Chapter 4

Voiceover

The vampires are unique much like the Rage infected. They kill or in the vampires’ case feed on anyone who isn’t infected and disregard their own. The first time I came across a vampire, was a week after the evacuation, it was a few minutes before dawn. I was out searching for survivors when a single one, really small probably a child tackled him. I was trying to get it off of me. I shot it in the shoulder with a bullet containing garlic…yes Garlic; it instantly went into anaphylactic shock. A minute later the sun rose and charred the vampire. They can be killed in conventional ways but also I used silver on one. The infected people with the vampire virus share characteristics with the fictional vampires from the movie.

That’s how I learned their weaknesses.
