A/N: so I got some nice reviews and so I shall update 2nd chap xD

:0000000:

As Hwoarang stepped in the principles office he thought to himself ’what kind of trouble am I in? I haven’t even done anything……..well at least not yet anyways’ He opened the door and met up with the principle. Now she was a very nice lady who had long green hair, tanned skin, and turquoise eyes.

“Ah Hwoarang just the person I wanted to see. Please take a seat.”

“Okay first I want to say that whatever it is or what ever it was it wasn’t me okay Ms. Kibiraya because I haven’t done any-” Hwoarang was cut off by a giggle. “Oh no Hwoarang you’re not in trouble this time. The reason I called for you was that I’m moving you up to another group.” Hwoarang was surprised “Moving…..me…..up?” surely he was confused. “Yes moving you to another group. Now I know you may be frustrated with me moving you from place to place but every time we test you your scores seem to be surprisingly high for a 5 year old.” The principle had gone through Hwoarang’s records. He had an IQ of an 18 year old. Well at least that should be the average of a smart 18 year old. “You see we’ll be moving you up to another advanced class and I promise this will be the last switching ever done okay?” She smiled at him and he just nodded.

Hwoarang still had that one sentence repeating in his head over and over again. ‘Last switching ever done’
Yeah right, I highly doubt that.’ the redhead was somewhat happy actually. Now that he was switching classes again, Hachi won’t be bothering him anymore. Or at least that’s what he thought.

“So ready to meet your new class mates?” Ms. Kibiraya asked as she opened the door. Hwoarang nervously got up from the chair and looked at the principle. “I guess.” The redhead really wished he was just a regular kid like any other. But no he had to be this smart. Who the hell ever heard of a freaking 5 year old being in 5th grade?!

“Excellent. Now let us go to your new class” She sounded really exited for some odd reason. The only one who should be exited was Hwoarang but he wasn’t so that was awkward. So off they went for the new class that awaited Hwoarang.

:0000000:

As the math teacher wrote on the chalk board, some people were throwing paper balls across the room. Whenever the teacher turned around the paper balls would stop for a brief moment. Then it started again when the teacher would turn back and keep on writing some math problems on the board. A raven haired boy stared outside the window dozing off. He usually wondered a lot about thing such as ’I wonder if dad comes home today’ or ’I wonder if I’ll ever see that redhead again.’ Actually ever since that incident at the park Jin kept thinking about the redhead. He wanted to know his name so he can apologize to him. Even though it’s Hachi who should be apologizing to the poor boy. Jin Kazama was a ‘Rich Kid’ and normally rich kids should be happy and stuff but Jin was actually sad and depressed most of the time. Money can’t by happiness or love.

Before Jin could doze off more the door had opened to reveal the principle and a familiar redhead. Jin couldn’t believe it. The same redhead from the park was in the same school as he was.

The paper balls stopped flying across the room for the kids didn’t want to get in trouble with the principle. Hwoarang stood in the front of the class cheeks slightly flushed. The principle was talking to the teacher for a few minutes. The redhead just stood there with his hands on his sides. His hands curled up in a fist like shape. Finally the principle had mumbled a few words to Hwoarang and left.

The math teacher, Ms. Akimichi had said that he is a new class mate and for everyone to be nice to him. She had told Hwoarang to introduce himself to the class.

“Umm…….good morning my name is Hwoarang. Nice to meet you all. I’m from Korea and I moved here with my father.” Hwoarang got really nervous. I mean come on he was talking to a bunch of older people. He was only five years old. Within a few months he would turn six. He made a decision that 10 and 11 year olds were scary.

Jin finally discovered the redhead’s name ’Hwoarang’ that was probably the unique name he had ever heard. After Hwoarang had introduced himself some of the student’s had questions. “How old are you?” one of the girls had asked. She had a curious expression in her face. “I’m 5 years old.” When Hwoarang said this the whole class had laughed and some had their jaws dropped. “How did a little kid like you passed all those other grades?” one of the older guys said. They were really shocked ,the fact Hwoarang is in 5th grade and only 5 years old was really awkward and weird. “Well now let’s get back to our lesson here kids. We have a lot of math problems to cover so Hwoarang why don’t you take an empty seat and catch up on our lesson. Lets see now where can we seat you……………..ah take a seat right in front of Jin. Jin raise your hand so Hwoarang can see you.”

Jin gladly put up his hand so the young Korean boy can come over. Hwoarang slowly walked towards the older boy. When he reached his seat the young redhead noticed that the boy that was raising his hand was the same guy who was playing baseball in the park yesterday. ‘I didn’t think I would run into him again. This is surely ironic’ leaving the thought for later Hwoarang sat in his seat and took out his notebook and his pencil. Jin wrote on a piece of paper and threw it over Hwoarang’s shoulder. The young Korean boy was somewhat confused ‘I only came here a few seconds ago and already I’m getting stupid notes’ he thought to himself, with a sight the redhead slowly opened the piece of paper and read

“Hi not sure if you remember me but sorry about yesterday Hachi is always like that so sorry that he pushed you to the floor .” Hwoarang was surly now confused why would Hachi’s friend apologize? it was Hachi who’s suppose to do that not this guy. With slight anger the redhead wrote on the paper and threw it over his shoulder. Jin quickly opened it up and read:

“I don’t get it. Why are YOU apologizing when it’s Hachi who is supposed to do that. Thank you though you’re very kind .” with a small smile creeping up Jin’s lips he paid attention to the teacher. ‘Okay were starting off with a fresh start. Seems exciting now.’

:0000000:

Math class was over. So as quickly as possible Hwoarang gathered his stuff and ran out the room. Jin on the other hand he liked to take his time to gather his tuff. He would say there’s no reason for me to hurry what’s there to rush for? But only this time he wanted to hurry a little just so he could talk to the young boy. Get to know him.

Hwoarang was walking down the halls when suddenly he saw Hachi coming. “Hey Hwoarang heard you’re in a different class. How was it?” The smaller boy froze for a while. ‘How in the hell did he find out? Looks like these things have a way of getting out huh’ Hwoarang just walked passed Hachi ignoring him and walking towards his locker.

“Hello I’m talking to you. You can’t just walk away from me.” The older boy sounded a little scary considering that he was getting mad.

“Well I just did. Besides what happened in my class is none of your business.” the Korean boy responded back and opened up his locker when he got to it. Inside he had his books and a picture of Beak and Hwoarang together in the park. Hachi was standing right behind the smaller boy. This really wasn’t going to turn out so good. As the redhead closed his locker, Hachi grabbed the younger boy’s arm and spun him around so he could face him. “Oww, what the hell are you doing

Hachi ?.” The older boy had pinned Hwoarang’s hands to his sides.

Surely Hwoarang was scared now. Hachi would joke around a lot but this time he sounded really serious. Then Hachi did the unthinkable he let go of one of his hand and he was gently stroking Hwoarang’s cheek, by now his cheeks were brightly colored.

“For some pathetic reason I’m attracted to you. I don’t know how I came up with this result but I’m just as surprised as you are.” Hachi was not joking this time and he looked very serious.

“………….W-what did you say? Wait is this some kind of joke if it is its not funny Hachi. Now let me go so I can go to lunch.” Surprisingly Hachi did what Hwoarang asked him to do. With both having confused looks on their face’s they both walked away not saying nothing to one another.

Later out in the yard everyone was either playing or just sitting in the grass talking or drawing. The yard wasn’t too shabby. There were trees that now have lost their leaves to the cold. Everyone wearing sweaters or jackets. Scarf’s, hats, gloves. Hwaorang sat against a tree and was drawing in his sketchbook. He really liked to draw. He would just draw on the paper on what his mind would set on. He wonders a lot which he surely was good at. He was wondering of that time when he asked Beak if his mother was ever going to come back.

::Flash Back::

“Hey papa when is my mother coming back?” a small redheaded boy was seated on an older mans lap. “Soon my boy, she will come back soon.”

A warm sunny day, around the spring, a woman had walked in the dojo with a baby in her arms. “Excuse me, is anyone here?” She stood there for awhile but a minute after an old but still young man had walked out of the back room. “Ah, Ayune what brings you here?”
“I’m sorry for calling you out this early Beak-san but I need your help.” The woman was very pretty. She had long red hair and dark brown eyes. She wore a purple dress with Sakura flowers in it. “What’s the problem my dear?” Beak had treaded Ayune as a daughter. He was kind to her. He didn’t really have a wife, or a family. He was alone and all he had was his dojo and Ayune.

“Well I need you to do me a favor Beak sensei. I need you to watch over my son for me. Just until I get back from a short vacation.”

“How long are you going to be gone?”

There was silence. It was very awkward. She just asked him to watch over a kid out of the blue. She was up to something.
“Not very long but could you watch over him?” She had a really soft tone in her voice. “Very well then. What’s his name?” Beak looked over the small baby that was being handed to him. The small child looked peacefully while he was sleeping. “His name is Hwoarang and he was born a few weeks ago Sensei.”

“This child looks exactly like you.” The baby was wrapped up in a light blue blanket. Beak was staring at the child before him. He immediately new how this boy was going to turn out.

“I hope you take good care of him sensei. Good bye.”

“Your not coming back, are you?” She didn’t answer Beak’s question so instead she walked away. Slowly.

“Ai shiteru Hwoarang-kun.”. She whispered to herself and silently, she left.

::End of Flashback::

Hwoarang just didn’t understand why his mother hasn‘t come back yet. “Maybe she doesn’t want to see me or she just doesn’t love me” he whispered to himself.

The winds suddenly changed. It kind of got a little colder but it didn’t matter to the redhead. He sight and just went back to his drawing. He was drawing the whole scene. Girl’s playing jump rope and chatting while they were at it. Some how Hwoarang never thought of girls. He imagined them to be annoying and nosy. He would never date a girl that’s snobby. It really wasn’t his type. He was looking around to see how many people were out in the yard. While his searching he noticed that the same guy that apologized to him earlier was sitting in a table and was reading a book. Hwoarang just smiled and turned back to his drawing.

:0000000:

Jin found himself sitting in a table where he read his book peacefully. The book was about some family who was murdered by a Psycho guy who carried a doll with him. It was interesting but Jin figured he should take a break. As soon as he put his book down he immediately spotted the redheaded boy. Jin was surprised to find the redhead quick. The raven haired boy stood up and started walking towards the young boy.

It took a few minutes for Hwoarang to notice that someone was blocking his view. When he looked up he saw it was the same guy as before. The one who was apologizing for Hachi. “Hey you what’s up? I didn’t think I’d see you until later.” Jin had put a grin on to show he was happy to see the young redhead again. “Hi I thought so too. So…….um……..what’s up?” “Well nothing much. Mind if I sit next to you?” Jin had one thought stuck in his mind. He was mostly wondering if he was able to be friends with the younger boy. “Sure…….I mean, if you want to.”

By then Jin and Hwoarang were sitting together and getting to know each other. “So you’re from Korean huh? That’s really nice.” Jin really did find the Korean to be interesting I mean come on he’s only 5 and he’s in 5th grade. “Yeah I live with my father and he’s a really cool guy if you get to know him.”

“I’m sure he is. I would like to meet him some time.” Hwoarang couldn’t help but admire this guy. ‘He’s really a good person and he doesn’t seem really bad or anything’ he thought to himself. “I wish there were more people like you Jin. You’re a great guy and I really like the fact that you’re being nice to me. Not many kids are this nice to me.” Jin stared at the young boy who was now looking at his shoes. “Don’t worry about other people Hwoarang. You have me as a friend and that’s good enough right?” He gave the redhead a reassuring smile. Hwoarang couldn’t believe him. He actually considered himself as a friend. He stared at the older boy for a few minutes until he felt his cheeks go warm.

“I…” the redhead had a hard time to talk. His throat hurt. “I… thank you Jin.” The redhead said while looking down at his sketch book. “You’re the first person who I ever made friends with.” Jin looked at the redhead. “Hey it’s no problem. I’m just glad I’m getting to know you better.” Both boys smiled at each other.

Before they can talk anymore the bell had rung telling everyone that they had to go back inside. “Well I guess we should head inside. Come on before the teachers start screaming at us.” Jin held out his hand towards Hwoarang. “Thank You Jin.” So with that they went back inside so they can start their last classes for the day.

:0000000:

It was the end of the day now. The kids were running out of the school. Hwoarang was by his locker taking the books he needed to do his homework with. After he was done he walked out the school and headed towards home, where his loving father waited. Jin noticed that the young redhead was walking alone. He ran up to the Korean boy. “Hey Hwoarang. Mind if I walk with you?” Jin asked, “Sure, I mean if you want to” The young redhead said while smiling nervously. “Is that your punch line? ‘If you want to’” Jin asked jokingly. “I’m sorry it’s just that I’m not really use to talking to someone.” The redhead scratched his head.

Jin laughed a little, “Hey don’t worry, those days are over okay?” He smiled and hooked an arm around the redhead’s neck. Hwoarang was blushing a deep red and felt faint. “So where do you live?” Hwoarang thought about that question for a while. Trying to figure out a good response to give. “Well…umm………I live with my father………in a dojo.” Jin let go of his grip from the boy’s neck. “Really? wow that’s really cool. Living in a dojo would be great.” Hwoarang looked at Jin. Surprised, he realized how tall the older boy was. Compared to him he was really short maybe just a few inches short. Without realization Hwoarang had asked a question. “How old are you Jin?”

“Hmm…..well I’m ten. My birthday’s in December.” Hwoarang was slightly flushed. He was 5 years older than Hwoarang! “Oh wow that’s awesome.” Jin pat the younger boy’s head. “How old are you?” Jin asked the redhead, “I’m 5 and I think my birthday’s in May.” Hwoarang thought. He didn’t really care when his birthday was. Celebrating it was just lame for him. It just simple meant he was older. “That’s cool?” Both boys laughed and stayed quiet for a moment.

“So tomorrow we’re gonna have lunch together and we’re gonna hang out okay?” Jin said while yet again hooking an arm around the redhead’s neck. “Okay!” Hwoarang smiled and hugged the older boy by the waist. “Thanks Jin.” He smiled and so did the Japanese boy. “Well I go this way, see ya tomorrow Jin” the Korean boy shouted as he ran towards the other direction. “See ya Hwoarang.” Jin smiled and as he too went the opposite direction.

:0000000:

When Hwoarang got home he was about to shout to his papa telling him that he was home. But before he did anything he covered his mouth. The last time he shouted Beak was teaching a class and the young redhead was embarrassed. He didn’t want the people to think that Beak had a disrespectful child. So he promised he never shout out again.

Once Hwoarang had told Beak that he had made a friend he was really happy for the boy. “Good things happen to good people. You’ve made a friend and I’m happy for you.” The older man hugged the boy and kissed him in the forehead. Ever since that woman had left Hwoarang behind, he had treated the young boy as his own son. He really loved him and promised himself he wouldn’t let the young boy ever get hurt.

“So papa can we practice our fighting skills now that I’m home?” the boy sounded happy. He really enjoyed fighting especially if he get to spar with Beak. Which is rare due to the fact that he was always busy doing something. “Of course my son. Now let us train.” So with that they started getting ready and off they were to train.

:0000000:

Jin was home and he was in his bed in his room. He was thinking about one thing. The redheaded boy. He wondered what he was doing and was glad he was getting to know him. “I can’t wait till I see him tomorrow. He seems really cute.” Jin thought of the boy ever since he laid eyes on him. He was looking up at the sealing and let his thoughts wonder. A few minutes later he closed his eyes. Silently he went to sleep.
