Hi again people. Welcome to Forks High. The third 'book' in my Forks series thing. Sorry for the shortness of this chapter, i'll try and make the others longer. I just wanted to get this one up tonight. I'll update as soon as i can, hopefully tonight or tomorrow.
Disclaimer for whole story: If i owned it i'd be on a vacation somewhere nice. Not writing fanfiction.
Chapter 1: E-mail, Spanish, and Bella
I sighed, logging off my e-mail. It had been days and I had only one e-mail from Bella. That wasn’t like her. At least two or three maybe, but not one.
It had been four years since sixth grade, when Bella left. Alice and I were now Juniors in high school.
There had been talk around about a new girl, supposedly a hottie. But I hadn’t gone out with anyone since Bella. Emmett thinks I need to play the field, and Alice thinks it’s sweet.
I walked out of my room and downstairs to the kitchen table. Mom had set it up with toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, French Toast and a million other good breakfast foods.
I downed a glass of Orange Juice and grabbed two pieces of toast.
Alice and Emmett had already left with Rose and Jasper, in Rose’s new M3.
I kissed Mom’s cheek.
“Bye.” I called to her, grabbing my book bag.
“Bye honey, have a good day!”
I walked outside and got into my Volvo, turning on the heater. It was freezing for the beginning of November.
The ride to school was quick, and I parked near a giant oak that separated the Elementary school from the High school. I could see three little kids underneath. Two girls and a boy. (A/N: remind anybody of anything?)
I walked to my locker and grabbed my books.
“Hey Eddie.” I slammed my locker shut.
“Good morning Jessica.” I muttered, heading off to Spanish.
Tallie began ignoring me once I detached myself from the world, but Jessica began following me around ever since we got back from summer vacation.
I walked into the classroom and sat in the back. Our teacher was a little bit eccentric. I wouldn’t be surprised if she turned out to have been a cheer leader in high school. (A/N: Nothing against of my good friends is a cheerleader and she's totally enthusiastic.)
“Buenos Diaz clase.” She greeted, smiling widely, like she knew some awesome secret. Whatever, teachers aren’t supposed to have lives outside of school. It’s just freaky when you see them. You know what I mean?
“Hola.” The class repeated, dully. What can I say, it’s Monday.
“Let’s say that ag---” She was interrupted by the door opening. A girl who looked to be 5”4’ walked in and handed the teacher a white slip. Why did this girl seem so familiar?
I saw Alice smiling widely. Ok, now I knew something was up.
“Hmmm, a new student?” Our teacher smiled, oh yeah her name’s Señora Gabi, and signed the new girl’s slip.
“Well, introduce yourself.” The new girls turned to face the classroom.
“Well um…” This girl was so familiar… No, it couldn’t be. Her eyes locked with mine, widening.
“Um… I’m Bella Swan. And um.. I just moved here from Arizona… and um… I used to live here a while ago….” She finished awkwardly. Yup, this was defiantly Bella. Only, an older and certainly more beautiful version.
“Welcome, Señorita Swan. You can sit next to Señor Cullen.” Wait, Bella was going to be sitting next to me? Yes!
She walked over clumsily and sat in the desk. Nearly all the students turned to look at her. Some of them recognized her. Plenty of them were whispering.
Señora Gabi turned to the white board, writing down some stuff. I turned to Bella, almost smiling. I hadn’t smiled in so long. I hoped I wasn’t dreaming.
“Bella? Are you really back?” She smiled at me. Her teeth were strait and a pretty white.
“Yeah. I’m giving Renée time to be with her new husband, Jerry. So I’m living with Charlie till I graduate.” I felt myself smile for real. Alice looked back and seemed shocked.
“Welcome back.” I murmured. My heart was jumping for joy.
