AN: Men in Black stuff. Whoot. Completely inspired by the Cracked up rp I'm doing with Blue-mun. By the way, Blue-mun, I took some liberties with M's appearance. Hope you don't mind.

Disclaimer: MiB is owned by...whoever. L is mine. M is Blue-mun's.

“L come on!” M shouted, jogging through the building. They had been sent here to apprehend the Darzonian rampaging through the building, but the large, ape-like creature was a bit too much for two agents to handle.

“L…?” M inquired when he didn’t hear his partner. He waited a few moments, then muttered, “Dammit,” to himself and ran back into the building.

-----

L thrashed against the grip around his throat, flailing pathetically as the Darzonian held him captive, against the wall with his feet a good two feet off the ground. He had been like this for almost two minutes, and his vision was starting to dim at the edges.

I’m going to die…

It was a surprisingly calm thought. Though L supposed that his mind was going numb along with the rest of his body.

And all of a sudden, it was gone. The pressure around his neck was gone as something managed to throw the Darzonian across the room, and he felt someone settling him on the ground against the wall, and then whatever had saved him stepped in front of him, crouched in a defensive, protective posture.

A humanoid dragon was the best way to describe the creature. Dark blue scales and long, dark purple curly hair, with white talons, hands, wings, tail, and face.

The Darzonian got to its feet, growling as it approached the dragonic creature. The dragon simply bared his fangs in a snarl, crouching lower. His wings spread threateningly and his tail lashed behind him.

It almost seemed to go in slow motion as both creatures lunged at each other, clashing in midair. It was a blur of fur, scales, and wings, until the Darzonian found itself pinned against the wall, the dragon creature leaning closer.

“Listen, pal,” the dragon started, his voice carrying an odd hissing quality to it, and he led into, “you do not touch what’s /mine./” The last word was emphasized as the dragon plunged a clawed hand through the Darzonian’s chest.

M stood in the main entrance to MiB headquarters, Frank sitting at his side. He watched L, body and mind still in shock from the experience as a whole, ramble deliriously to the doctor that he had been rescued by a dragon.

“Hey kid, you gonna tell him?” Frank asked, looking at M. M nodded, shoving his hands into his pockets. “Eventually. When he’s ready.”
