Ch.6-A surprise

Punisher stood in the door frame,not believing what he saw,there was a long rope hanging from the ceiling,it was hanging from a hook,and hanging on the rope by his neck was Detective Shark,he was shaking in extreme fright and whimpering quietly to himself,Punisher seen a tape on the floor,he picked it up and put in the tape recorder.

"Punisher,I believe you know this man,your best friend Detective Ryan Shark,but will he still be your friend after I tell you that he is a serial killer,he is the killer you've been after for so long but never been able to find,he's the main type of criminal you despise,he is a murderer,but you must let him live, in one minute the rope will snap and Detective Shark will fall to his death" there was a large coffin shaped box on the floor,it opened by itself and some spikes were sticking out of it.

"In Order to stop Shark from dying,you must shut off the machine that will break the rope,in order to do that you need to stab yourself with your knife,stab yourself the same way Shark stabbed you in the back.

"Like last time the camera on the wall will record it and automatically shut off the machine,will you inflict pain on yourself to save another? Live or die,make her choice."the tape shut off.

Punisher found a long knife on the floor,he examined it,running his finger along the sharp edge.

The clock started going down,Punisher stood there staring at Detective Shark,he shook his head.

"So your a criminal? I guess you'll die with the rest of them" Punisher said grimly,Shark hung there helplessly.

"P-please,I'm sorry,we don't have to be friends,but let me live."he pleaded with tears in his eyes,but nothing would change Punisher's mind.

"Have a nice life"Punisher said sarcastically,he stood there until the clock counted down and the machine shot flames out and snapped the rope in half,Shark screamed and floated in the air for a second then fell like a rock,Punisher watched as he fell in the spiked prison,blood shot all over Punisher.

Punisher stared at Shark for a second and a sadistic smirk crept across his face,he went through the next door.
