Heya! This is my first Beyblade fic so bear with me as it's a little fast paced. Please review, will make me sure of what I'm doing by posting this. Enjoy!

I do not own Beyblade but I own the girls and their families.

Let It Rip, Chapter 1: And So It Begins

Hey. My name's Faye Rowland, i'm 14.

Anyway,

It all started when me and my best friends Bobbie Rose and Jasmine Young were walking home from school (we live on the same street) when loads of people were crowded over a large ticket booth which was just outside our school entrance. The stand was painted silver and a man, about thirty years old or so, wearing a dishevelled suit with trainers was stood behind it. Interested, we went up to investigate.

It turned out the man was selling tickets to a local Beyblading tournament. Me and my friends were astounded by that. We love Beyblades, Beyblading and we're pretty good. We rushed up to get our tickets. By the skin of our teeth we got the last. They were silver with writing in gold:

Come to the Annual BBA Beyblade Tournament in London!

It told us the date and time of the tournament and if we wanted to be involved we were to enter in a team as soon as possible. The tournament start's on the 15th February- two weeks away.

We ran home, my Mother entering us on the phone,

"You need a team name, girls!"

"Um..."

We all looked at each other, throwing suggestions to each other quickly.

"How about The Smashers?" Bobbie suggested.

"Nah- too tough. We need a nicer name..." Jasmine said. I had a surge of inspiration,

"How about the Serene Slashers?" I said. Bobbie's and Jasmine's faces brightened up.

"Yeah!"

"That's perfect!"

We relayed this to my Mum and she relayed it to the person on the other line.

We spent the rest of the evening training and training and training. Bobbie was unconfident of our talents as none of us have Bit Beasts, but Jasmine and I comforted her in the fact that we don't need Bit Beasts to be good, but secretly, I really want one.

We trained in my room, which is huge and has a large metal dish that I use for practising. The room is painted purple, to match my blade, and is adorned with posters of the Bladebreakers, our heroes and favourite team.

THIS DIARY IS RUBBISH!

What? Grr, that must have been my little brother, Jake. I leave for one minute and he scribbles all over it. I tell you, i'll be glad to leave the little ten year old when the tournament's on.

Sucky, yeah. But i'm trying, and hopefully it'll get better. Review, pleeeeease, with any tips or comments you may have. Thanks!

AB,

x.
