Disclaimer: I don't own them. This is fiction.

Note: The original idea for this fic came from my boyfriend.

Warning: This will have nothing to do with current WWE storylines. Most of 'em suck anyway.'

Good/Bad news (depending on who you are): No Slash. No DX members. My apologies.

This was bullshit. I stared at the screen watching Undertaker and Batista fight in that cell over the World Heavyweight Championship. Bullshit. It should've been me in this match. I was the one who got injured by Kane and was forced to relinquish the title. I told them I'd be ready to come back by Survivor Series thinking that I'd be booked in the championship match. The company was hyping MY RETURN at this pay-per-view.

I was on the poster. I was in the commercials. I was in the ads for Survivor Series! And yet, I didn't even have a match. How do you hype of the return of the Rated R Superstar and not even book him in a fucking match?

I turned away from the screen and began to walk around backstage in the arena. I'd have to wait my turn. How long would that be? Another month or two? Or three?

To hell with that.

As if fate was reading my thoughts, something fell behind me and landed on the floor with a loud thud. I turned around to see a... chainsaw. I smiled. I deserved a title shot more than that walking corpse. I picked it up and ran my hands over the blades, nice and sharp. I pulled the cord on it trying to start it up to little success. "You fucker. START UP!" The chainsaw started as I screamed at it with a loud roar. I smiled even bigger. This would get those dumb asses attention.

I shut the chainsaw off and ran up towards entrance ramp. Someone had asked me what I was doing and I shoved them out of the way. I threw back the curtain and stepped out onto the stage. The crowd was so enthralled into the match they didn't even notice me. Well, they'd definitely notice me in a minute. I didn't really remember pulling the cord as the chainsaw roared to life in my hands halfway down the ramp. The fans on the ramp took notice and looked shocked for a second before they started booing their retard asses off.

Fuck 'em.

Batista and Undertaker hadn't stopped pummeling each in the middle of the ring. I noticed both were busted open as I stood in front of the door to the cell. "Looks like a nice heavy lock and chain they got there." The chainsaw took of care of that pretty quickly, and while it was still running I flung open the cell door. That's when some of the other referees came down to try and stop me. I threatened them with the chain saw and they all backed off, some of them with a dark, wet spot on their pants. I finally turned the chainsaw off and tossed it aside as I got into the ring.

Either Batista and Taker were deaf, stupid or fatigued because they were still going at each other like nothing had happened. The referee in the ring yelled at me to get out of the cell.

Fat chance, fucker.

I climbed into the ring just as Undertaker was getting ready to chokeslam Batista. I was going to send a message to everyone in the back: Edge doesn't appreciate being overlooked. Before Undertaker could get Batista up in the air, I speared the shit out of him. Moron didn't see it coming. I slowly got up and screamed in his face, "THAT TITLE IS MINE!" Then I slipped out of the ring, pleased with my work ignoring the screams and jeers from a few fans. The crowd hated me at that point. So fucking what?

On my way up the ramp I could see up on the Titantron Batista powerbombing the Undertaker. I stopped to watch the pin, 1-2-3. Batista's music blasted out over the arena almost drowning out the mixed reaction he was getting. He grabbed his belt and he limped up the ramp as the cell was lifted. He looked at me and held his belt up high as if to say, "this is mine."

Yeah, it's yours... For now.

I kept an eye on him as he walked behind the curtain; just in case he decided to attack me. Just like Batista, The Big Dumb Animal would. And I bet all the jack asses in the audience would've loved to have seen it. Batista's music died and the crowd continued booing and even started up an "EDGE SUCKS" chant.

Then I looked down at the ring, the Undertaker was still flat on his back. Serves him right. He'd already had his chance before I came back. I turned around to walk backstage when a bolt of lightning struck directly in front of me. I jumped back, fell backwards halfway down the ramp and landed on my ass trying avoid getting struck myself. My heart felt like it had gone to my throat.

Lightning doesn't naturally occur INDOORS now does it?

I got on my hands and knees and looked towards the ring where smoke was beginning to pour out from underneath it. I slowly stood up, my eyes transfixed on the ring. The Undertaker sat up eyes closed, I could see it from where I was. Then, his eyes snapped open, they were rolled back in his head. That creepy gong sound played over the arena and the lights went out. Lightning struck the ring and a few seconds later the lights came up.

And The Undertaker was gone.
