Disclaimer: I obviously don't own Naruto because if I did things would probably go A LOT differently. Plus I'm not Japanese and I'm not that good at drawing.
Note: Hola chicos. This is my new story and I hope you enjoy. Gracias y hasta luego.

The current Hokage, who was sitting in his office on top of Hokage tower, was currently having a migraine. He sighed as he rubbed the sides of his head in a pathetic attempt to get rid of the headache plaguing him. The Sandaime picked up his pipe and looked at the letter in front of him. The letter had been sent (by owl no less) from an old friend of his that he had met from his younger days. He hadn't talked to him in some time, but he was still a good friend who had saved his life all those years ago.
A certain 'wizard' by the name of Albus Dumbledore was currently asking for a favor in return. Apparently, at the school Albus was headmaster of, a triwizard tournament was taking place. Albus was worried about some dark wizard that was recently becoming active again after being defeated 14 years ago. Dumbledore requested that he send a jounin, preferably a jounin-sensei, and send him undercover as a teacher of a practical defense class (although enhanced by magic. see: chakra) If said jounin sensei had students Dumbledore mentioned telling him right away so that he would be able to extend an invintation to their "Eastern friends" to join in the triwizard tournament. Yes, this was defintely migraine inducing. How could he possibly say no?
Sarutobi sighed as he picked up his pen and wrote that he accepted the offer. He included who he was going to be sending plus the name of their student. He was sure that they would accept, but just to make sure he sent out one of the Hokage slaves...ehm, I mean chunin, to go get them. Some time later Minato Namikaze flashed into the room and gave him a small salute.
"You asked for me, Hokage-sama?"
"Yes, I sent for Kakashi as well. I'd like to wait until he comes to explain."
Minato gave a nervous chuckle and scratched at the side of his face, not exactly looking him in the eyes.
"Uh...well. The thing is...you'd probably better tell me now since I don't really think Kakashi will be coming for a while."
Sarutobi raised an eyebrow.
"Why not?"
"Just a hunch."
"A hunch? Please explain."
"Well...you see...ummm...When Kakashi..."
The Hokage began to rub at that damn migraine again.
"Nevermind. Pretend that I never asked. When would we be expecting him though?"
"Ohhh...probably not for another hour or so"
"Is that right? Well, I guess I'll give some of the basics to you and wait for Kakashi to get here to go over it and explain the rest."
"That would probably be best, Hokage-sama"
"Right. I'll be sending you and Kakashi on a mission to help out a friend of mine. He requested a jounin-sensei to teach at a school of his while said jounin would investigate some worries he's had over a rather sinister criminal that may be terrorizing on the wizarding community yet again."
"Excuse me, hokage-sama, but did you say wizarding?"
"Yes."
"But I thought wizards weren't real."
"Well, you thought wrong. They are in fact very real and rather similar to us. The difference is simply that they call chakra 'magic' and instead of using hand seals they use wands. Also they use their 'magic' more for academic or common purposes, rather than fighting. Plus they don't really have to train their bodies as extensively as we do."
"So basically they're peaceful, lazy ninjas?" Sweatdrop.
"You...could interpret it that way. Anyway, you'll have to station yourself there and see to the safety of the students especially while a certain 'triwizard' tournament is taking place. This is a tournament where wizards from two other countries will be competeing at the school in challenges that test them on their abilities."
"Challenges? I thought they were supposed to be non-combatant. Y'know, peaceful...?"
"They still have certain dangers in their own world and I never said they were all peaceful. You assumed."
Minato chuckled lightly.
"Yeah, you're right. Sorry."
"My friend, Albus Dumbledore, also mentioned that if the jounin-sensei I was sending currently had students that they could join him as a contestant for this tournament by representing our country. Although Kakashi would have to arrive at a later date."
"Well all right. It doesn't sound too bad to me. How long will we be gone?"
"About a year."
"What!? A year?"
Poof!(or whatever sound the ninja smoke makes)
"Yo."
(evil cackling) Ha! cliffhanger! (sorta)
Well? What do we think? Questions? Comments?
Anyway, see ya.
