Spoils of War
Jamie Noble forcefully collects his bounty after his win over Chuck Palumbo. Chuchelle fic!
(Author’s note: this fic works under the assumption that everything in WWE is real, including the storylines and feuds. I know that they are NOT, so please don’t tell me what an idiot I am for believing and writing this. Thanks!)
The show was over. He had won. Beaten that motorcycle-riding freak, just like he had said he would! A smirk crossed his rat-like features as he remembered the ecstasy of hearing the three-count just a mere hour ago. Lying in his hotel room, Jamie Noble’s eyes narrowed with wickedness as he thought about his reward.
I told that girl, he thought. I told her that I’d beat ‘im, and that she would be mine. She didn’t believe me, but now…now she’ll see! She’s gonna be all mine…
Chuck Palumbo sat on a bench in the hotel’s weight room, trying to shake the feeling of that little weasel’s sleazy little body covering his.
How in the hell did I lose to that scrawny…
Sighing, the bike-building superstar tossed his sweat-soaked towel into a nearby basket and rose from his seat, his mind too busy to concentrate on his workout any further.
What bothered him most was that Michelle had told him that she found the dirty rodent on his bike. He had built that particular chopper for his brother Chris, who was almost completely healed from his injuries sustained in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the pipsqueak had tainted it with his grimy little paws.
That had really pissed him off.
Heading back to his room for a shower and sleep, he passed through the lobby, where he witnessed his manager and ‘friend’ bidding goodnight to a retreating Torrie Wilson and Kelly-Kelly. Sidling up behind her, he made a shushing gesture to Torrie, who smiled knowingly and raised an eyebrow at him, but remained silent. With a final wave, the blonde Boise belle turned and followed Michelle’s fellow Floridian down the hallway. Smirking devilishly, Chuck laid in wait as she settled back down against the back of the plushy couch, before finally grabbing her shoulders and shouting “Boo!”
Michelle gave a loud shriek and nearly jumped out of her skin as she felt a pair of large, warm hands grab her from behind. Twisting in her seat, her surprise quickly settled into a scowl as she realized just who had scared the wits out of her.
“Gee, ya just couldn’t say hi like a normal person, could ya Chuck?”
He rested his chin on her shoulder, his huge hands encasing her slender shoulders, and she felt her stomach flip-flop pleasantly. “Well no. That would make me normal, and that’s just unnatural,” he replied, his face a silly grin.
Rolling her eyes, she turned her face away from his. “Yeah, well, thanks to you, my heart’s not going to beat regularly for days!”
“What, that doesn’t just happen when I’m around?” he questioned, faking hurt.
“Oh har, har,” she said sarcastically.
Standing straight again, he came around the side of the couch and plopped down next to her, moving the couch a few inches in the process and making her giggle in spite of herself.
“So what were you lovely ladies doing? Exchanging the latest gossip? Comparing manicures? Kissing and telling?” he waggled his eyebrows shamelessly at the last suggestion.
Nudging his shoulder, she laughed. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
“Well, you’re secretiveness is starting to pique my interest…”
“For your information, oh Nosey Nellie, we were talking about Vickie and Adam.”
Chuck grimaced as he remembered seeing the two in their passionate lip-lock earlier in the night. “Well that makes for pleasant dreams, doesn’t it? First that ferret-looking retard slimes up my brother’s bike, and then he beats me, and then that horrendously disgusting display of public affection? I was trying to repress that, thank you very much. Now I’m going to have to take an even longer shower to make myself feel clean again,” he complained as he sprawled out into a more comfortable sitting position. “Dave was right to feel sick!”
At the mention of the Virginia native, Michelle’s stomach did another flop, though this one wasn’t nearly as nice as the first. Chuck had been extremely irritated about the first incident with Noble and the motorcycle, but she hadn’t told him about the Cruiserweight’s thinly veiled come-ons before their match. Chuck had been mad enough about the bike incident, and she didn’t want him to go ballistic.
“Grimy little possum,” she muttered angrily under her breath. “That sleazy, weasel-faced punk...”
“You got that right,” Chuck agreed, scowling and not taking any notice of her sudden agitation.
She fidgeted with her hands and made no reply, and he let the silence grow, failing to realize that he was the only one enjoying it.
Rey Mysterio made his way through the lobby, pausing for a minute to chat before continuing on his way, but that wasn’t enough to completely break the ice, as Michelle only gave little one-word answers to any of Chuck’s attempts at conversation.
Eventually she couldn’t take it anymore, and stood.
“Turning in,” he asked, getting up from his seat and joining her.
Nodding, the former school teacher made an off-hand excuse about how tired she was, and turned towards the hallway her two fellow Divas had exited down.
“Well here, let me walk you to the elevator,” he offered, giving her a smile.
“But isn’t your room in the other direction?” she asked, trying to deter him. Another second around him and she’d probably crack.
“’Chelle,” he cut her off. “It’s not a problem, really.” He offered his arm to her, which she slowly took. Guiding her out of the room, he winked at her, his grin widening. “Ha, my plan worked perfectly, I got the prettiest girl in the room. I just hope I don’t have to fight off too many wannabe hopefuls!” he laughed, but she only managed a weak smile in return.
Seeing her slightly worried face, he touched her shoulder gently. “Look, if you’re worried about Noble, don’t be. He might have gotten lucky this time, but I’ll get him next week, just you watch.”
I hope so, she thought grimly, God do I hope so…
Ah…this pairing tickles my brain. God, I can’t believe Noble won again!!! Suckage, man, suckage. I just hope they don’t take their storyline where mine is going…wouldn’t that be some shit? LOL…Anyway, hope you enjoy, leave a review if the thought so strikes you!! Mwah!
