A clue as to who, and exactly what Morgana is… not very long, sorry, next will be longer.

Morgana sat at the table in her kitchen nursing her jaw with an ice pack, apparently if you kick Max’s ass she gets pissed. Once she had woken up she had thrown a very affective right hook at Morgana, it didn’t knock her out, but it did bruise, and it hurt like a bitch. Max, Alec, and the two she had learnt to be Biggs and Mole were on the other end of the kitchen discussing the offer that they had received. Max looked back for a moment at Morgana, who sneered at the look of contentment that passed across Max’s face as she set her eyes on the bruise, her eyes widened though when before her eyes the bruise melted away, Morgana smirked at her and put the ice pack back in the freezer. “Boss, why didn’t that happen straight away?” Mal asked referring to the fact that the bruise had disappeared.

“It’s the jet lag, I guess it screws with my hardware,” she shrugged and started to cough violently, she headed to the sink and braced herself on the edge. The group of Transgenics turned to her and Jayne and Mal got up securing a firm grip on her waist and shoulders. Morgana didn’t stop, she started to cough up blood, “Shit Boss,” Jayne grumbled.

Her coughing fit ceased and she shrugged them off, “ ‘m fine, prolly just somethin’ I caught when I went for that swim.”

“Boss,” Mal looked at her, “You don’t get sick.”

The revelation startled the Transgenics and caused them to look curiously at the rest of the group in the room.

“Boss, I’m thinkin’ we put you on the first plane outta here,” Jayne said worriedly.

Morgana shook her head, “Not if they want to go ahead with this deal, if they don’t I’ll leave straight away, if they do, then my trip to the doc’s gonna be put off.”

“Boss,” Jayne looked at the others in the room and pulled her outside, Max looked at Alec and then Mole and Biggs, they nodded and she, Biggs and Mole moved toward Mal while Alec moved slightly closer to the door in order to hear what was being said.

“Boss, you have to go home, you house our governments most expensive equipment, not to mention that it’s only the prototype so it doesn’t work properly, this was going to happen, you knew that and you still came on this mission, you’re dying Boss, and you don’t seem to understand that we need you alive…I need you alive, despite being my superior you’re like a little sister to me, if you die here…you just can’t okay, we’ve known each other since we were babies, I made a promise to protect you no matter what!”

Morgana closed her eyes and sighed, “Jayne, you’re my big brother, you always will be, but this is my choice, if I…when I die, this technology will be able to be extracted, and if we can’t improve the technology, well the Transgenics will still be there to depend on, they are incredibly powerful, and I’m not going to pretend to them that we’re doing this out of the goodness of our hearts, we’re doing this because we need them, because with what we do, most normal soldiers just don’t cut it. If they agree to this swap then I’m doing it.”

“But-”

“Enough Jayne, if I have to pull rank I will, I’m doing this,” he commanding tone shut him up and he nodded sadly. They walked back into the kitchen and saw everyone staring at them, “I take it you heard us then?” Morgana asked.
