Pairing: Zack Addy x John Hodgins/Zack Addy x Sweets (Yes, I for some reason think Sweets would be cute with Zack too.)

AGES: I kind of made Sweets a bit older... i dont know.. like 25.. I don't know their real ages, except sweets... so i'll make Zack 23 and Hodgins 27 That's how old they look to me.

Ecstasy

Chapter 1- Confusion is Ecstasy

"I don't think that's what she meant." Angela spoke with her eyebrow rose. Bones took a look over at her answerer and the question had been; Cam had asked if Bone's water was working. Bones, taking it not so seriously stated, "Of course my water's working, I paid the bills."

Angela shook her head and took a sip from her bottled water; just as Zack made his way into the room quietly. No one took notice of him though, as he took a cup of soup from the fridge.

"Hey quit confusing Bones, guys. She's already slow enough."

"Booth!" Bones looked at him with an annoyed look in her eyes.

"Haha, lunch is so interesting here." Sweets spoke, following in behind Booth.

"Sweets? Back again?" Angela asked with some annoyance in her voice.

"Booth asked me to come." He answered with all heads turning away from him. He knew he wasn't wanted there, but it was his job to help Dr. Brennen and Booth's friendship stay strong. Even if, there were a little side cases he could help with. He got paid for fixing their problems like any other therapist. Though, everyone thought he was just a nuisence.

"Booth... Can I have a moment with you?" Cam asked dragging him from the room. Everyone else except Zack and Sweets, followed them out of the room.

Silence filled the room between the two, until the loud beep of the microwave went off, letting them know the soup was finished. Zack took it from the microwave and sat down to read and have his cup of soup.

Sweets could tell from a look that he was a very talkative guy when he wanted to be, but for some reason he was completely silent. Though, he did seem like the naturally silent type.

Placing his hand on the table next to him, Zack's eyes turned to the hand being placed next to him.

"Oh, Dr.Sweets. What is it?" No Annoyance.

"Thought I'd start conversation. How's the case?"

"Oh! It's going kind of rough, but we always figure it out one way or another. We found three bodies so far, but I, and Dr. Saroyan, both suspect there are at least two more somewhere. We haven't discussed this with Booth or Dr. Brennen yet, but we have the intentions of it soon. I don't think I should be discussing this with you though." Zack finally finished. Sweets mouth parted barely, to respond, but nothing came out, as he could barely understand the other. Zack could tell he didn't understand, so he went back to his book.

"That's great." He replied, hoping. Zack only continued to read his book though. Who knew what it was about; probably something on his carreer.

"Takes a while."

"Hmm?"

"This case. Will take a while." He put simply. Half embarressed for speaking off like that.

"Yeah, I could imagine with Gormagon being such a genious and all."

"Don't boost his ego!" Zack practically shouted as if Gormagon was actually in the room with them.

Was he?

"Uh-Huh..."

"What?" Zack asked, seeing he was giving him that 'I know everything' kind of look he gave to Booth and Dr.Brennen. "Did I say something funny?"

"No."

"You're giving me that look."

"What look?"

"...That look when you've figured something out." Zack pointed out, taking a sip of his soup.

"Didn't know I had a look." Sweets spoke, taking the cup from him and throwing it in the trash.

"W-Wait... What was that?"

"Angry?"

"No." Sweets smiled and walked out of the room, leaving the poor kid confused.

I'm sorry if anyone is OOC, I did try to keep them in character, but I just started watching Bones again from the third season since Zack is so adorable! Anyway, review if you want.
