Ok, thanks for the review, Here’s the next story.
Review: Young 16 year-old Kenji “the dragon” Ryu, an underground fighting champion and Master Kick boxer, has embarked on his most dangerous challenge yet and find the fate of the world resting in his hands.
--
Kenji watched the figures clad in red circle him and the others, Jax stood back-to-back with John.
“What the hell you waiting for?” John said and he pulled off his hoodie.
Kenji pulled his hoodie off and threw it aside.
“Maybe he’s hoping we’ll die of old age.” Kenji commented.
John laughed. “Hey, yellow ranger, do you mind telling me your name, so I can put on your grave.”
The yellow figure posed, ready to fight. “The names Cyrax, remember it, for it will be the last name you ever hear.”
Jax finally said. “I got this yellow freak.”
Cyrax looked over at Jax. “Lieutenant Brigdes, It’s been awhile.”
Jax nodded. “Yeah, I thought Sonya roasted your ass?”
Cyrax made what sounded like a laughing sound. “Yes, you did beat me then, but you should have made sure I was dead.” He pointed a finger at them. “Now you and your friends are going to pay for what you did.”
Jax shrugged. “Have it your way.” He charged.
The figures in red surrounded Kenji and John. They bother looked back at each other, nodded, then moved forward, swinging and kicking at the figures,.
Kenji dodged an attack after knocking out two of the figures, he looked over to see John had already downed a dozen of them. Kenji noticed how much John had changed, a minute ago he was joking and careless, but now while he was fighting, it was as if he was a whole different person, he was focused and ready to fight, not like the John Kenji met a few hours ago.
“Hey, watch out!” It was John.
Kenji turned to notice that a large crate of cargo had been unhinged by one of the figures and was sliding towards him at devastating speeds.
Kenji barely dodged the massive crate, but the crate did take out about two dozen of the figures. Just then Kenji got an idea.
“John, watch out for the crates!” Kenji declared.
John gave him a confused look, but then got the idea and nodded.
Kenji smiled, Jax was fighting Cyrax around the crates, so he didn’t need to worry.
Kenji bolted towards the front, evading the figures and slowly making his way to the crates.
When he finally made it, he realized he had no idea what to do, He looked frantically, knocking out the figures while he did, for someway for his plan to work.
Then he saw it.
Barely bigger than Kenji’s fist, was a latch connected to the chain that held the crates in place.
Kenji gripped the latch and pulled, it was tighter than he though, it took all his strength, but he still couldn’t get the latch up.
Kenji was about give up when he saw Jax and remembered something he said.
“Takes what I’ve got and doubles the muscle capacity.”
“Jax, I need your help!” Kenji dodged a punch and threw the attacker face first into the crate.
Jax turned and noticed Kenji was talking about the latch, it took him a awhile to realize what Kenji was doing.
“Hold on!” Jax dodged a hard right. “I’m kind of busy.”
Cyrax took advantage of this distraction and grabbed Jax by the collar and threw him into a nearby wall, Jax fell to the ground, dazed.
Kenji watched all this, Cyrax turned to him and grabbed his arm and swung him back in the middle of the dock.
John was dodging blows and dishing out punches and kicks, he didn’t notice Kenji crawling to his feet.
Kenji cracked his neck as Cyrax jumped over the crate.
“Are you ready to die?” Cyrax asked.
Kenji wiped the blood off from his mouth. “Bring it!”
Cyrax started by swinging a hard right to his jaw. Kenji dodged, his left leg swept forward trying to trip Cyrax.
Cyrax fell to the ground with a thud.
Kenji rose to his feet. “This is gonna be fun!”
Cyrax jumped back to his feet, he pulled a small metal rod.
“What is that, a light sabers?” Kenji said.
Cryax pressed a button on the rod and out of the top shot out a long beam of energy, much like a blade.
Kenji gulped. “I hate being right.”
Cyrax swung the blade, it hit the floor, sparks flew everywhere.
Kenji kneed Cyrax in the face, the robot flew back and slammed into the wall.
Kenji started to tense up, showing every muscle in his body as he frantically jumped around.
“Now I’m getting pumped!” He declared.
Cyrax quickly jumped to his feet. “You’ll never beat me that easily.”
Kenji laughed. “Finally a challenge.”
Cyrax charged, saber pointing a Kenji.
Kenji dodged the light green blade and delivered a powerful back kick to Cyrax’s head. The robot went flying towards the now opened hangar door.
Kenji watched Cyrax fall off the ship and disappeared.
Kenji laughed. “Too easy.”
“Everybody hold on!” Jax came about, a large cut on his temple was drizzling blood and covered his left eye.
Kenji felt himself begin to rise in the air. ‘We’re descending.’
John soon got the idea and grabbed onto a bar beside him.
Kenji was stuck in the middle, the latches of the crates snapped and sent the large metal boxes straight at Kenji.
“Damn!” Kenji declared as he twisted and turned to dodge the large objects.
The crates soon began to thin out and Kenji was on one knee, holding on to a chain connected to a small latch in front of him.
The ship hit with a thud, Kenji and John were sent flying forward. Jax stood in front of them.
Kenji rose to his feet and helped John up.
John looked over at Jax. “That was fun!”
A smiled spread across Jax face. “Well, we’re in Red Dragon territory.” He looked over at Kenji. “Let’s go try and see if we can find some food from the supply crate.”
As soon as he said that, a figure jumped into the hangar. His mask was a bit dented but that was all. His body, however, didn’t look good, bits and pieces were missing, exposing the robots metal parts.
“I, Cyrax, challenge you to Mortal Kombat!” He declared.
Jax stepped forward. “Alright.”
Cryax shook his head. “Not you.” He pointed towards Kenji. “Him!”
