A/N: One very quick thing to clear up: this happens while Holly and Artemis are on Hybras.
Erika Sekuma had been nominated to fill the council seat of Internal Affairs Director, left by Sool when he was promoted. When a council seat needed to be filled the LEP chose a nominee, who then had to be approved by the existing council, and the people in Haven and Atlantis. Erika Sekuma was not the best at running for anything. Many problems had arisen and were kept in check only because of Derek Sumal, who was running this. Normally it was just her speaking when she shouldn’t, but today it got worse.
“She what?!” Trouble screamed into the phone.
“She was arrested, commander.” Captain Calden replied.
“For what?”
“Drunk driving and, I think, resisting arrest.”
“You think!”
“Honestly, this thing is thirty minutes old.”
“So the press don’t know yet.”
“I don’t even think the police station out there knows yet.”
“They don’t know they’ve arrested Erika Sekuma.”
“I don’t think they know it’s that Erika Sekuma.”
“I’ve got to go talk to Droin.”
“And I will be with you in spirit.”
“Oh no, you will be with me in every way imaginable.”
“I’ve got a cab. I’ll be there in a couple minutes.”
“You had better be. I find it odd though. I mean, she doesn’t drink, right?”
No one answered him.
“You’re not there anymore are you? I’m talking to absolutely no one.” He slammed the phone shut and yanked open the door to his office. “Someone get me Captain Droin.”
“Now?” Grub asked.
“No, at any convenient moment you happen to have.” Trouble said sarcastically.

Lieutenant Derek Sumal stormed through LEP Police Plaza. Things were not going well. Getting Erika Sekuma appointed was going to be hard; he had known it from the start. Only one appointment to the council might have been harder, that of Wing Commander Vinyaya. This development was only the newest of a seemingly unending series of bumps in the road.
“Have you heard about this?” He asked catching up with Commander Kelp.
“Yes.”
“Is the entire underground out to get me right now?”
“It’s not that bad, Sumal.”
Sumal laughed, “Oh, yes it is. Where are we going anyway?”
“As soon as Calden shows up we’re going to seen Droin.” Captain Kieth Droin controlled the media around here. He good at it, the best they’d seen in a while. Without him many of things would have turned out worse than they did, far worse. “Ah, here he is now?”
“Am I late?” Calden asked, barely able to keep the hopefulness out of his voice.
“No Captain, you are just in time”
--
“What do we know?” Droin asked.
“Erika Sekuma doesn’t drink.” Sumal said with confidence.
“Obviously she was tonight.” Calden replied.
“You don’t understand me. I spent the last five months researching every detail of this person. She has a liver disease. Half a beer will kill her.”
From here Trouble took over. “Where was she arrested?” he asked.
“Ajot.” Calden replied.
“What was she doing there?”
“She was driving from Vendal, and stopping in Ajot to do some antiquing.”
“Sumal, Calden, I need you to get on the next plain for AAN, rent a car, drive to Ajot, and bail the next Internal affairs director out of jail.”

A/N: Chapter one down. It’s only going to be two chapters long. I broke my rule about not writing more than one story at a time, but this one’s going to be quick. One last thing (for any of you who are interested): AAN stands for Arlona/Ajot National. See I always have a reason for things.
