Yes, yes I know it’s been awhile since I focused on this fanfic but I’m doing it now. I hope you like it and be warned the reason it may not make sense is because I’m half asleep.

This story is coming to an end by the way, it may end on the 20th chapter, so keep an eye out for a big finale leading up to it.

The Alltrix Legacies.

Chapter 18

The beginning of the end.

Chromia grinned as she watched Ironhide’s face plate’s change through a various range of emotions. First came shock, then horror followed shortly by confusion until realisation settled in quickly over came by fear. That had been when the weapon specialist had fainted, waking up shortly after screaming something about mad bursts of energy running rampant around his feet. First Aid explained it was probably something to do with the fact he was going to become a father. The Autobot had left the comfort of the asylum after Ratchet had signed himself of active duty for the next week. No one knew why, but Chromia knew First Aid had a faint idea and Chromia was picking up on it too.

“I give him a week.” Chromia said suddenly as Ironhide spluttered silent words.

“Give who a week.”First Aid asked.

“Ratchet, I give him a week before he confesses to Mickela about how he feels. It’s obvious he cares for the girl, but I think he knows in his spark that it may not work.” Chromia explained.

“It’s clear to say Sam is lost, there is no way he is going to be normal again. Not even Starfire is that powerful and neither is the Abhorsen Angel. He’s as good as dead and the both of them know that.”

“I couldn’t help but see a hint of pain in Ratchet’s optics at the sight of the baby.”

“I saw that too, I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.”

“Wait a second.” Ironhide said suddenly. “You’re pregnant.”

First Aid and Chromia looked at each other before sighing and running their hands down their face plates. Ironhide glared back at the two of them as they groaned at his slowness, shaking his head the weapon specialist grinned. Chromia smirked slowly back at him as she stood up and jumped him.

“I need a femme.” First Aid groaned.

Elsewhere Ratchet stared at the female in front of him watching her carefully as she stared back at him. His processor struggled to take in the new information he received and even he was beginning to find it hard to believe. It was true he cared for the girl in a way he knew he shouldn’t, but his feelings for Mickela grew every time he saw her.

“Ratchet, say something please.” The new mother asked.

“I...I actually can’t. I’m shocked now that I know how you really feel about me.” The medic replied.

“I know, I just couldn’t hold it in any more. I really do love you and I will not accept no for an answer.”

“Mickela please you have to understand I cannot do this to Sam.” Ratchet said as the female folded her arms.

“Sam is dead, I know he is. He’s gone and he’s not coming back, I’m smart enough to know and realise that. Truthfully I’m okay with that, I know he’s better off in the afterlife than he was here on Earth.” Mickela said.

“That is true, after the torment he has suffered it would be better for him to be...Dead shall we say.”

“So please give me an answer tell me you feel the same, I at least deserve that.”

“Then an answer you shall receive.” Ratchet said quietly. “I do love you; I have always loved you ever since the first time I laid optics on you. I know it sounds, corny as you humans say, but my feelings for you have grown each day. It hurt when you disappeared I was worried and a little scared I would never see you again.

“Let me guess that’s the first time you’ve opened up.” Mickela added.

“Truthfully yes and I must admit I feel much better now that I’ve said it.” Ratchet answered.

“Good because now I want a kiss.” Mickela grinned as the Medic kindly obeyed.

Decepticon base.

Valmar watched as Starfire slowly stalked towards him, not a single sound was made in the room as everyone stood still. A sadistic grin was plastered on his face as he opened up his arms offering her an embrace. An embrace she never took as her cold optics glared hard at her prey, Valmar never swayed under the intensity of her gaze; in fact he seemed to revel in it.

“You believe you can take me down, when in fact it is the other way round.” Valmar chuckled.

“Believe what you want, today you will die.” Starfire snarled.

“Oh my dear you have it entirely wrong, today is the day you will die but not by my hand.” Valmar laughed.

“You’re only halting the inevitable.”

“Only because I know the truth, you see my dear I know you’re weakness I know how to destroy you. Even though it will not be by my hand your destruction will still unfold.”

“You’re lying.” Starfire challenged as she stood in front of him.

“Am I, let us see how it plays out or we could end this right now if you kneel as my queen.” Valmar asked as lust dripped from his words.

“You even lay anything on her and I’ll rip you to shreds.” Sunstreaker snarled.

“Sunstreaker, you can’t do anything now.” Sentinel said. “But I must warn you, prepare yourself for the worst.”

The yellow warrior looked at Sentinel in disbelief, confusion settling in with his words. Sunstreaker turned to watch Starfire his spark filled with worry as he realised something wasn’t right. He could feel the ancient power from the prophecy in his spark along with feeling the cold coming from Starfire’s. It was then Sunstreaker realised that this was not going to end well and more than one life was going to fall and he knew whose.

“Tell me Valmar what is my weakness I want to see if you have the right one.” Starfire snarled as her hands sparked.

“Isn’t the mere conscience a weakness on its own?” Valmar riddled. “Is not the body a sanctuary to confusion?”

“You’re making no sense.” Starfire replied.

“We may have every foe on the planet destroyed but yet there will always be one remaining. One that cannot be defeated unless faced with death, but even then there is the challenge of whether or not that life is taken.” Valmar continued as he walked towards the confused femme.

Starfire watched him carefully as Valmar walked towards her, his arms folding around himself. She readied herself for any hint of attack as he circled around her. The coldness from him escalating around the room, his ‘minions’ feeding of it. Her brothers watched carefully along with the Autobot’s, Starfire could feel Aquastreak watching everyone carefully ready to wipe them all out.

“Are we not our own worst enemy.” Valmar whispered behind her.

Starfire spun round and caught the one solid part around his neck, her optics flashed dangerously as Valmar laughed and held up his hands in defeat. Aqua’s blades rose automatically as Starfire released the villain. Realisation settled in as Starfire understood the meaning of Valmar’s words.

“I will never fall down that path.” She snarled.

“Then let em do it for you.” Valmar snarled back at her as he lunged.

Road ruins.

Skysweeper and Starlight raced down the broken roads following the beacon the two of them had picked up. They had both raced in silence not caring what stood in their way and soon the Decepticon’s base came into view. Slowing down the two of them transformed and Starlight stepped back as her brother landed.

“Don’t you find it strange that no one is around?” Starlight asked.

“They must all be inside or else there already dead.”Skysweeper replied.

“They better not be I want some fun and revenge for what they did to our parents.”

“Don’t worry sis’ we’ll get our revenge and everything will be okay and back to normal.”

Starlight smiled as Skysweeper crept towards the base, a part of her wanted to believe him but yet another part screamed it was going to get worse. Then crept in the bad feeling, Starlight shook it off as she followed after her brother. Creeping quietly towards the base the twins climbed up onto the roof and peered down into the room below. Starlight pointed excitingly at the form of their father and Skysweeper grinned in return as he turned his sister’s gaze towards their mother.

“Do you think we should com them.” Starlight whispered.

“No, let’s see what happens then we’ll work something out.” Skysweeper replied.

Below them Sunstreaker shifted causing his optics to pick up a flash of colour above him, he glanced up quickly and growled at the sight he saw. Skysweeper and Starlight cringed as Sunstreaker glared at them but his attention was cut short as a hiss sounded throughout the room.

“Stand still so I can kill you.” Starfire screeched as Valmar backed away from her.

“Why can the big bad femme not catch her prey today, am I making things difficult.” Valmar teased.

“I know what you’re trying to do and it isn’t going to work.” Starfire growled

“Oh I think different, let us see shall we.”

Valmar grinned as he raised his hand and within seconds a scream filled the air and Starfire was staring into the optics of her daughter. Starlight stared back at her mother her sheepish look quickly changing to one of fear. Aquastreak and Sideswipe both dashed forward to grab Sunstreaker as he made to lunge at maniac. Jazz shook his head and looked up just in time to see Skysweeper descend to the floor.

“Ya do realise this was a bad idea right.” Jazz questioned.

“I didn’t know this was gonna happen, we were worried and wanted to help.” Skysweeper replied.

“By doing so it could get your sister killed.” Wheeljack added.

“Boy, are you mad.” Aqua snarled. “This place isn’t safe.”

“I know, okay we made a mistake.” Skysweeper said as all his plans dissolved before him.

The young flier turned to look at his father, seeing him struggling to get out of Sideswipe’s and Aquastreak’s grasp. Sunstreaker stopped struggling and turned to look at Skysweeper, his optics narrowing. Skysweeper shifted under his father’s gaze as he turned to look over at his captive sister. Starlight struggled under Valmar’s hold, her optics pleading with her mother to help her. Starfire raced through anything to help get her daughter out of the situation unharmed but knew that wasn’t how it was going to work.

“You know, she looks just like you. Except the colour but her features are yours so I take it this is your daughter.” Valmar smirked.

“Let her go or I swear you’ll regret it.” Starfire warned.

“Alright I will.”

Valmar loosened his grip on the femme and just as Starlight was about to escape Valmar’s hand shifted and a blade appeared. Within seconds it pierced through the small femmes form and with little force Valmar chucked Starlight away. Starfire growled and lunged at the villain just as Wheeljack and the other rushed over to the injured Starlight. All thought’s and medical help left Wheeljack’s processor as he turned Starlight over. Working quickly the scientist slowly slid the blade out being careful as to not rupture any vital wires.

“You never said alive.” Valmar laughed as he dodged the enraged femme’s fire blasts.

Sunstreaker growled as he pulled Skysweeper back down and turned to help Wheeljack save his daughter’s life. He watched as Starlight’s optics flickered as her gaze fell on him, sorrow and shame filling them immediately. Sunstreaker shifted as he wrapped his arm under her neck and smiled.

“It’s going to be okay, just you hang in there.” Sunstreaker soothed as Wheeljack worked.

I-I’m s-sorry dad, I-I didn’t mean t-to disappoint y-you.” Starlight stuttered.

“Hush you haven’t, I’m upset you came here but I’m not mad just hang in there okay.”

Sunstreaker smile vanished as he felt something cloud over his spark along with a simple twinge of paint. Looking over at Starfire he found her optics to darken as Valmar seemed to smirk almost triumphantly. Thoughts played out in his mind as he looked up at Sentinel, a look of sadness showing answering Sunstreaker’s question before he even asked. Below him he felt Starlight slipping away just as he felt darkness cloud Starfire.

“You see, even without you knowing the darkness is settling into your spark, clouding your mind.” Valmar laughed.

Starfire screeched as her optics flashed, pools of black glistened at her hands. Everything seemed to slow down as the black femme brought her hands together. What seemed like clouds of stars seemed to join together as lightening radiated of the power. Aqua’s optics widened as she stared into the supernova Starfire had created in her hands, and with a flick of her wrist Starfire threw the cloud of exploding stars towards the laughing Valmar. Shrieking triumphantly Valmar lifted his arms above his head as his bodily form twisted and convulsed around him.

“You are your own weakness.” Valmar shrieked quickly. “All I had to do was wait and let you destroy yourself.”

Valmar’s form twisted and spun before it collapsed in on itself and exploded in a mixture of black clouds and smog. His last words echoing around the room as a mixture of gazes glanced at Starfire carefully. Her optics as black as the abyss and her form sparking of dark energy, Aqua looked over at Sentinel as she raised herself up of the floor.

“Pandora’s box is open.” Sentinel whispered.

“And I have to close it.” Aqua said as she rose to her full height and faced her fallen friend.

Valmar may be dead but the war wasn’t over, the end had only just begun.
