Chapter One: Kyuubi's Capture

--

Screams and shouts pierced through the smoke filled air, sparks of flames bursting and flickering against the winds. Blood coated the ground and the walls of buildings, the red liquid coming from many still bodies of people. Gaurds barked orders and citizens howled in terror, their sounds drowned out by the roaring rain.

Naruto panted as he looked around his village, blue eyes wide with shock and anger. His village, the place he had sworn to protect with his very life, was being destroyed by outsiders, slaughtering the people who lived under his leadership. This fact made his blood bowl, making his eyes shift from blue to crimson red.

The kitsune howled and lunged forward, ignoring the wounds in his side as he ran on all four. He lashed his claws out at any enemy who came in his way, his ears ringing with their cries of agony and fear. "Naruto!!" Upon hearing his name, the young man turned around, fox ears perked up, his gaze landing on a pink-haired woman. Blood covered her clothing and she was covering a wound in her left arm, aqua green eyes wide with pain and apprehension. "Naruto, there are too many of them. They're killing more people than what we can save!"

The kitsune cursed under his breath and looked her over for a moment, taking in her condition with a serious visage. "Damn it..." He whispered, growling with anger. He turned his gaze over to the side to look at two men, both fighting side by side as they fended off more outsiders.

"Kiba! Shikamaru!"

The two turned to stare at Naruto, awaiting what he had to say. "Order all of the remaining ninja to evacuate everyone! Don't leave a single living soul here to die!" Shikamaru nodded and took off in one direction, heading for the houses and apartments. "Kiba, let Sakura take Akamaru to help the wounded escape!"

Kiba nodded and called upon his dog, the canine running over to Naruto as his master ran to carry out the orders. "Akamaru, I need you to follow Sakura's commands for the time being, okay?" The animal barked in affirmative and looked at the wounded medical captain, who, in turn, nodded to him.

"What are you going to do?" She asked, worried for her leader's safety; granted, he can be immature, but not in the village's time of need. "I'll distract the enemy with all I have." Sakura narrowed her eyes in doubt, causing the kitsune to smile. "I'll come after you all right after, I promise." Sakura hesitated before hopping onto the large canine's back, kicking his sides to motion him to go forward.

"There he is!"

Naruto whirled around and snarled at the opposing men, baring his fangs and crouching down. The men gasped and the kitsune smirked, lunging forward with his claws outstretched. "Leave my home alone!!"

--

Naruto jumped away from the incoming enemies, panting hard as he covered the wound just above the spiral scar on his stomach. He snarled at the men and bared his fangs, hoping it was enough to intimidate them in stopping briefly. But his growls were unnoticed as they got closer, swords waving and kunai knives flying.

"Naruto, come on!"

The kitsune whirled around to see the remaining villagers fleeing in a small mass, escaping the ruins of their homes. The ninja and medical officers escorted them away from the bloody scene, bringing them to a huge wagon. Akamaru was strapped to the wagon as he waited for everyone to climb on, Kiba sitting on his back at ready.

With a snarl, Naruto whipped his hand out, throwing a pair of smoke bombs to the ground. Such an act surprised the outsiders, stunning them in one spot and the smoke blinding them. Naruto turned tail and ran for the wagon, blood trailing with each stride he took.

"GO! GO!! GO!!" He shouted upon seeing everyone was safely on, causing Akamaru to buck and lunge forward. The large dog pulled and the speed gradually picked up, ending with a full out sprint for safety. Naruto followed closely behind, trying to make sure that no one fell out. Suddenly, a woman gasped out, arms outstretched as a child fell from the speeding wagon.

"My daughter!" She cried, attempting to leap off after her kid.

The villagers held her back as she shouted, dismayed when she saw the smoke in the distance clear. Naruto quickly changed directions, dirt flying as he skidded around. He took off for the child, speeding on all four to close the distance quicker. "Naruto!" He heard Sakura cry, almost leaping off the wagon after her leader.

"I'll get the girl, you just keep the wagon going!" He shouted over his shoulder, still running for the frightened girl. As he neared, he saw the enemy ninja running in his direction swiftly, causing him to curse loudly. The girl, upon hearing the enemies' shouts, began to run towards Naruto, arms outstretched and eyes wide with fear.

Naruto barked and forced himself to move faster, seeing many shurikan stars thrown at the child. "No!" He shouted, scooping the girl up in his arms and leaping away from the spot. Many ninja stars landed in the girl's previous place, but they were ignored; the ninja were coming closer, and Naruto was in their crossfire with the child.

He snarled and whirled around, dirt flying from his feet as he took off for the wagon. His stride, however, was abruptly stopped when a grappling shackle closed around his neck. He cried out and his body reared back, almost forcing him to let go of the girl in his arms.

"Naruto!"

The kitsune snarled in response and bucked forward, yanking himself free from the metal grip. His freedom was short lived, for another shackle was inclosed around his wrist. He growled and yanked, trying to free himself from his comfines, but it only caused the men to imbed shurikan stars and kunai knives in his body, forcing a cry of agony from his throat. The girl in his arm whimpered and held on to his shirt tighter, looking up at his pain struck face.

He tried getting free once again, but another shackle was seized around one of his ankles. Naruto let out a yelp when the enemies yanked on his chains, causing him to fall back and onto his side. He snarled and struggled, trying to keep the girl away from the hostile men. His attempts were futile, for they simply rushed over and took her away, causing her to wail and reach for her leader.

"No!" Naruto shouted, reached out with his free hand. It was quickly trapped around the wrist with another shackle, forcing a yelp from his when they yanked on the chains again. He coughed up blood and looked up, eyes widening when he saw the wagon being stopped and raided. His blood loss taking its toll, he began to loose conciousness, red eyes shifting to cereulean blue once more.

"No..." He whispered out, his voice choked with pain and panic. Unable to stay awake any longer, his eyes drifted close, darkness engulfing all of his senses.

--Five--Years--Later--

A pair of cerulean blue eyes narrowed tiredly as he heard the annoying voice of the auctionist outside of the prison. His ears twitched, signalling his irritation, and he curled his upper lip, revealing the sharp point of his fangs.

Over and over, the auctionist would call, "Step right up, folks' non-stop, and it pissed the kitsune off to no end. 'What a way to live life...' He thought sarcastically, rolling his eyes once more. His current thoughts, however, were interrupted when all the previous owners of slaves began to release them from their cells, only to trap them in metal shackles. The kyuubi smirked.

'That isn't strong enough to hold me... an easy escape.' His unusual blue eyes simply watched as each slave moved out of the prison, one by one, to be shown to the audience. 'Huh... but that'd be too easy. Though I'd hate to admit it, these guys aren't that stupid...' As if to emphasize his thought, the kitsune moved slightly, ears twitching at the rattling of special made steel shackles. Specially made, just for him. He looked around and spotted his previous owner walking up to his own cell, five other men behind him, each looking strong enough to wheel his heavy cage into the opening. The fox rose from his spot, lowered in a crouch, as he narrowed his eyes, the pupils hallowing into slits.

"You're up, Kyuubi. You had better give them people the best impression, 'cause you are the most expensive one here. If you don't, so help me..." The fox, Naruto, smirked, raising a golden eyebrow. "You'll what? Whip me 'till I bleed? Make sure you bring me a magazine, then; I tend to get quite bored of the whole situation at once." The smirk on his face grew wider, watching as his master reddened with anger. Whether he liked it or not, the kitsune was right.

Whips couldn't break his skin, no matter how long and hard you hit him with it.

With a loud growl, he shook his head, flicking his wrist towards Naruto, and gave the order. The men behind him surrounded the cage, one of them opening the door, while the kitsune growled, lowering himself in the crouch he was already in. He looked quite threatening, long fangs bared and his tails lashing as he snarled out his distaste, but it was all futile; the chains he was in prevented him from any kind of attack.

So, all he could do was watch as the man ripped his shirt off, freeing his torso from the garment, before chaining up his tails as well; they can be a really good weapon, you know.

Once the kitsune looked 'presentable' and completely secured, the man left his cage and closed the door, throwing a huge curtain over the cage before helping the others wheel him out." to the stage.

--

"Step right up folks, for we have a real treat for all of you rich folk, young and old!"

Sasuke let out an irritated sigh as the auctionist continued his ramblings of a 'treat' watching as slaves of all shapes and sizes came and gone from the stage, sold relatively quickly. There were many of them; strong, weak, feminine, masculine, lithe and lean, bulky and muscular, but none of them seem to fit the profile his father specified to him.

He wanted someone strong enough to lift heavy things, yet not bulky, somewhere along the lines of muscular, yet lean. He wanted someone cute or ravenously handsome, possibly for his own amusement to see other slave-owners' jealousy, and possibly for Sasuke's or Itachi's potential slave-bride. Someone who has quick on his feet, and very obedient, never to question the authority of the Uchiha clan.

Too bad the next particular slave will soon catch his attention.

His ears seemed to perk, now interested, as the auctionest began to speak of a demon. "That's right, folks! This particular slave is a demon! But not just any demon... he's the Nine-Tailed Fox, Kyuubi!!" A collection of gasps was heard throughout the whole crowd, even Sasuke's eyes widened. 'The... Kyuubi?' He thought, shock written ever so slightly on his face.

He awaited for the man to prove that they, indeed, catch the demon lord, and was quite surprised when a few muscular men wheeled out a huge cage, a curtain hiding the being within. Sasuke could almost taste the anticipation of everyone in the crowd, all eyes trained on the cage up on the stage.

"Yes folks, you heard correct! This demon is a true beaute! The best choice for those who like a strong, rebellious nature in a slave. Yep! He's stronger than any other demon; he can lift objects ten times his own weight, and is a great slave to have if you enter fighting tournaments; garunteed to win every battle he is in!" More gasps were heard, mostly from men, and the excitement only seemed to rise.

"But, if you want him for labor, then he is the best choice for the job; his endurance is so good that it even surpasses the endurance of three high-ranking demons combined. And not only that, but he is one," The auctionist took the curtain away from the cage, revealing the being behind the bars, before the iron also lowered, completely showing the kitsune off for all to see, "handsome son of a bitch!"

Sasuke felt a nosebleed coming on as he stared at the demon on the stage, his shackles rattling as he moved.

Blonde, spikey hair covered the head like a shaggy mane, the locks of gold stopping to rest at his shoulders. Very kissable looking lips were owned by the demon, said lips curled to reveal sharp looking fangs; Sasuke thought they looked quite dangerous. Sexy, whisker-like, what the Uchiha thought them to be, scars marred his face, three on each cheek, the dark markings making his eyes stand out.

These eyes were very blue, cerulean blue to be precise, and the mere color of the orbs put the day's sky to shame, fox-like pupils swimming in the center of the hypnotizing depts. Sasuke's eyes ogled the tanned torso, the rock-hard muscles flexing with each move the fox made, making the spiral tattoo around his naval seem to spin. Claws adored his hands and, what made Sasuke give a double take, was his feet; unlike a human's feet, these were like that of a fox, the heels coming off of the ground and huge paws replaces a regular foot, golden-red fur covering them completely. The demon was even bent at the knees when he stood up straight; it reminded Sasuke of how a werewolf stood.

To add on to the animalistic features of the blonde, he has nine magnificent tails trashing against the chains, and long fox ears instead of human ears. But no one seemed to care, especially the women and gay men at the action.

Hell, even the straight men were wolf-whistling towards the blonde. But, seriously, could you really blame them?

Sasuke shook his head, stopping his little eye-hump-the-sexy-blonde session when he heard the auctionist yell out the bidding price. "Now, as I said before, this hear kitsune is the strongest of the demons and the only nine-tailed kitsune, so the bidding start-price will be pretty high. We'll start at 10,000 bucks! Do I hear over 10,000 bucks?!"

"I'll pay 10,100 for the kitsune!"

"10,250 for me!"

"10,500!"

The auctionist kept on encouraging the bidders to raise their price, smirking as he heard many a bidder state their offer for the powerful demon. Sasuke await for the final bidder to state his claim, going over 13,500 grand, as he thought the many problems if he, indeed, buys this kitsune.

First and final off, he was rebellious, something his father doesn't tolerate well. He specifically said someone that was obedient, but at the moment, staring at that sexy blonde up on that stage, he had really stopped caring. Getting the exact opposite of the personality description could mean big trouble for the Uchiha, but he couldn't care less, even if he tried. So, with that decision made, Sasuke spoke his bid out clearly and ever so calmly.

"15,000."

The whole crowd let out a gasp, all turning towards the young man who spoke his claim for the kitsune; hell, even the very subject of the whole bid stared at him through wide eyes, before smirking, as if happy that the Uchiha bid the highest.

It made Sasuke shiver with foreign pleasure.

The auctionist, though stunned, kept on talking, counting down. "Going once, going twice..." In that tense moment, no one spoke, either hesitant to go any higher or not able to go any higher. Before anyone could stake another claim, the auctionist pointed towards Sasuke and yelled out, "Sold!" The two men who wheeled the Kyuubi out wheeled back to the back, out of view of the audience.

Sasuke then smirked, hearing many growls and groans of jealousy towards him; he was epic, what can I say?

The Uchiha weaved through the angry crowd calmly, almost cooly, stepping up on the stage and into the back to claim his just reward. The kitsune just watched him with calm, half-lidded eyes, his smirk still playing at his lips. "Well now, if it isn't the youngest son of the Uchiha family. Why am I not surprised that I've been bought by the clan leader's offspring?" He said, only loud enough for Sasuke to hear.

Before he could say anything, the fox simply shrugged. "Oh well; it could have been much worse. I could have ended up with someone ugly, both physically and mentally... and you seem to be neither." He let out a series of rumbles deep down in his throat, the sound resembling a growl; by the series of them, Sasuke could safely assume the kitsune was chuckling.

Sasuke smirked back at the fox, forcing down the blush that suddenly wanted to surface from the comment, before turning to look at the two men gaurding the cage. "Unchain him." He said, raising an eyebrow as the men gasped. "But-but mister Uchiha, that's suicide! The Kyuubi would kill us in an instant if we free him!"

The fox growled at the men, his smirk still on his lips. "You two will be the first to die for your assumption of my bloodlust. As for the boy that purchased me, I'll be more than happy to spare his life." Commented the blonde. Sasuke repeated his command to the men, giving them a Do-As-I-Say-Or-I'll-Simply-Kill-You glare.

In some circumstances, that Kill-You bit will be literal.

Now shaken up by both threats, the men did as the Uchiha requested (more like demanded) of them, releasing all the chains ecxept the one holding his wrists. The fox let out an amused chuckle. "Everything but my wrists? Way to be original." He waved his free tails, as if happy that he could move them. Sasuke silently to the chain from one of the men and walked out, ignoring the glare the last owner of the kitsune sent him; at least, until the very man stopped him from leaving.

"You must be a fool to free him of his chains, boy." He inquired, smugly smiling at the way Sasuke furrowed his eyebrows. He thought it was of embarressment, but, in truth, it was in annoyance.

Why couldn't these people just let him leave peacefully?

With a sigh, the Uchiha calmly stared at the man, emotion devoided from his face, as he spoke. "Then you must be an idiot to sell him. To much for you to handle, I'm guessing... possibly tried to abuse him, too, eh?" The man's smile faltered and he was left staring at the younger man, listening as the Uchiha told him his experience with the fox as if he was actually there, watching them.

"Shame you had to try and hurt this demon... I may just release him completely to allow him to satisfy the revenge he must have after all of it." At that moment, the man knew it was a complete mistake stopping the Uchiha, for the Kyuubi was now grinning like a fox, fangs bared at him, tails swishing for any moment to attack.

"Bah! You want to die so quickly, then it isn't my problem; do with him as you please." The keeper said with forced calm, waving his hand in dismissal. As they walked out the door, the kitsune bucked at the keeper and snapped his fangs, making the poor man pee on himself in fright. The Kyuubi let out a growling laugh, cerulean blue eyes glinting with amusement as he smirked. "Pussy."

Sasuke led the kitsune to his limo, slightly surprised to see that he didn't gape with shock. Huh, that's the first; but, then again, the kitsune was the demon lord, so he possibly had one when he was still reigned. The driver got out and held the door open, allowing Sasuke and the Kyuubi to enter before getting in himself, driving off. The young Uchiha stared at the kitsune as they went, his dark eyes drinking in every detail of the fox before him. He also realized that the kitsune had nothing but a pair of tattered shorts on, revealing every muscle, every scar the fox had.

I smell a nose-bleed!

The Kyuubi looked over at the Uchiha, a smirk gracing his lips when he saw him staring. "I don't think being a slave includes you staring... and drooling." Sasuke let out a sound and snapped out of his trance, blushing slightly and whiping the dribbling spit with his sleeve. The kitsune let out a laugh before looking at Sasuke, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, seeing that I'm going to be living with you for a while, you might as well tell me your name."

The Uchiha sat silently for a moment, looking at the kitsune through narrowed eyes. Finally, he answered. "Sasuke... Sasuke Uchiha." He said, crossing his arms; he knew the fox already knew of his last name, but he couldn't care less at the moment. They sat for a moment, both staring at each other until Sasuke broke the silence. "What is your name?" He asked, eyeing the kitsune. He tilted his head, letting out a questionable growl. "Your name, stupid. I want to know if you have another name besides Kyuubi."

The kitsune simply growled at being called stupid, but answered the question. "Naruto Uzumaki... and don't call me stupid, bastard." He said, leaning his head back against the seat. Sasuke narrowed his eyes once more, glaring half-heartedly at the kitsune.

"I've had you for only ten minutes, and I'm already starting to dislike you." He said calmly, sneaking stares at the kitsune's chest and abs. Noticing such looks, Naruto sat up with a sharp gaze, pupils narrowing into slits once more. "Really?" He purred out, causing Sasuke's breath to quicken.

The kitsune leaned in and let out a slow breath, the hot air gently hitting the Uchiha's cheek. His claw-tipped fingers brushed against the man's stomach, causing him to grunt and shift slightly. They were mere inches apart, Naruto slowly closing the distance, a lazy smirk gracing his lips. Sasuke groaned and shifted again, feeling very uncomfortable downstairs.

Why were his pants getting tighter?

He drifted his eyes closed and awaited the anticapated kiss, but it never happened. Instead, he felt a gust of hot breath as Naruto chuckled and felt him lean away, causing him to snap his eyes open. "You don't like me, do you?" He asked, his voice still low with a hint of growl in it. "A little advice, dude: Make sure your cock agrees with your opinion when you say you don't like a person." The kitsune advised, grinning and laughing loudly.

Sasuke, slightly dazed, felt a rush of embarrassment, his cheeks flushing a pretty shade of red. So that's why his pants were feeling tight; the Bear Scouts were setting up their tent.

The Uchiha growled and covered himself with his jacket, though it didn't help his flustering any. The Kyuubi let out another laugh, causing Sasuke to glare at him through narrowed black eyes.

This kitsune truely was more trouble than he's worth...

WOOT!! I edited this chapter, and boy was it worth it! The plot of it is much clearer and stronger, and the story actually looks good in my book.

But who cares of what I think? It's you all's reviews that count! :D I hope it was worth the read.

Until next time, Happy Hunting!!
