Author's Notes: This is my first story I’ve ever posted to any public forum. Up until now most of what I have wrote in the past has either sat idol on my hard-drive or only read by my brother or the very closest of my friends in the form of extensive backgrounds for various Role-Play Games.

All the characters in the story are based on characters developed by either myself or through assistance from my friends. Thank you Aaron, Mike, Jason, John, Tasha and Naomi for all of your support, I love you all.

Any spelling, punctuation or grammatical errors I now officially blame on Dust-Bunny (my white Persian kitten) since she ‘insists’ on helping me type by sitting on my lap, crawling on my shoulders… or even walking and/or sleeping on the keyboard while I’m away.

The setting for this story is 872 years before Yavin (BBY). This is 151 years after The Battle of Ruusan (1031 BBY), so this is set after the rule of Darth Bane. I haven’t read any of the Darth Bane novels as of yet and hopefully I don’t make any major errors as far as timeline assumptions go, but most of what I write tends to be a little less Galactic Republic spanning and noteworthy than some other fanfic stories.

This is the story of a young Twi’lek slave girl that is trying to escape her captivity by stowing away on a nearby docked light-freighter. She soon finds herself caught up in something far more than the simple life that she had always dreamt about, with Hutt double-crosses, bounty hunters, Jedi Knights, assassins, and Sith Warriors under the command of a new major threat that goes by the moniker: Darth Shiva.

Dramatis Personae:

Ambrosia Lynn: An amethyst skinned Twi’lek girl that made good her escape from her slave master, Galavin the Hutt. She is somewhat emotional, shy and unsure of herself and is at a total loss as to what her place in the galaxy should be, but she is determined to make good of her new freedoms for as long as it lasts.

Alexander Vetamere: A plum-haired Near-Human that has taken a temporary leave of absence from his duties within the Jedi Order. While he isn’t entirely sure just how long this may last, he has taken on work as a deckhand onboard the light freighter ‘Starry Delight’ as the vessel’s mechanic. Alexander is quickly coming to realize that the aging vessel just may need more attention that what his meager mechanical skills are capable of, though he is trying hard to keep the ship flying.

Jasmine Onasi: Captain of the Starry Delight, this Human female tries to run a straight forward ship that only deals with legal cargo loads. Though as of late she has run into hard financial troubles and has been forced to accept more and more shipments from the gangster Galavin the Hutt. She is a little quirky, and even untrusting of strangers, though tries to be honest and fair to her crew.
