A/N: I've seen stroies like this on here and thought that I'd try my hand at it. Again this is just a side story and my Back to the future stories are still my main peice of works.

Charlie.

With the emergency evacuation signal blaring through the entire station every man on the station were too busy finding way off of the now apparently doomed space station. Nobody seemed to notice the rebel clad in all black half dragging an incapacitated dark lord of the sith. No one took notice because nobody cared enough. All the imperials cared about was saving their own skins.

Luke Skywalker was disgusted at the display before him. Officers and technicians fought for their own shuttle some even pulling blasters on each other to win the fight. No one seemed to take notice of what had happened to their Emperor or his guards. Luke only hoped that they would get off of this thing before Lando blew it up.

The bored was set, all he had to do was to get to Vader’s shuttle and they were off. He began to pull Vader along, determined to save the broken man that he called Father. Suddenly as they were about to reach Vader’s shuttle, a hand grabbed Luke’s wrist. He looked down to see who had grabbed his wrist ready to fight but relaxed when he saw that it was his father’s hand.

“Just hold on, we’re almost off of this thing,” Luke told him hurrying up.

All around them shuttles took off at an alarming speed. Luke called on the force to give him the strength to continue pulling his father up the ramp to the shuttle. Once he was in, he continued to bring Vader into the cockpit.

He took a deep breath before rushing over to the controls shutting the ramp and taking off. He quickly punched in an Alliance code clearance signaling to the command ship. “This is Commander Skywalker. I've taken over an imperial shuttle!” he called into the comm. He looked over at Vader and turned back to the comm. “And I may be in need of immediate medical attention,” he told them.

“Copy that Commander!” A voice said from over the intercom. “Land in docking bay 33778.”

Vader listened to the exchange growing weaker by the minute. The lighting from Sidious had short circuited his suit. He knew that he had little time left. With effort he spoke, “Luke...”

“Just hold on we're almost there,” Luke said expertly piloting the stolen shuttle into the Alliance's command ship. Once he had landed he rushed over to his father. “You'll be okay. Once I explain everything they'll see reason for you being here,” he told him.

“It's too late Son. Just help me take this mask off,” Vader asked.

Luke shook his head. “You're not dying yet,” he said just as running footsteps came up the ramp followed by a medical team who stopped dead when they saw vader.

“Commander Skywalker, what is the meaning of this?” demanded General Dodonna.

Luke stood up and away from his father. “Vader deflected from the empire and saved my life. He's one of us now,” he said turning to the general.

General Dodonna frowned. “You'll have a lot of explaining to do, Commander,” he said to Luke.

“I understand,” Luke told him.

General Dodonna nodded. “Get Vader some medical attention and fast!” he ordered.

“General Dodonna,” Luke spoke up as the medical team hoisted Vader onto a gurney.

“You wish to go with him?” General Dodonna asked crossing his arms.

“Is that wrong? He did save my life at a great consequence to his own,” Luke replied.

“Very well. But I expect a full report when this is all over,” General Dodonna told him.

“Thank you General,” Luke said following the medical team out of the shuttle.
