Note: This is a random fic. That I thought of at school. This is my first JP fanfic so be nice and review!

Prologue

Destiny and her family are on a cruise to Isle Octavian. This is a popular camping location with a small resort. Destiny is a twelve year old girl with brown hair and blue eyes. Currently they are at a campsite with several other families. It is afternoon and the sun is about to set.

Story

“Mom, I’m going to go with daddy to look at the birds.” Destiny said.

“Okay, you better hurry or they’ll leave you behind.”

Destiny ran out of the tent and followed the trail her dad had followed earlier. She ran for a few minutes and stopped suddenly. She looked into the brush near her and could have sworn she saw two red eyes looking at her. Destiny did a double take but now the eyes were gone.

I must have imagined it.

Destiny continued running until she saw a group of men huddled around something. She noticed that one of the men was her dad so she ran over to see what they were looking at. When she got there she gasped. The torn body of a bear was lying on the ground. Its side and chest torn open.

“Destiny, go back to the campsite, you don’t need to see this. Don’t tell your mom, I’ll tell her later.”

Destiny didn’t question this and sprinted back to her tent. She darted inside and opened her dinosaur book. She flipped through the pages and saw her favorite, the velociraptor. She looked at the illustration by Dr. Grant and smiled.

It would be so cool to see one of these, like they did on that other island.

She looked outside and saw that it was very dark. Suddenly, her mom entered her tent with a jacket.

“Destiny, I want you to wear this tonight. It will uh… keep the bugs away.”

Destiny reluctantly put it on and sighed. “It’s so heavy.”

“I know but everyone is wearing one. Goodnight Destiny.”

“Goodnight.” Destiny replied.

She then pulled the covers over her and closed her eyes. A few hours later Destiny awoke to hear gunshots and people yelling from outside. Then she heard a loud roar. This scared her a lot, and she ran to her parent’s tent. She peered inside and saw no one, so she ran beck to her tent and his under the covers. She heard the roar again and yelped. She looked at the tent entrance to see a large creature’s shadow on the outside. She screamed but no one heard.

Suddenly, the creature burst through the zippered entrance and saw a large body of a raptor, looking her in the eye. From its look, she could tell it was the alpha male. She didn’t move and her eyes were wide with fear. The raptor grinned and jumped on top of her. She was too scared to scream but felt the raptor tearing way at the vest that her mom had given her. She tried to push the raptor off but the attempt was futile. The raptor continued to tear her clothes off until all that was left was her pajamas. It tore the middle section of her shirt off and she braced herself for when it bit down into her flesh. To her surprise, it never came. The alpha male stated to nuzzle her belly and moved up to her neck. She tried to move but the raptor hissed, stopping her in her tracks. The raptor soon continued its nuzzling and rolled its long tongue out. It licked her belly and moved up and did the same to her face. She couldn’t help but giggle from the tickling sensation it was giving her.

Suddenly, the raptor moved up to her shoulder and clamped onto the section between her neck and shoulder. Destiny braced for the bite, but again it didn’t come.

What is it doing? She thought.

The raptor clamped down hard enough to prevent her from escaping, but light enough not to hurt. The male raptor stood up and brought her up with him. She felt her feet leave the ground and she whined. The raptor bit down a bit harder into her shoulder as a warning to keep quiet. Destiny obeyed as she saw many more raptors approaching. It was apparent they had gotten what they had come for because the alpha male started to jog off into the forest with Destiny in its jaws. The alpha male was pleased with its find and saw the boats leaving with all the other humans. The humans were gone as with Destiny’s chance of escaping.
