#21 - Silence

It was one of those nights they didn’t spend away exploring each others’ bodies with their lips; it was one of those nights they spent away pressing their bodies so, so, extremely close, words non-existent to fully describe those moments.

#22 - Journey

She heard Nanoha-san say once that ‘the journey is the reward’, she had never heard anyone else on Midchilda repeating this unusual and ambiguous quote; but she had to agree it being true, lacing her fingers with Tia’s as they walked freely to their undecided destination.

#23 - Fire

It was one of those rare missions that had both of them enlisted, to guard and eliminate any threat at an understaffed base located in a forest; and it was during those times did they manage to get the best sleep in a while, cuddling comfortably with a fading fire in front of them.

#24 - Strength

Both are individually immensely strong, but that doesn’t stop them from teaming up at every opportunity for four years straight – despite protests from Tia’s mouth.

#25 - Mask

In public - a small kiss on Tia’s cheek would turn the woman into a scarlet soma, snapping and snarling at a shaking Subaru; the façade would break down when in the bedroom, and the latter is happy to keep that a secret.

#26 - Ice

Tia sprained her foot again, and she was still stubborn as ever that she ignored the injury; but she could never hide things from Subaru – because she’s a horrible liar and her mind can be easily read by her – that she found herself strapped to a bed with a giant icepack on the offended foot, and sulking.

#27 - Fall

Subaru leapt off the airplane with the intention to free fall but with an act of tripping over her own feet, Tia soon followed after her, soared underneath her, picked her up and held her as they safely flew across the sky, the latter berating the former for ‘doing such rash things at the most inappropriate times’ – I wanted a hug, Subaru had smiled.

#28 - Forgotten

It was until their seventh year of being together as a couple, that Tia began to forget that they were in public at times and pulled Subaru toward her for an open embrace.

#29 - Dance

Subaru pressed the button on the side of the elevator and waited, soon the door opened up and – she felt her jaw hit the floor – revealed Tia dancing energetically to music on her mp3 (her 25th birthday present from Nanoha-san), it took about a minute for the woman to realise she was being watched and Subaru almost busted a vein trying to hold her laughter in – she was still throttled though; some things never change.

#30 - Body

She caught Tia dancing again (she had supposedly thought she was alone in their temporary room) and Subaru had to wonder as she observed from the front gaping door, of how different she moved compared to before – it was almost sexy – Tia slid her hands down her slow shaking hips – no, it’s definitely sexy, Subaru thought as she closed the door behind her; they had a busy night.
