“I want a fairytale just like Cinderella...” Sakura said dreamily in her little day dream trance..

“ Psh! Like that’ll ever happen to you of all people forehead girl!” 12 year old best friend, Ino, said.

“It will!” Sakura persisted, her eyes big and sparkling, “ And I know who will be my prince charming.”

Ino looked in the direction her friend was ogling at.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Sasuke Uchiha has just entered the building.

“Hey teme! How do you get all the girls after you?” Naruto pestered.

“Dobe, shut the hell up!” Yes people he’s pissed off. All; days girls eyes were glued to him like paper and pencil. Ugly sluts, older women, younger women, was that a baby trying to walk over to him with lust in it’s eyes?

“ Seriously girls stare at you like, like your eye candy or something and then there is me, still in the market, hello? There is a problem there! I want to be you! Well a little less Emo...” Naruto exclaimed, dodging girls lunging for Sasuke.

“ I’m not Emo and besides no one wants to be me.”

“ You should really stop drooling, it’s not very attractive...” Ino pointed out.

Sakura wiped the drool away with the back of her sleeve and continued to stare in awe of Sasuke.

“ If you like him so much, ask him out!”Ino said, finally fed up of twenty minutes of silence and staring.

Sakura started to fidget and mumble incoherent words.

Ino rolled her eyes. Her best friend was so predictable but still, who could blame her, she acted the same when she met her boyfriend

“I don’t think I should, you know, I just well couldn’t, Someone is with him, what would I say, It’s just...” on and on Sakura went.

“It’s just pone normal guy Sakura! My god!”

“One guy? One NORMAL guy? He’s like a god Ino! A god! Do you hear me?” Sakura said turning back to Sasuke with wide eyes.

“You have to do something except sit here and gape at him while girls try to get your prince charming.” Ino said knowing that Sakura wouldn’t ignore this.

“ You are totally right! I should!” and with that she jumped up fast and started to walking slowly to where Sasuke and Naruto were sitting who just finished being pestered by fan girls.

“ Erm, Hi Sasuke! You probably don’t recognize me... I’m Sakura Haruno from your math and History class! I sit all the way in the back so you...” on and on and on she went much to Sasuke’s annoyance.

Sasuke didn’t even look up. He was about to yank his hairs out when those fan girls came over to try to flirt with him and now lookie here! A chatter box comes over.

So much pressure, annoyance, pent up anger came bursting out.

“God dammit, leave me alone! All you annoying girls are just too dense to realize I hate you all. Get the fucking away from me! He looked up.

Sakura took a step back, feeling hot tears well up in her eyes. Sure a mother would say she was too young to know what love was but she really thought she loved him with all her heart.

Naruto jumped up trying to cover for his best friend.

“ Oh wait, he didn’t mean you he meant hose sluts! He-“

She didn’t want to hear excuses. She took the strawberry milkshake she had and poured it all over his head.

Ino was shocked by Sakura’s action.

“You go girl... she whispered cheering Sakura on as the mall got quiet, people were pressing their faces to the window, the doors and bathrooms.

“ Whoops looks like pink isn’t your color!” Sakura said fiercely, watching as Sasuke stood up looking like he went through a paintshop, “Consider that payback for making me waste more than half of my life!” and she stalked off with Ino trotting after her.

“Damn Sasuke, you’re right, I don’t think anyone wants to be you.” As an afterthought Naruto added, “ She was right, Pink isn’t your color Sasuke!”

5 years later

“Welcome to Senior year Students!” grinned Kurenai their Home room teacher. The students cheered. They were pranked during freshman Fridays, but now ha! They were doing the pranking around here!

“ Remember class! The back to school senior dance is tonight! Let’s give a special thanks to our student president for arranging this event! Sakura dear, please stand up!”

Doing as she was told she stood her white asymmetrical skirt swaying. Girls cheered, Boys wolfed whistled, who’d ever thought geeky Saki would turn into model material?

“I hope to see you there!” she called out over the cheering.

“Excuse me but Tsunadae has requested Sakura to sing a song on the school radio to celebrate the coming year.” a student came in the class.

“Hey Sakura! Wait up!” Ino called racing down the hall to catch up with her best friend.

Sakura turned around from talking with Hinata and TenTen, additions to their group from freshman year.

“ Jeez Ino I thought you were a turtle coming down the hall!” TenTen said making the other girls giggle. Ino rolled her eyes.

“ So are you guys going to the dance?” Ino asked.

“Yep!” all tree girls chorused

Ino eyed them, “ With dates?”

“ I’m going with Neji the captain of the basketball team.” TenTen announced making some girls around her, glare murderously at her.

“Well, I’m going with Naruto, the captain of the football team.” Hinata said nervously smiling.

Ino nodded then turned to Sakura. “And you?”

“Well do you have a date Ino?” Sakura flipped her hair over her shoulders.

Ino beamed and scowled at the same time. “ Well of course I’m going with Shikamaru! Captain of the decathlon team and the swimming team! But let’s not get off topic now...”

“ No, I am not bringing a date,” Boy’s perked their ears up at that, “ If I had it my way I wouldn’t even be attending this dance.”

Ino’s jaw dropped. Konaha’s newest and greatest playgirl ( recently retired when she came into office) was going without a date?

“But, but you must you are student body president! You have to! You, Captain of the girls, soccer team, Tennis, and raquet ball , also president of the student body! I have an idea why don’t you go with Sasuke! I mean his stats are amazing! He’s single also! Captain of the soccer team, Tennis, Lacross, Track, and runner up in the elections for your spot! So what do you say?”

“What do I say? What do I say? Ino you know why I hate him! “

“I will not allow you to go to dance alone and sice you won’t ask Sasuke...”

Sakura took another step back worried at the evil glance she was getting from her friends.

On the top of their lungs they screamed, “SAKURA HARUNO IS STILL DATELESS, ASK HER OUT NOW!”

“ Holy shit!” And she ran out the front doors toward the soccer field.

“Alright Sasuke make the team try to make the Sakura tactic work.” The coach told him and he nodded.

A crashing sound caught the teams attention. Sakura was running in heels, a skirt and blazer, away from a stampede of boys, who were knocking over everything in their way. And by the way she looked, she was going to pass out. She stopped for a second and ran towards the coach and Sasuke.

“ Please help- my god- me...” She panted when she reached them looking over her shoulder to see them closing in. She jumped behind Sasuke and pushed him forward.

“ Do something!” she whispered seeing as the coach abandon fort at the sight of the hoard

Sasuke blew his whistle. “ Alright guys target practice! Take em’ down!”

Soccer balls were shot into the crowd which was shrinking as boys fell down..

“Captain, there are too much!” a player called hitting each ball with force.

“ Do you have to have so many fan boys?” he asked her in an undertone.

“Well do something about it!” she snapped back.

“ We have two choices, 1: It’ll stop the dance requests but you’ll hate me for life afterwards. 2: We die along with the soccer team.”

“I pick one, I can’t hate you more than I do already, can I?”

“You’d be surprised...” He grabbed her by the shoulders and smashed his lips to hers, shocking everyone who saw but none more than the girl her self.

‘His lips are so soft...’ Losing herself she wrapped an arm around his neck the other hand fisting his shirt pulling him as he arranged his arms around her waist. Clouds thundered and it started to pour, their lips sliding over each others as if puzzle pieces fitting perfectly.

“I hope Sakura’s ok...ay...” said Ino looking out the window to the Soccer field. She smiled.

“Girls She is more than okay...” They rushed over to the window and fell down from the sight.

Air was becoming a necessity but they refused to stop until they reached their absolute limit. They broke apart breathing fast and hard. “What the hell was that for?” she asked out of breath.

“ Take it as an apology for making you waste more then half of your life and as an invitation to come to the dance with me.”

“Well vice president Sasuke...I accept your offer.”

"You just have to rub it in my face?"
