tonks and Lupin: Now here is a riddle to guess if you dare

Just who is the freak and who is the Trog?

The song came to an end, and we go from the puppet show to the actual bell tower, where the bells were being rung by the mysterious Venom Darkfur. He had been ringing the bells of the bell tower since the day he first learned how.
