Tales of the Moonlight

A Narnian Poem/Song by Desert Crossing

Tales of the moonlight sweet and free

Naiads and Dryads each with their tree

Whispers of goodbyes and goodnights

Though few stay up by the firelight

Tales of the moonlight sweet and free

Bacchus and his girls dance with glee

Even as the Dawn Treader leaves to go find

New people and a sun that would make them go blind

Tales of the moonlight sweet and free

A griffin swoops low, creatures flee

A rabbit bounds out of view

Wet from the grass covered in dew

Tales of the moonlight sweet and free
