AN: About much debate and viewing the outcome, the group decided to cancel the idea, but now they said they still want to read a fanfiction focusing on the angels using this same idea―catch is there's going to be two versions of it. A yuri and non-yuri. This one is the non-yuri, but I doubt I'll write for them again if they pressure something like this again... I respect Ah My Goddess and know the relationship status of the characters and their angels. So for me, this version works out just fine. But that doesn't mean I hated the first idea, but since everyone couldn't come to a agreement on where to take the idea, I brought up the suggestion of having two versions of this fiction. However, someone else will be writing the yuri version, but I, B-Tone am writing this one. Cannon 101 or Alpha Tango will most likely write the other one. So without further or due, let's try this idea again. There are minor typos, but when I find the time, I will correct those...

The phone rang, stirring the eldest goddess from her slumber. As much as she didn't want to get up and leave her cozy den, Urd knew she didn't have a choice. Belldandy and Keiichi were still at school and since Skuld had gone back to heaven for disclosed reasons, Urd was the only one around to answer. True, she didn't have to answer it... she could of easily let it ring until the caller got tired and simply quit. But Urd got up to answer it regardless. After all, it might be important.

" All right, all right already! I'm coming..." Urd garbled while floating sleepily out into the temple's hallway where one of the few phones rested. With a agitated sigh, Urd swiped up the phone, putting the receiver close up to her ear.

" You've reached the Morisato Residence, yada, yada. Wadda ya want?" Urd detected some faint laughter coming from the other end.

" My, my. Don't we sound happy." Urd recognized the voice all too quickly.

" Peroth?" Sighed the tanned goddess, her eyes draping shut against her will.

" What did I do now?"

" Why is it, you think every time I call, it's to take you back into custody over a crime?"

" Because... it usually is. And you know most of the time, it's not even my fault. But I get blamed for it anyway..." Urd remarked matter-of-fact like, yawing a few odd seconds later.

" Now Urd. Don't be like that. Am I calling at a bad time or something? You sound really tired."

" With good reason." Urd remarked wearily, suddenly remembering the party her family threw last night. Surprisingly, Urd didn't do much "partying" as much as she did "cleaning". Since she had her fun the last time the household threw a party, Belldandy kindly reminded Urd of her promise to clean up afterwards, seeing how she did that every other time. Normally, Belldandy and Skuld shared this chore. But Skuld was no longer present, so in a way, Urd took Skuld's duties. Urd cleaned clear up until 4:00 am. in the morning. Who knew a couple of young men and women could be so... messy. Urd would of gladly of asked Banpei for assistance, but Skuld took him and all her other whacked out inventions up to heaven with her. What's worse, is shortly after her cleaning spree, Skuld called the house to inform Urd specifically that she needed her to cook up a virus that would hopefully kill all of the bugs out of the System. Of course Urd was against it and told Skuld to invent a machine to do it for her or something, considering the bug bashing was her main assigned field in heaven. Skuld argued back, practically begging her older sister for some help simply because she was short on time and was that busy running around doing her “job”. But since there were so many bugs, Skuld soon discovered she was no match for the heard of parasites, despite how easily she could kill them. She needed back up, yet no body in heaven seemed capable of assisting her. Just like Skuld, they all had their assigned jobs. Skuld really had not other alternative. Eventually, Urd unwilling agreed. She promised Skuld she'd do her best to come up with a virus that would rid heaven's system of the bugs and get back to her when she was done. There was another five hours added onto her load she had to struggle through. Sure she sipped some Sake here and there, but it didn't do much to change her feelings on the matter. She was still up, working―even though she had done her share from the party, even though it was Skuld's duty to handle the bugs, she was still doing something physical and she just wasn't up for it. Finally, around 9:30 am, she called Skuld back, saying she had successfully created a virus that might just do the trick, but she warned her to be careful with it and to be sure to dispose of it properly when she was done with it. Skuld was extremely thankful for the virus and thanked Urd before taking her leave through the bathroom tub. And now, Peroth was calling her for Kami-sama only knows why.

" Eh, don't mind me. What's up?" Urd forced herself to be a little more respectful. Cranky she may of been, but Peroth was one of her dearest friends. Peroth didn't need to take her crap just because she personally wasn't feeling well.

" Well, nothing much. But I wanted to ask you something."

" What's that?" Urd asked, another small yawn following.

" Many of the goddesses have already agreed to sending their angels to the resort. I was just wondering if World of Elegance would like to attend as well?" Urd's eyes snapped open.

" Come again?"

" You know. The resort that your father opened this past year for all the spirits from each race of deity...?" Urd landed her feet firmly on the ground, suddenly alert.

" Are you talking about Athena's Castle? The ultimate vacation haven that has just about anything, to everything spirits could wish for?"

" That's the one. So, will she be attending? I'll need to make a reservation for her if she is." Urd pursed her lips.

" Um, let me ask her." World of Elegance emerged, already knowing what Urd would say to her. Urd glanced to the left, simply waiting for a nod or shaking of her angel's head. World of Elegance looked Urd straight in the face and offered her master a tender smile. Urd returned it then replied back to Peroth that her angel would definitely be going.

“ Thank you. Would you like me to mail you the dates now or later?” Urd's smile lessened down to a half-smile.

“ Could you mail them later? Give me two hours then I'll be awake to go over the details with her and what not. I'd do it now, but I'm afraid I'd just pass out...” Peroth laughed softly to herself.

“ Sure thing. Oh by the way, whatever you gave Skuld really paid off. Thanks to you two, the entire network is running smoothly again.” It took Urd a moment to understand what Peroth was referring to.

“ Oh, right, right... the virus. Ah, you're um... welcome.” Peroth said a few more words before hanging up. With a listless exhale, Urd gently put the phone back into it's holder. She would have collapsed right there and then in the middle of the hallway, but thankfully, World of Elegance stepped up behind Urd and gathered her master up into her lean arms without much effort and carefully proceeded to Urd's bedroom. Urd bowed her head, instantly asleep. World of Elegance's gaze drifted south. Noting the lazy smile on her master's face caused a smile to form on World of Elegance's. Stepping into the room, she placed Urd on her futon. Urd's head rolled to the side and right into her pillow. Sub-consciously, she shifted over onto her left, sliding one hand under the pillow for extra support while the other rested over her waistline. Urd moaned deeply feeling her angel's hands tucking the comforter around her shoulders. As much as she wanted to thank World of Elegance, she couldn't. Urd was that exhausted and that tired. Before going back into Urd, World of Elegance had a slight moment of hesitation. She was fully up for kicking back, taking it easy and living a placid life for a few weeks. The benefits were tempting by themselves. No fighting, no training, no laying still in the inner soul of her master, where it was rather limited on space―no offense to Urd. It wasn't like World of Elegance was miserable, she wasn't. She was extremely happy to be with her master, buuut... some time away from earth, from everything did sound nice. Yes, it would a little weird, considering this was World of Elegance's first time by free will to depart from her master to literally go off and have fun. But hey, the other spirits were going to do it. Plus, this was the first grand opening invitation to Athena's Castle, fully approved by Kami himself. So World of Elegance wasn't going to be the only new comer to such a treat. What worried her, was knowing how some of the other spirits may act towards her. World of Elegance wasn't sure if Holy Bell and Noble Scarlet were going or not. If they were going to the resort, World of Elegance knew they wouldn't mistreat her. After all, the three of them were like sisters, just as Belldandy, Skuld and Urd were. True, World of Elegance was wished away by Urd's will for a long period of time, but that didn't affect her relationship with them regardless. For the other spirits from all around the deity realm... that's what concerned World of Elegance.

Exactly two hours later, Urd was called again for the second time. Lucky for Peroth, she was up and in a much better mood. They traded information as to what time she needed to report to heaven and when she would need to return to retrieve her angel. The vacation was precisely three weeks long. It didn't seem like much, but even the spirits knew how crucial it was to remain by their master's side. One never knew when the need would arise to draw them forth for battle or for other things. They spirits would be given the options to share rooms if they wanted to. If not, there were many areas at Athena's Castle where they could lodge. That meant indoors, as well as outdoors. Spirits were not known to eat or drink, but if they dared to try, refreshments were available all over the resort. Kami even made sure to include sport-related activities, just for the heck of things.

“ I see. Well, since the opening ceremony starts in the next half hour your time, is it all right if we come up now? I'm kinda of sick of this atmosphere down here anyway. I could use a little taste of heaven.” Peroth didn't mind. Actually, this worked out perfectly. There was something she had been meaning to ask Urd anyway.

“ Sure. Do you want to meet up somewhere in particular or do you want me to set up a gate for here in the Control Room?”

“ The Control Room is fine.” Urd replied, wondering if she should leave a note for Belldandy.

“ All right. See you in a few minutes then!” The Goddess of Roses sounded almost happy about getting to see Urd, who did happen to notice the optimism in her voice. As soon as Urd hung up, a warp gate appeared few inches in front of Urd. Sighing, she used her powers to switch out of her casual clothing and into her goddess robes.

“ I feel like I'm getting ready for a date...” She mumbled, calmly walking into the rotating ring of light and letting it zap her up into the heavens.

As it turned out, Peroth needed some assistance setting things up for the opening ceremony. Unlike the other deities, Urd wasn't on duty working in the Ultimate Force anymore. She got sentenced to earth for a unknown period of time and Peroth of course knew this, which was why she was thrilled to have Urd come early. She used her sentence against her, practically black mailing Urd into helping out. Seeing how she truly didn't have anything to lose, she agreed―though she wasn't happy about it.

“ I think I would I enjoyed a date better...” Peroth glanced down from her perch on the top of the shiny, angel wing ladder to comment down at the white haired goddess holding the ladder steady.

“ Come again?” Urd snapped her head up, forcing a grin to form.

“ Nothing. Don't mind me. How's that banner coming?” Peroth returned her attention back to her task.

“ Great. I just need to center it and we'll be done!” Urd had to admit, the ceremony hall did look impressive.

“ It's almost time right? How many people registered their spirits anyway?” Urd wondered aloud, still keeping a firm hold on the legs of the ladder.

“ Just about everyone. Oh yeah...” Peroth paused on purpose.

“ Morgan received a Angel Egg for all her hard work with the Judgment Gate this past month... she's sending hers, but it's so young compared to the rest who are attending I'm afraid it might get shunned by the older spirits.” Urd knew where this conversation was going and she didn't like it. Technically, it wasn't even Urd's place to speak―it was World of Elegance's.

“ Let me guess... she asked you, to ask someone, to ask their angel if it would care to keep an eye on hers?” Peroth closed one eye and raised her hands to form a titled “rectangle” so she could get a focus on the banner.

“ You're good...” Came the faint reply.

“ It's World of Elegance's choice Peroth, not mine. If she doesn't mind, then I guess Morgan's angel is good to go. If not... well, sorry. You'll have to find another pawn to toy with.” Urd didn't sound happy, but her bitter attitude didn't sway Peroth's motivation.

“ But of course.” Peroth let her hands drop from around her eyes, content with her work.

“ Ah, it's perfect. Help me down?” Urd came to the side and extended up her own hands where she then took Peroth's into her own.

“ I don't know who to be more upset with. You, for tricking me into this whole mess... or myself for allowing myself to be tricked.” Urd retorted bluntly, gently guiding Peroth's form down from the ladder. Though she was safely rooted back on the marble surface of the hall, Peroth's hands remained in Urd's.

“ For the record, I'm pretty sure World of Elegance won't mind.” Peroth finally mustered, looking past Urd's face just in time to see World of Elegance emerge. It wasn't long until Glorious Rose appeared behind her own master. Seeing World of Elegance, she smiled, glad that her friend was going to Athena's Castle as well. Glorious Rose waved timidly over at the exotic, half-breed angel, who gladly waved back.

“ We need to get the equipment out of here before the welcome wagon starts to show.” Urd proclaimed quietly, absentmindedly stepping back and letting Peroth's hands go. Peroth nodded in agreement.

“ Right, right. Glorious Rose?” Glorious Rose floated off to the side just to where she was peering over her master's shoulder.

“ If World of Elegance does decline to babysitting Morgan Le Fe's angel... I'm counting on you.” Glorious Rose understood her mission if push came to shove. Nodding her head, she vowed through silence she would do just that. Peroth took down the ladder while a thunderstruck Urd gapped at her the entire time.

“ What the flip?!” Urd cried, clearly flustered at what just took place between her, Peroth and Peroth and her angel.

“ If you were going to ask your angel to do it, why did you-”

“ Bother with yours?” Peroth cut in, now positing the ladder under the crock of her arm pit.

“ Because I thought it would be fun for World of Elegance, that's all.” Simple answer.

“ Gee. Isn't she just popular today!” Urd barked back, rather insulted. World of Elegance and Glorious Rose moved away from their masters, both deciding that their hovering forms were not needed for this particular cross fire between the two deities. By the time Peroth and Urd got the ladder and other minor construction tools out of the way and back into storage, the ceremony was well under way. Re-entering the ceremony hall, Urd grew slightly dizzy seeing the room packed with so many races of deities and their spirits simply mingling among one another. Ironically, though the mob, Urd caught sight on Belldandy. When she arrived in heaven, Urd did not know, but it didn't matter. At least Urd could see World of Elegance off on her vacation at ease, knowing she wouldn't be going off alone.

“ So sis did register Holy Bell after all...” Peroth overheard Urd's comment and couldn't help but add,

“ Of course. She was the first person I asked. And yes, Skuld registered Noble Scarlet. I'm sure she'll be here anytime. Her shift is almost over I believe...” As if planned from the start, Skuld came stumbling into the hall, Noble Scarlet floating worriedly behind her. There were so many people in the room, it rather frightened the young angel. Thankfully, Urd found Skuld and World of Elegance found her. Seeing World of Elegance made Noble Scarlet so happy, she rushed right at her, locking her smaller arms around World of Elegance's waist. Unlike the other spirits, World of Elegance had normal legs, while the rest were bound to a cloud spiral. However, once they entered into Athena's Castle, they would be also be given the choice to use legs if they desired, just Like World of Elegance, who had them by default. It seemed only fair to Kami, who knew how each and every one of the deities angels were designed. He also knew it would be hard for the other spirits to enjoy themselves to the fullest if they were forced to remain in their cloud spiral. World of Elegance grinned down at Noble Scarlet, glad to see she would be going to Athena's Castle with her and the rest.

“ Hey there Skuld... long time no see!” Urd exclaimed, not really all that happy to see the girl who caused her to loose precious hours of sleep. Skuld got bumped by Rind of all people and would have fallen flat on her face if not for Urd's quick reflexes.

“ Sorry about that.” The battle goddess remarked over her shoulder, continuing about with her two angels. World of Elegance didn't miss the disgusted scowls from her two rivals, but for her own sake she pretended she didn't see it. Noting the clenching in World of Elegance's jaw, Noble Scarlet stole a look at Spear Mint and Cool Mint. They looked cocky as ever to her which could only mean trouble for World of Elegance. Not wanting her to feel dejected, Noble Scarlet increased her hold, trying to let her know she was there for her. World of Elegance returned the hug to simply let Noble Scarlett know she was grateful, but she refused to look at her. A good ten minutes passed before Peroth called everyone to attention. While she gave the introduction speech, Urd and Skuld made their way over to Belldandy's side. Belldandy smiled at her two sisters, delighted that both of them could make it to the ceremony.

" Did Peroth call you too?" She asked her older sister, watching Holy Bell float over to World of Elegance. Urd shrugged shoulder, not sure how to answer.

" Well... she did call and tell me about it... but it was kind of a last minute thing." Belldandy's smile faltered.

" You don't seem happy." Urd laughed softly, drawing her younger sister into a one-arm embrace.

" Eh, it doesn't matter if I'm happy or not. It's about them anyway..." Urd nodded at the the three angels crowded around each other. Holy Bell was currently smoothing out World of Elegance's hair, who blushed slightly, somewhat embarrassed to be groomed. Noble Scarlet simply continued to hug World of Elegance's middle, overly joyed that she was going with them to Athena's Castle.

" I'm worried about Noble Scarlet... what if she gets homesick? What if she gets sick period? Or worse, she finds a cute guy and develops a crush?! I can't deal with the bugs and my angel's issues all at once." Skuld was absolutely loosing it, Urd was sure of it. Sighing, Urd gathered her up in her other arm.

" Relax Skuld. She's got World of Elegance and Holy Bell too, remember? I'm sure if something happens, they'll be there to help her." Skuld didn't relax regardless. She mentally ranted on and gradually went off in her own little world.

“ Without further or due, please welcome Kami-sama himself.” Peroth finished with her speech and introduced Kami proudly, hoping she didn't make a fool out of herself in the process. It might not have looked like it from the audience's point of view, but Peroth was trembling on the inside. She really hated public speaking, even though she did all the time and even though all the faces in the crowd she knew, it didn't help with her stage fright at all. While Kami did his short, yet highly information speech on Athena's Castle and what not, Peroth silently excused herself from the hall and made her way over to the castle itself. It wasn't like she needed to hurry over there, but she did need to get the booth set up so she could file who and why breed of spirit intended to use legs and which ones preferred their cloud. Not only that, the vortex gate still needed to be activated. These tasks seemed simple enough but knowing how things usual turn out, Peroth didn't want to take any chances.

“ Dad didn't really have a lot to say huh? I'm surprised... usually his speeches are at least an hour's worth.” Urd commented, prolonging her arms lazily over her head to stretch them.

“ I'm sure he just wants to get the angels to the the castle is all. As he said, today is officially the start of their vacation.” Belldandy stood correct of course but Urd didn't much care. All she wanted to do was find pup, get a little tipsy then return back to her bed. That was her aspiration at the moment... Skuld was still flipping out over Noble Scarlet―go figure. Noble Scarlet was aware her her master's behavior, but she pretended not to notice. One by one, the deities and their angels gathered over on the other side of the heaven where Peroth once again, greeted them. The walk hadn't been terribly long, it merely was chore to Urd. Then again, she did have the choice to fly like her sister and the rest had. It was quicker and killed a lot of time. Sadly, Urd didn't have the energy to take to the sky and she refused World of Elegance's offer let her fly her over. After all the angels were accounted for, and Peroth had a official count of who wanted legs and who didn't, she told the masters to stand back behind the white line she herself marked, then kindly gestured for the spirits to step, or fly into the vortex that would take them to Athena's Castle.

“ Be careful you two. Look out for each other, mind yourselves... and um, have fun.” Rind informed her angels, not really sure on how she should see them off. Cool Mint and Spear Mint hugged their master and pecked her the forehead before sauntering away.

“ Have a good time. And remember, if you ever feel the need return, just contact me. Kami said there were phone lines in the castle... so yeah, just call if you feel like it's not working out.” Chronos whispered along side her angel's earlobe, doing her best not to cry. She told herself she wasn't going to cry and blast it all, she was getting teary eyed and her angel hadn't even gone through the gate yet.

“ Are you sure you want to do this?” Air timidly asked her angel, who nodded her head for the fourth time that morning. Air sighed, giving the portal a wary glare.

“ Okay... just—just be yourself and... enjoy your vacation.” Air was having a little trouble letting her angel go. This was going the be the first time she would be separated from her by free will. However, Air knew justlike every other deity that the spirits deserved this vacation more then anything. They as their masters, shouldn't come in their way no matter hard it was to let them go idle for a few weeks. Smiling, Air's angel drew Air into her arms. When Air felt those slim arms withdraw and watched her hurry through the gate, she could finally smile and let the tears go. It would be weird not having her inside her body, but Air truly did hope her angel would enjoy herself with the others.

“ Peroth, you told me someone's angel would watch over my Distant Desire... you have yet to tell me who that someone's angel is.” Morgan stiffly remarked at the Goddess of Roses in the booth, slightly annoyed.

“ Ah that's right. I did didn't I?” Her carefree attitude was not taken lightly by the fairy. Narrowing her eyes, she increased the edge behind her voice.

“ Peroth, in case you haven't noticed, all the angels are leaving!” Morgan snapped, succeeding in drawing Peroth's full unwanted attention. Peroth rested her elbows on top of the booth's counter top, casting Morgan a deadly glare of her own.

“ I'm amazed that someone with your kind of attitude received a Angel Egg... anyway, World of Elegance is the one you're looking for. I haven't seen her go through, so she's most likely waiting for your angel...” Morgan eye brows shot up slightly.

“ World of Elegance...?” She echoed, a little uneasy on the inside. Out of all the angels, Peroth asked Urd's angel to keep an eye over hers. Seeing her reaction to the news, Peroth surprised herself by defending World of Elegance.

“ She's the most mistreated angel in the realm. Even hell's devils wont accept her. World of Elegance... has experienced hardship since her birth. I mean, first Urd banishes her and by the way, I'm sure that hurt World of Elegance's feelings a lot. To hear words like “I hate you” and “Don't touch me, you monster!” must of stung. Angels after all, reflect the soul of their master. Then after Urd accepted her, both she and Urd were resented that much more. And for what? Because they're not “pure” breeds like some of us? You know, there are other half-breeds out there, but I don't see them getting kicked in the face like I see Urd and World of Elegance do.” Peroth's face darkened.

“ Are you saying you don't trust a mixed angel like World of Elegance because her master is Urd? Or do you fear that your angel will get picked on that much more because her nanny will be World of Elegance? I bet your angel would be scared at it's age to go to that castle alone. With no one to talk to, no one to play with. I bet it would feel helpless―powerless in a big world... and let's say, one of the other angels did tease yours. Would she have the means to stand up for herself? Or would she get made fun of for trying to look tough or simply being herself? This may come to a shock to you Morgan, but our angels don't just reflect our souls, but our characteristics as well. Meaning, they can be just as good or just as bad in appearance like their master. As I said in my introduction speech earlier, the angels will be given the will to speak and behave as they wish—just as long as they abide by the rules... but let's be honest. Do you really think some of them will follow the rules? I already expect some of them to act like jerks and have little respect for others. So what makes you think, your angel is exempt from abuse? Physical, or verbal? Of course I'm going to monitor their status and if any of that were to happen, their master's would be informed right away... but I won't be able to catch everything that goes on between the spirits. However, they have thoughts and feelings, just like us. Only when they are bound to us, are certain thoughts and feelings limited... at Athena's Castle, they won't be.” Peroth closed her eyes momentarily before making direct eye contact with the fairy.

“ If you were to ask me, which angel feels alone... maybe a little scared and helpless in a big, big world filled with bullies and hatred aside from your own... without a doubt, it would would be World of Elegance. Yet, she doesn't meet your standards for being a suitable nanny for Distant Desire? Just why do you think I asked Urd in the first place, even though there were others I could have gone to?“ Morgan's facial expression softened at this point.

“ It's because of someone like World of Elegance who already is feeling what Distant Desire is experiencing at her age, that makes her the perfect caretaker. If you honestly feel I made a error in my judgment, then perhaps you should have asked around yourself?” Morgan shook her head gently from side to side, very much ashamed that she did indeed, think World of Elegance was a poor choice. She should have realized that if asking someone like Peroth for help, that she'd select only the best. And for Morgan's angel, World of Elegance was the best. Speaking of World of Elegance, she, Holy Bell and Noble Scarlet were making their way over to the booth. Their masters had to stay behind the line just like everyone else. Belldandy and Urd were totally fine by this. It was Skuld who wasn't taking it so well.

“ What if she fractures her wings?! What if she gets lost in the castle and the boy she's crushing on finds her and they.. they... do “naughty” things?! I will not allow this! You hear me Noble Scarlet, I won't allow this! This is not dignified, for someone who's first name is “Noble”, now get back here!” Exclaimed the inventor, being forced back by her two sisters and drawing a lot of unwanted attention from other deities. Pausing by the booth, Noble Scarlet heaved a sigh. She couldn't believe how bad Skuld was taking this. Neither could Holy Bell and World of Elegance for that matter.

“ For the love of―she'll be fine, okay?! And who is this guy she's so in love with? I mean sure some angels are males and they're all rooming at the castle but Skuld, even you must see that you're being ridiculous about it! I told World of Elegance to make sure Noble Scarlet does none of those things, so calm down already!” Urd shouted in fury at her little sister, bewildered at how much of a fight Skuld was putting up. At the booth, Peroth presented a sign-up looking sheet. Even though she had a count on her wanted legs and who didn't, she still needed each individual angel to write down their signature. Holy Bell and Noble Scarlet took turns on writing down “legs”. It was at this time, Morgan faced World of Elegance and told her angel to come out of her. Distant Desire emerged and cautiously peeked over her master's shoulder. Seeing World of Elegance offer a friendly wave in greeting made Distant Desire erased all of her hesitation. Just like World of Elegance, she naturally had legs and not the cloud spiral. This of course, was a result of Morgan being a half-breed—although only one person in the entire realm knew this and that was Morgan herself. She was 99 percent fairy and somehow, only one perfect from the other side of her family showed in her blood. She fooled everyone and wanted to keep fooling. After seen the way Urd got treated, Morgan vowed to never let a soul know she was part demoness and part fairy. And because of that measly one percent, her angel developed legs and not a cloud spiral.

“ Take good care of her... World of Elegance.” Morgan proclaimed softly, glad to see how well Distant Desire was warming up to World of Elegance. Already, she was standing beside her with a small smile, seeming very content with her her master chose to be her caretaker. Bowing her head in response, World of Elegance, along with Holy Bell and Noble Scarlet, entered into the vortex. A few other angels were still lingering, mainly because their masters were having a hard time saying good-bye... kind of like Skuld, only on a mature level. Once they finally departed from their masters, signed their names and entered the vortex, Peroth came out of booth, carrying the clip board that contained the sheets of papers. Peroth didn't miss the restless looks on ever other face staring at her behind the line.

“ Guys, guys. Reeelax! Your angels will be fine, I promise. Sheesh, return to work if you're still on duty or just... go home.” Thankfully, the other deities took her advice and left the area, but one remained behind, keeping her harsh gaze on Peroth until the Goddess of Roses confronted her.

“ What is it Rind? I have a lot of filing to do... can we make this quick?” Rind merely frowned at her.

“ If my angels come back and I find so much a feather misplaced by a certain abomination, expect more papers to be filed against a certain unwanted goddess—if you can truly call her that.” Peroth was glad Urd wasn't around to hear such talk. Granted, Rind and Urd didn't have the greatest relationship in the world, but that was just uncalled for.

“ Easy there Rind, your horns are showing. Furthermore, I don't want to hear about World of Elegance being an “unwanted existence” when your angels don't seem to hide their “unwanted” prejudice against her.” Peroth smiled, but it was far from kind. Evil, was more like it.

“ It's kind of scary to know how much they take after their master, isn't it? I'd be more concerned about useless garbage rather then a disturbance caused by another. Pity I can't throw the garbage out... ” Peroth took on a look of rage of her own, making it blunt that she really did like Rind at the moment.

“ Then again, it's so rotten and terrible tasting, not even the rodents would roll in it... have a nice day Rind.” Peroth did a swift U-turn and stormed away, not bothering to hear Rind out on the subject any more. Rind thought Peroth's choosing of words was unjustifiable. She itched to draw her spear lace and challenge the goddess to a duel right then and there. But that too, would prove to be futile. Also, it would only show how pathetically desperate she was to have the last word. And it wasn't like what Peroth spoke was untrue. Her angels were cruel towards World of Elegance but then again, most of heaven and hell's spirits shunned the mixed angel without mercy... so why was Peroth getting onto her so hard? Rind was blowing off everything coming out of her mouth until she insulted Cool Mint and Spear Mint, saying that they were lower than trash. That was like saying Rind herself was lower then dirt. She failed to see how she could be. How could their leader allow himself to sleep with the enemy and produce a offspring and entitle his rulership to that child? How could Urd be “pure” when she clearly wasn't and have a mother, who claimed to love her lordship, yet was trying to destroy heaven 24/7? How could people like Peroth and Mara even, rest easy knowing what Urd was capable of, wonder around so freely? How could heaven mislook her betrayal when she became Lord of Terror? How could Urd be blessed with a angel that is supposed to stand for justice, holiness and utter purity? As long as such things were uncompromisable, Rind would never let Urd off easy... and she made sure her angels did the same towards World of Elegance.

Words couldn't describe how awesome the environment of the resort took the angel's by surprise, let alone the castle a few yards off. The castle was huge—insanely huge! For the longest time, they all stood still in place, gawking at the breath taking beauty of the land and Athena's Castle. Water falls were present in other other main direction in the distance, the grass was knee length for the most part and shimmed in the sun's rays. Trees were everywhere! Many of the trees, had plump, well-rounded fruit. The castle surprisingly, was not the medieval type, but a Arab type. The angelic, celestial engraved artwork spoke for itself. The marble texture of then entire castle added a nice effect. It almost looked like glass in the sunlight. Smooth and fragile.

“ It's big...” Came the feeble words from a random angel somewhere in the line.

“ Yeah, it sure is—wait a minute! We can talk?” Another cried, amazed that she was indeed, speaking. Normally if a angel wanted to speak, they were only allowed to make mental contact with their master and that was extremely rare. If one angel happened to be out while their master past another deity and their angel was out, they were only allowed to gesture at one another. They knew Kami was permitting the angels to do whatever, whenever. But never did they dare think he would grant them the ability to speak freely! Instantly, the spirits turned to exchange some minor small talk, all very much thrilled that they could speak. No one spoke to World of Elegance of course. She somehow expected this kind of of treatment... but it didn't make it any less insulting. Holy Bell was already being spoke to by some of the head battle male angels. It disgusted World of Elegance on a personal level. Even her looks weren't appealing enough to make a male angel turn his head. She also predicated this would happen and boy did it set her wings off.

“ Noble Scarlet, how ya doing? Isn't this cool? I mean, we can actually communicate with each other!” Archer, a very handsome angel, who's master was just as fetching, popped up beside Noble Scarlet, who was standing on World of Elegance's left, while Distant Desire stuck close to her right.

“ Yeah... but it's kinda weird. I mean, we just... don't do these sorts of things, you know?” Ironically, Noble Scarlet's voice sounded just as airy and slightly high as Skuld's. Archer's smile met his clear hazel eyes, causing a unknown stir within Noble Scarlet.

“ Hmm, I suppose it is. But I'm sure we'll get used to it.”

“ In three weeks? Granted if nothing happens that they would have to call us back...” She replied, blinking a few times up at him. Archer stroked at his light raven stubble, humming aloud thoughtfully.

“ Well,” He finally sighed.

“ three weeks isn't long enough to get used to much, but hey—ya' never know.” Archer bowed his head in respect before sauntering away to rejoin a male group of angels.

“ I'm going to find a room... Distant Desire, do you mind? Afterwards, I'll follow you around wherever you want. Or if you want to share a room, I don't mind that either... just tell me if you want to or not. There's no point in getting a private room if you want me to bunk with you.” Distant Desire and Noble Scarlet were so taken aback at how gentle, yet deep and reserved World of Elegance sounded, all the two did was stare at her with wide eyes. Not hearing a response, she tipped her head down and slanted it over to her right, waiting for the small angel to say something.

“ O-Oh. Right. Um... if it's okay, could we...?” Without Warning, World of Elegance swept Distant Desire off her temporarily legs and up into her arms. Distant Desire blushed on the spot, not quite expecting such a powerful lift from the mixed angel.

“ Hang on.” World of Elegance commanded, flexing her two muti-colored wings, prepping them for a take off. It was only until World of Elegance was in the air when Noble Scarlet realized something about the castle and World of Elegance's current actions.

“ Why can't you enter through the main gates like everyone else?!” She shouted up at her, very much similar as to how Skuld would do to Urd.

“ Now where's the fun in that?” She shot back, grinning down at the younger angel. It was then when some of the other angels decided they would head into the castle. Some took to the air like World of Elegance did, some went through the gates. World of Elegance saw Spear Mint and Cool Mint fly further ahead of her to her displeasure. Of all the angels, why did those two have to fly into the castle?

“ What's wrong World of Elegance? Getting to old to keep up?” They asked together, thrusting their lone wings with such strength, they knocked off World of Elegance's balance. She recovered quickly, still keeping a firm hold around Distant Desire. Oh how she wanted to teach them a thing or two...

“ Anou, World of Elegance-sama?” World of Elegance's current attention shifted down to the angel in her arms.

“ You're calling me that already? We've just met, Distant Desire...” World of Elegance mumbled, returning her attention back to the scenery in front of her. She flew through a arch, which was wide enough that ten more angels could of gone through all at once.

“ I-I know. But... is it not true that you're older then me? Not only that, but higher in class?” World of Elegance exhaled, not sure on what to say.

“ Yes, that's true. But I don't want you to address me like that. If you're stuck on doing so, at least use “san”. And since my name is ridiculously long, you can just call me El.”

“ El...san? I like it.” Distant Desire chirped, her flushing again for the second time.

“ Oh?” Rumbled World of Elegance, her voice sending chills down Distant Desire's spine.

“ Yeah. It sounds pretty—at least to me it does.” World of Elegance couldn't help but smile down at the small angel.

“ You're cute...” She told her, landing perfecting on the marble surface of Athena's Castle. She of course, was one of the first angels inside the castle. Under seconds, other angels landed along side her or around that area, while others trotted happily through the main gates. The inside of the castle was even more exotic then the outside. There was no desk to check in, no one telling them where to go. Everything was in their hands and the angels couldn't of have had it any other way. The rooming was simple enough. When a angel found a room he or she wanted, all they had to do was take the laser ink pen hanging on the side of the sliding door and write their name or names, depending on if they decided to bunk on the transparent tag below the pen and instantly, the room recognized who it's occupants were. If someone else tried to enter that room, the door would obviously not open. And it wasn't like the names on the pad could be altered or changed by someone else because the pad itself was a computer chip that saved the names in it's database. Not only that, when a angel or a group of angels that signed in for that room, the room's built in web cam linked directly to Peroth, who was filing down who was in what room. If anything, she would definitely know what was going on.

“ Oh I like this room—it's prefect for us, don't you think El-san? Not too big or too small, just right. And look, we even get TV! Ooo, it's a flat screen one too.” Distant Desire giggled, rolling playfully on the grand double queen sized bed.

“ You see happy.” World of Elegance made herself comfortable in one of the lounge chairs by one of the many four windows in the room, exhaling softly to herself.

“ I am happy. Aren't you, El-san?” World of Elegance lowered her eyes slightly.

“ Yes... I am. Say, Distant Desire, why did your master insist for you to have a baby-sitter? You seem like you'd fair all right, or maybe that's just my lazy observation from first impressions?” Distant Desire had the appearance of a eight year-old but her personality almost seemed to counter that age. Distant Desire sat up on the bed, swing her slim legs up and over.

“ Eventually somewhere along the line, I would wish that I had someone there by my side. My master obviously isn't going to be there... just by looking at some of the other angels today, I could already that if not for you, I really would have been a stray wolf. It's not that I need to be included or “baby-sat”. I could of handled being alone without much to contribute to, seeing as how everyone else has their roots in the ground. Me, I'm just now getting my roots planted...” Distant Desire smiled a sad smile.

“ I don't know if you noticed or not, but I have a bad wing. If my body doesn't correct this error, I will not be able to fly.” World of Elegance arched any eyebrow at this.

“ Really?” She mused quietly, intrigued by what Distant Desire had to say.

“ And well... it's just nice to be with someone. But please, don't feel like you must stay by my side. This is your vacation too... if you flat out don't want to have anything to do with cripple like me, just tell me. I'm not so weak I can't take verbal abuse.” World of Elegance shook her head gently from side to side.

“ Ne. I was asked by my master and I fully and willing accepted. If I didn't want to keep an eye on you Distant Desire, I simply wouldn't be in this room with you.” Hearing those few words made Distant Desire so happy, she scurried off the bed and flung herself into World of Elegance's lap and slid her small arms around the mixed angel's neck.

“ I don't know why the other angels insist you're a cold hearted beast that doesn't have carry a ounce of dignity. I think you're pretty cool for taking the time on your vacation to watch over me.” World of Elegance had a good hunch as to who would tell Distant Desire such nonsense, but she kept her suspicions to herself. Smiling, World of Elegance brought up her hands and rested them on Distant Desire's backside.

“ You're welcome. Sorry if I gave you scare with my question... I was just curious is all. I get the feeling we're going to become good friends, Distant Desire.” Distant Desire snuggled into World of Elegance chest, muttering,

“ Call me D.D. My name isn't as long as yours, but I think it would be nice to establish a nickname to go by, just like yours, El-san.” Distant Desire felt the quiet laughter in World of Elegance chest before she released it.

“ You know what D.D.? I think I can get used to this after all...”
