Young Love

“Leave me alone!” Cried a beyond annoyed Kakashi Hatake. A pout formed on the little brunette boy’s lips. “But why?” He whined. Kakashi Huffed. “Because you’re a pain and always following me!” He replied. Iruka simply grinned. “But I want to learn what you learn Kaka-kun!” The boy beamed. Kakashi threw his hands up in the surrender. He continued to walk to the training ground, muttering pointless nothings as Iruka followed cheerfully behind.

“Kakashi-baka!” A loud voice called out making Kakashi grimace. Iruka made himself known by waving at Kakashi’s teammate. “Hi Obito-kun!” He grinned when he got a beam and a wave back in return. Kakashi pushed Iruka forward, making him walk closer to his team. Rin jumped down from her position on a tree branch.

“Iruka-chan!” Rin smiled. “Come to watch us train again today?” A small blush rose to Iruka’s cheeks as he nodded. Kakashi raised an eyebrow with a distasteful frown. He didn’t notice but Obito sure did. The goggle boy smirked. He nudged Kakashi in the side. “Jealous Kakashi-baka?” He asked. Kakashi once again huffed and crossed his arms, only to be jumped on by his little fanboy. “Kaka-kun! I only love you!” He said with honesty.

Kakashi blushed. Both of the boys when hey heard a laugh. “Iruka-chan, are you embarrassing Kakashi-kun?” Iruka grinned at the male sensei. “Yes, sensei!” He replied joyfully. Arashi laughed and ruffled Iruka’s pulled back hair. “Good job.” He praised. Kakashi snorted. “Iruka-chan, why don’t you sit with me, while Obito and Kakashi spar?” Iruka nodded in agreement. “Hai!” Arashi smiled.

“Alright let’s begin.”

Kakashi knew he had a rather big ego and Iruka was only making it bigger, with all his cheering and sound effects whenever he made a hit. Kakashi smirked to himself as he shook his head when he heard Rin laugh when Iruka almost fell from his branch from his constant bouncing. Arashi gave him a light warning about breaking the branch. After a moment, Kakashi noticed the cheering had stopped and he turned around to see why. That mistake earned him a punch in the cheek.

“Ha!” Obito cheered. “Obito 1! Kakashi zip!” The boy sniggered slyly. Iruka blinked then laughed. Kakashi huffed, pouted; mentally blaming Iruka. Arashi chuckled.

“Very nice Obito.”

“Rin, why don’t you go face Obito?” Rin nodded and walked toward Obito, while Kakashi walked towards Arashi. Iruka climbed down the tree and plopped down beside Kakashi. After a few moments of silence, which young Kakashi was grateful for, he felt a small finger touch his aching cheek.

“WHAT!” Little Hatake finally exploded. Iruka smiled innocently. “Does that hurt?” He asked. Kakashi’s eyebrow twitched. “Yes, because you keep poking it!” Iruka looked sheepish and drew back his hand. “Sorry.” He mumbled. Kakashi shook his head, as if telling him not to worry about it. “Obito wins!” The hyperactive boy cried tackling Iruka in a random hug. “I’m on a role!” He grinned.

Arashi laughed. “Good job Obito.” The student in training beamed.

“That’s enough for today…would anyone like lunch?” He asked.

“Ramen!” Iruka cried out shamelessly.

Next Morning

As Kakashi walked to the normal training area, he noticed Iruka was nowhere to be seen. He frowned, used to the little pest, but simply shook his head and thought nothing of it. When he walked onto the empty area, he felt like something was most defiantly wrong and soon enough, Obito came running over to him, panting.

Before he could ask any questions though, his teammate said something that made his heart freeze.

“Iruka…he’s in the hospital…he was attacked last night by a missing nin.” Kakashi stared at his friend in shock, and then rushed to the hospital.

Kakashi’s POV

Please be alright Iruka. Don’t die. He’s, despite his way to bug the living hell out of me, my best friend…maybe…maybe even more then that. I’ll kill who ever hurt Iruka…my Iruka.

Normal POV

When Kakashi got to the hospital, he raced inside and demanded to know what room Iruka was in. The nurse behind the desk blinked in surprise. “Umino Iruka?” She guessed and he nodded. “Room…uh…Room 208.” She told him. Kakashi rushed away in search for the room.

He hated hospitals. They were always so…nerve racking. It was just creepy, knowing people have died or are dieing in it. Plus, they were always so damn white.

Room 208

He started at it, the door. Half of him wanted to barge in there and know what the hell happened, and yet the other half didn’t want to go in at all in fear of what he might find. He finally moved his hand on the handle, turned it and opened the door; expecting the worst.

He blinked his eyes when four heads turned to him in a silent greeting. His insides took the silence as something horrible. He snapped his eyes to the bed, the white bed. He noticed the person he wanted to see was blocked by his sensei. He walked closer and peeked in front of Arashi.

“Kaka-kun!”

Kakashi never knew such a simple, childish name would make his heart flutter and a smile form on his lips.

FIN

A/N: Have you noticed that whatever something bad happens, kids automatically think someone’s going to die :3 Ahh to be innocent.

Review! I need them survive! (That and chocolate) XD
