His Girl Friday
This is an eleven on the strangeness scale. Not gross or anything, just not my typical style. I’m not sure that I like it, but I thought I’d throw it out there. Came to me watching a slide show of David as Doctor pictures. Yeah, that’s about it.
How many times must I reiterate: me no owny Doctor Who.
“Oi!”
“Rose! Please! I’m trying to narrate! The kind of heat that liquified the side walk gum. Liquified. Ha! That’s a fun word: li-qui-fied.”
“Thought you were trying to narrate.” Rose said deadpan.
“Right, sorry. Where was I?” The Doctor tugged on his ear lobe.
“Liquefying side walk gum.” A huge grin spread across his face. Rose held a hand up to stop him, “And before you say it: yes it is a fun word. Moving on.”
“But it would take more than sticky gum to grab this gum-shoe. She was bad news in scarlet heels. But, then I’ve always been a sucker for blondes.” He winked at her. “She caught my eye from across the street, danger written all over her gorgeous face. She had me. It was all over.”
“Then what happened?” Rose asked absently as she flipped through her magazine.
“Oh, she made me carry her shopping bags back to the Tardis and take her home to her mother.”
“Fate worse than death, then?” Rose smiled.
“Pretty much.”
