Chapter 1: Arriving

A girl at the age of 16 sat in a high tree branch, she could see the whole village from the spot. The said girl had a standard Anbu uniform on, and on the side of her head a mask that looked like a fox. The girl looked to her side as she felt someone’s presence.

“Kagome-Sama. The team is ready to leave.” the said figure said as he stepped out of the shadows.

“Thank you. I’ll meet them at the village gate, Kira.” the girl now known as Kagome answered as she got up and landed on the ground in front of him.

“Hai Kagome-Sama.” with that said Kira left in a swirl of leaves.

“I guess it’s that time already. How will the team do in the Jonin exam. I wonder. I have a feeling something is going to happed, but what?” Kagome mussed to herself as she made her way to the village gates.

Village Gates

Kagome had just made it to the village gates and saw her team waiting for her. She gave a small smile from under her mask as she made her way to her students that have been waiting for her to arrive.

“Hello everyone. How do you all feel today?” she asked as she stopped in front of them.

“Fine Kagome-Sensie.” They replied in a union.

“Good Mizore, Yuuki, Kaname. Lets head out we want to get to the Konahamaru before midday.” Kagome said as she lead her team out of the gates and into the dense forest.

They had been travailing for a couple of hours now and had one to go, Mizore was getting fed up with the silence though.

“Kagome-Sama?” Mizore asked

“Yes?”

“Why is it when ever we leave the village you always wear your mask and never take it off?” Mizore questioned.

“I guess it’s because I feel safer with it on. It’s a mask it doesn’t show who you are, and I like it that way. I don’t like people judging me by my gender or my looks. I remember when I was a jonin, all everyone did was stare at me because of what clan I come from. Why do you ask?” Kagome told them.

“I was just curious, and I was tired of no one talking for almost two or three hours strait. How much longer untill we get there, anyway?” she asked getting impatient.

“We’re almost there. See.” Kaname pointed out as she saw the gates of the Hidden Leaf village.

“Oh” was the only reply Mizore gave as Yuuki and Kagome just sweatdroped.

“ You Know Mizore I think you’re the most impatient ninja I will ever meet.” Yuuki said rather bluntly.

“Am Not!” Mizore yelled with a small blush on her cheeks.

“Yes you are!” Yuuki yelled back.

Kagome just sighed as they reached the gates. The guards and a couple of ninja who were talking with them looked at them weird, as they watch the argument.

“Yes you are!” Yuuki yelled

“No I’m noooottt!!” Mizore yelled back.

Kaname was looking the other way trying to ignore them, as Kagome just gave another sigh.

“Stat your business.” One of the guards said.

“Kagome Higurashi, and her team here for the Jonin exam.” Kagome stated.

“Ahh. We’ve been waiting for you and your team to arrive.” Said a voice behind the guards. Kagome looked at the figure behind the guard and tried not to blush, but failed.:Good thing I’m wearing a mask.: Kagome thought. The person who said this was a a boy about her age wearing a jonin unciform. He had blond hair, his heate(spelling.) Was one his forehead, he had crystal blue eyes that you could lose yourself in them, and he wore a smile on his handsome face.

“Have you now?” Kagome asked

“Yes. We have heard things about the only team made up of girls.” said the boy.

“I hop all of them were good.” she asked.

“Of course.” he said with a laugh.

“It doesn’t seem they get along though.” he said gesturing to the two girls who were still fighting.

“No they get along. It’s just they like to pester one another like siblings.” Kagome said dryly giving them a look which in turn made the two fighting quiet down, and the other smirk.

“That would explain it. You all know where you are staying right?” he asked changing the subject.

“Yes and no. We are staying at Neko Inn, but I don’t know where that is.” Kagome said embarrassed.

“I’ll show you were it is.” He told them gesturing for them to fallow his, and they did.

After a couple of minutes of walking they had stopped in front of a nice looking inn.

“Thank you very much. I hope to see you around again...”

“Arashi Kazuma” he told them with a smile.

“Kazuma-san.” Kagome said with a smile.

“It was nice meeting you and see you around. Since the exams don’t start for a couple of days I’ll probably see you wandering around, or if you want meet me at training groung 7 and I’ll introduce you and your team some of the other teams.” Arashi told her as he was leaving.” Oh and Kagome call me Arashi.” with this said he disappeared in a puff of smoke.

After he disappeared he left a stunned, but blushing Kagome.

“Kagome-sensie?” asked Kaname

“Yes.” she answered

“What’s wrong, or more like it what are you thinking.?” Kaname asked.

“I’m thinking he was... pretty cute.” she confessed shocking her students.

“Kagome-Sensie. I think that is the most girl thing I have ever heard you say.” Yuuki told her bluntly.

She gave a chuckle.”I guess you’re right. But he still was cute. I might even decide to leave my mask off tomorrow when we go to meet him.” she said as she walked inside the hotel, leaving even more shocked students behind. After a couple of seconds they realized they had been left behind and ran after her with a yell of Kagome-Sensie.

Summery- Kagome has just transferred to Oruan High school. Her full name is Kagome Higa-Tashio. She is the adopted sister of Sesshomaru Tashio. Kagome is one day dragged to the host club, by some of the girls in her class..Where they find out she also is Haruhi’s cousin. One day she finds Bereznoff, she asks the host club if they know who it belongs to and tell her. When she goes to the Black Magic club to give it back she gets more than she badgered for, like getting to join the club. (The story will go sort of like this. Should change a little but not a lot.)
