Writer’s Notes: This idea just landed in my head but I have no idea where it blasted off. Anyways, thanks a lot for your reviews on my previous story, Fuyu Seppun Winter Kiss. I have a target for the number of reviews for this story but I’m not sure whether I’ll reach it or not. Either way, I’m just happy to receive reviews but it saddens me whenever I can’t reach my goal target.

A youthful female with chocolate hair and hazel eyes walked moderately in the crowded shopping district. She was clad with a uniform, one belonging to a school not found in the city. Her chocolate hair was neatly fixed into two braids, and giving off the final touch for her cute look, a matching newsboy-style cap.
Despite her cute appearance, she was utterly lacking knowledge of her way. One of her hands were dragging a stroller, making anyone infer that she’s new to the city.
She reached the park and sat down by one of the benches, looking at the city, perceiving its tall buildings. “What should I do now? Asking directions for a good old apartment is a good option but everyone here is practically used to the modern life.”
Sighing once more, she turned her eyes to her stroller. It was yellow and it had a tag of her name hanging on one of its locked zippers. Memories of her hometown returned to her mind.
Her old classmates were there, gathered as they waved and said their goodbyes.
“If I can’t find you on the news later, I’ll give you smack once you come back!”
“Be careful, okay?!”
“Good luck with the scholarship program!”
“See you soon, Mikan-chan!”
A lot more goodbyes were heard. Before the brunette left, she thanked them with tears and a smile. As the train closed its doors and set out, the brunette put her head out of the open windows and took one last look at their waving figures, her hair swaying with the motion of the vehicle.
When they were completely out of sight, she sat back calmly and muttered to herself, “I’ll see you later, guys.”
After much reminiscence, the brunette lazily leaned herself on the blue wooden public property. “Coming to Tokyo without any place to stay…how can I forget something so important?”
She stared back at the clear blue sky, thinking her future was long-over. Unable to accept such a thought, she stood up energetically and held her fist up in the air. “There’s no turning back! I’m Mikan Sakura! I will reach my goal!” she said with much determination. Without another word, she started to laugh maniacally, stirring up some trouble to herself.
“Oi, you’re in the way.” A cold voice uttered. The cheerful brunette turned her head, only to meet crimson orbs glaring at her. She faced the handsome lad before her, unafraid of his fierce look.
“If you keep on putting that expression, the sun will laugh at you. Getting so angry at such a beautiful day like this isn’t good for the body or yourself.” She said, giggling, unaware that she’s nagging the lad she had just encountered.
“Don’t you dare talk to Natsume-sama that rudely! You should know your place, you filthy little girl.” One of the boys behind the crimson-eyed lad said.
“What’s your problem? I thought I said that getting angry at a fine day like this will only make the sun laugh at you. Also tell me why I should bow down to someone who doesn’t seem to show any emotion at all?” Her tone became as irritated as they were.
Before her were a group of good-looking men clad in black-bad-boy apparel and there she stood alone. Number never bothered her since she has her own beliefs in life. Anybody could’ve mistaken she was being bullied by a gang or so, which, in reality, she was.
“You must have lived in a cave since you don’t know anything about Natsume-sama.” One of them said.
“I never lived in a cave and sure, I don’t know a single heck about this guy. I really don’t care. You’ve ruined my day far enough. Well then, the next time we meet, let’s have a fresh start. I’ll be g-”
Her stroller fell to the cemented ground before she was able to grab hold of it. A foot stepped on it, dirtying it. Her hazel orbs lifted to look at the one who just kicked her luggage.
“You’re the one who ruined my day, little girl.” The crimson-eyed boy spoke. The brunette just looked at him, knowing he has more to say.
“Call the police if you want to but plant this in your puny brain; I have power. You’ll regret the day you’ve ever met me.” He added coldly.
One of his guys stepped in. He had blonde hair and blue eyes, a look that can make any girl drop dead on the floor.
“Natsume is a direct descendant of the Hyuuga family who owns the Blaze Industries, the top leading company in Japan. He’s the son of the current president and he is the next heir. It’s only right that you lower your head before him. Do you understand now?”
Normally, those who don’t know him and got an introduction of him would bow down on their knees without a second thought. However, their expectations of her reaction disappeared. Mikan looked at them, not changing her view of them. She was unaffected by the introduction of the man who she got into a fight with. In fact, she merely set it aside.
“So what if he’s a powerful man? Do I look like I care about status? If you must know, I bow down my head to those who truly deserve it. I won’t bow my head to you because of power or position. If I were to gesture you a sign of respect, it’ll only be for your true self. From the way I’ve met you today, I don’t see any reason why I should lower my head to you. Hmph!” she clarified strongly.
Natsume strengthened his glare, obviously showing he was pissed off. He wanted to punch her but before he was able to do so, she was already leaving them quietly.
“This day can’t get any worse…” she thought annoyingly, heading towards who knows where.

“I was wide of the mark.” The unlucky girl thought as the heavy drops of rain soaked her in the streets. A car swooshed by, making the wet ground splash and soak her even more.
“HA-CHOO!!!” She sneezed as she wrapped her arms around her. “Where do I go now?”
She was fully aware that coming into a restaurant or any shop all soaked and wet would be rude and displeasing. Some customers might go away and the owner would probably kick her out.
She took her dirty stroller and strolled around, hoping to find a place where she could wait for the rain to stop. She perceived a small bar on the end of the avenue. It had shelter on its entrance and so without hesitation, she went there and waited for the skies to stop crying.
She sighed in relief but the sound of the entrance opening startled her. A bunch of thugs exited the bar with some ladies goggling over them. The one ahead of them seemed to be their leader, and unfortunately the one who spotted her.
“Hey there, chic…” he uttered, eyeing her carefully with his black orbs. “I forgot…this is a bar…”
“Wanna come and play with me? I have a soft, bouncy bed at my place.” He said maliciously, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.
“Sorry, but I have no time to deal with people such as you.” Mikan replied firmly with disgust as she shook his arm away. “I should’ve thought about this…taking shelter in front of a bar is a bad idea…”
“So you’re a feisty one, then…Don’t worry, I’ll be gentle. Now, let’s go!” Persistent as he is, he snaked his arm around her petite waist and began to drag her with him.
“Iie! Let me go, you filthy bastard!” She began struggling from his tight grasp but she was still a girl, meaning she’s weaker when it comes to strength. The rain had stopped but she continued to struggle free of his hold.
“Oi, boss, maybe you should let this one go. She’s cute, that I admit, but she’s irritating as well. We’re wasting our time.” One of the lads said.
“Why don’t you listen to one of your henchmen, you piece of crap…” the brunette cursed, still stressed under the guy’s hold.
“Ah, but when you catch a feisty one, it means you can control even the most stubborn of people. I wanna prove something to that Hyuuga Bug!” he replied confidently, laughing maniacally.
Mikan’s hazel orbs glared at him in disgust. “This jerk is worse than him!”
Suddenly, his grip loosened, giving her the opportunity to escape. She kicked him where it hurt and immediately ran from him. Some of his mates went over to him, assisting him.
“What the hell happened?” she thought, watching them until a precarious, dangerous aura filled the air. She felt chills run down her spine as the presence became familiar.
She slowly turned her head, only to find the same crimson orbs staring at her intensely. She gulped at the sight of her new enemy, Hyuuga Natsume. “He practically knocked that guy out…and…he did it so fast I didn’t see him do it…”
The girls flirting with the group came rushing to Natsume’s side but they were kicked and beaten up as well. Soon enough, everyone else aside from the crimson-eyed lad’s gang and Mikan were on the floor.
“Oi, little girl, you have to pay for that.” One of them said firmly. The brunette, however, stayed in her position. She wasn’t the type to follow orders and she can’t be easily frightened, well, unless it’s a ghost or a paranormal being.
Despite their minute threats, she smiled and bowed, thanking them, “Thanks!”
Silence enveloped the gang as she regained her jovial composure.
“If it wasn’t for you, I would’ve been harassed by those idiots. I’m sorry about my offensive attitude towards you earlier. You see, I just can’t stand pessimistic expressions when the sun was shining. I believe that the weather reflects your feelings so…that’s about it.”
She threw them an innocent, angelic smile. Natsume paid attention to her the most among his peers. “What’s up with this girl?” Before he knew it, she was in front of him, a meter close to be more accurate.
“You must be feeling better now that you’ve taken out all your anger on them. I’m grateful for that. Anyways, it seems you have some business to attend, considering you’re here to go into that bar. I’ll see you later!”
With that, she walked away, not uttering a single syllable. She hummed a tune as her figure went out of their sight.
“Natsume-sama, do you think that was okay? I mean, you only came here to-”
“Urusai.”

The brunette angel sat on one of the swings, looking down on the ground as she played with the swing at a snail's pace. “It seems I have to sleep outside until the scholarship program ends…”
She sighed unhappily, lifting her head to the starless sky. “Since Tokyo is an urban city, it’s only normal for me to see there are no stars at night. It’s my first day here yet I’m already homesick.”
A hand held her shoulder and being herself, she jolted up and screamed in fright. “AH!!! GHOST!!!”
She began running in circles, panicking as she waved her arms up and down repeatedly.
“Baka.” A firm, masculine voice uttered. The girl immediately stopped in her tracks, turning her head robotically to the voice’s source. “That sounded like…”
Upon turning her head, her hazel orbs met crimson ones – yet again. “You again?”
She looked at them confusedly. “Are they stalkers or something? Sheesh…”
“Since Natsume-sama helped you out yet you didn’t do anything about badmouthing him, you have a bill to pay.” The usual one, the lad with almost bald hair, explained.
“So this is what it’s about…Wait…what’re they going to do? Beat me up? Rape me? WAHH!!! I’m doomed either way!!! Ji-chan, I’ll be with you soon…this is my worst day ever…coming here was a terrible idea…” Again with her overreaction, she continued running around in circles with waterfalls forming in her eyes.
“This chic can’t be normal…” they all thought, sweatdropping at the panicking girl.
“Oi, Ichigo-kara, stop running around…and try wearing plain ones next time.” Mikan stopped at the ruby-eyed boy’s remark. Her cheeks immediately flushed in pink.
“HENTAI!!!” she yelled, holding down her skirt.
The blue-eyed boy was about to retort to protect his friend’s dignity but the movement of his peer prevented him from doing so. “Natsume?”
“Let’s call it a day for now, Ruka.” He replied emotionlessly, nearing the juvenile teen. He placed a smirk on his gorgeous face as he pointed his right index finger directly at the brunette.
“You…” he stated, not minding the brunette’s nervous expression. “…are staying at my place…”
