Disclaimers: I do not own any part whatsoever of Prince of Tennis.
Summary: Fuji, deep inside, wished that Tezuka would take a liking towards him just as he did with Echizen Ryoma, profound prodigy. But to Tezuka, he was nothing more than a shadow. Enjoy! And don’t forget to review please!

Empty Reflection

And his wish did come true, but the tensai only wished for more – he craved for more – he wanted more.
True, it was selfish of him to be desiring such things and thinking such thoughts, but just as Tezuka was a human, so was he. He couldn’t help it if he wanted to be just more than friends with Tezuka. He wanted to be lovers with him, even though he knew in this kind of society, it was truly wrong.
And yet, just yet, how was that little Echizen Ryoma getting so close to him? Why couldn’t he be so close to Tezuka as he was? It just seemed…unfair.
Wait – was he, Fuji Syuusuke, experiencing…jealousy?
He shook his head, and turned away from the two conversing to one another. Rubbing his temples deftly, Fuji sighed in exasperation and walked far, far away from them, especially from Tezuka.
‘To: Fuji’ said the tag attached to the bow.
Strange it was, for whoever had placed the present to him inside his locker one day before Christmas day was supposed to have done it tomorrow. But maybe it was for the better so this small box would actually be noticed. Untying the lacy ribbon, he lifted the petite cover of the container to find inside…a fresh, new film for his camera.
Smiling to himself as he placed the cover back to its original position, Fuji closed his locker door after taking out his necessary belongings and stuffing the gift box into his breast pocket. It was the same thing from him everyday, but at the least Fuji knew that he wasn’t forgotten by him.
