"Let's meet again, in the next life."
He descended toward the body underneath him to capture the swollen, plump lips of the other with his own. His hot, swift hands did their workings as they caressed every part of the smaller Nobody's body while stripping him a very, very frustrating barrier. Drunken in ecstasy, his face unwillingly pulled away from the blond's and his hands fumbled with the zipper. He finally succeeded in pulling it down and threw the offending article of clothing to the floor. The redhead ravaged the keyblade wielder's neck and savored the vibrations of the skin from the sounds coming from the blond's throat. He felt small hands - compared to his anyway - entangle themselves in his hair and tug lightly. He continued his ministration until he completely branded the boy's neck. Possessiveness was one of his more...unfortunate qualities, for a lack of a better word.
Nobodies weren't meant to make bonds.
Butterfly kisses were placed on the chest of XIII, even more moans flooding VIII's ears. The Flurry of Dancing Flames gave a victorious smirk from the writhing body underneath him. He forced himself to pull away from the fragile body and pull off those goddamn pants that always got in the fucking way. It was too much trouble to pull them off without damaging it, so a rip sound was heard in the room. Boxers were pulled down to reveal a painfully erect length. Precum had already formed there, and he lapped it up like a good dog would. His tongue and mouth did quick work, licking and sucking while the Key of Destiny was simply drunk on pleasure.
Roxas soon came with a long moan and shudder, Axel swallowing while imprinting the flavor in his mouth. He looked up to the younger one, licking his lips as he saw such an erotic expression on the other's face. The fire-user kissed up to his lips and was granted entrance. Roxas feels the other's tongue in his mouth and he could taste himself - salty. He wonders if this is weird.
He notices Axel seems more desperate, he is being rougher and more passionate than before, but Roxas doesn't mind. He was simply blanketed by a haze of lust and ecstasy. He begins to regret the decision he had made, but he knows it's too late to go back.
Axel stands in one of the multiple dark alleyways of the World That Never Was. Rain was a custom in this world, but strangely it wasn't raining tonight. Somehow, it seemed more depressing then it usually was. He leaned against the wall and crossed his arms, eyebrows furrowed together as he clenched his teeth. He grasps his arms harder than it should, but the remembering fragment of pain didn't appear as it appropriately should have.
The blond he expected to come down this way appears, walking as though he couldn't be stopped. Axel looked toward the floor, wondering if he would say anything. When he realized the awkward silence was going to linger, he spoke first.
"So this is how it's going to be, huh?" A bittersweet smile appeared on his face.
Roxas froze.
"I have to go," Roxas offers as a meek reply before continuing, "Besides, no one would miss me."
He started to walk off.
Axel, beginning to grow desperate, reaches out from the bottom of his non-existant heart and cries out, "You're wrong! I would..." His voice trails off when he realizes the other wasn't going to listen and continue to walk away from whatever 'bonds' he had made with the Organization.
Axel realizes that the memories that he himself had cherished before, he doesn't want to remember anymore.
The Flurry of Dancing Flames is half relieved and half angry to find his ex-lover/best friend in the virtual Twilight Town. He is astounded that he still remembered his fighting techniques and clapped for him, as if to mock him. The figure before him gives a cautious look as if he didn't know him as he stepped toward the smaller one. He takes off his head, under the impression that it would make him remember. The other gave him a confused look as he introduced himself.
A fragment of pain appears in his chest area, and he curses his mind for not being able to control his memories. Axel quickly thinks of something witty to say back to him, and he comes up with nothing.
"Talk about blank with a capital B."
He mentally slaps his forehead for coming up with something so stupid. He observes the look on the other's face and quickly summons his chakrams, prepared to fight, best friend or not. A disruption occurs with he appears and he is furious, but he thanks the Heavens for stopping the fight between them. Soon he realizes Roxas had a choice, and he cries out with whatever he has left of his memories of emotions.
"Roxas!"
He sees the agonized look on the other's face and disappears as Roxas calls out other people's names, ones who he had before joining the Organization.
No, it didn't hurt at all. Feelings just came from the mind. Yeah, that was it.
They meet again in the basement of his and Axel is determined to finish his job. He is reluctant to follow his orders, but he knows it is for the good of the Organization. He is furious because he is fed up with being infatuated with the Nobody, and the flames show his fury. He summons his chakrams and they begin to fight.
The fight was fierce and strangely, full of remembered emotions. They both fight to the death and forget about whatever they had before. It strangely doesn't hurt as much as it did the first time.
Axel slumps down after being exhausted in the battle. He resists the urge to let out a bitter laugh because he refuses to believe what his instincts told him.
"Axel..."
That brought back some hope in him, but he gives Roxas a sad smile as he disappears into the darkness because somehow, he knew this would be the last time he would see him.
Axel lies on the 'ground' of whatever was between the portals of darkness. He is content because he now doesn't have to deal with the painful memories. He knows that if he had a heart, it would've disappeared along with Roxas when he had left. But he also knows that if he had a heart, it would've belonged to Roxas and only Roxas.
"My whole being...just wouldn't be in it, ya know."
He laughs at the irony of this statement because he knew Nobodies didn't truly have an existance. He looks toward Sora, Roxas's somebody. He stared into the deep pools of blue that reminded him of his dear Roxas. He is half tempted to kiss his lips, but he knows Sora is Sora and can never truly be Roxas. He knows Roxas is content and he wouldn't want to use Sora for his illusions he held so close to him.
Axel closes his eyes and let's himself fade away. Maybe he and Roxas just weren't made for happiness.
"Yeah, I'll be waiting."
