A/N#1: Here is again one of my attempts of making a fic. Bear with me. Those who read “Absolutely (Story of a Girl)” I am still making the third chapter. Or should I say I was, until a certain pest (my cousin) started going through my files and he “accidentally” (or so he says) deleted it. Some of you might think “LAME EXCUSE!!” well, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!! Anyway, this is a Harry Potter/X-Men Crossover. For those who read “The New Beginning” well, I’m erasing it and replacing it with this one.
A/N#2: Many of the Xavier students here are OC. I made them up. Some mutants might have a different name: like I don’t know Iceman, Boom-Boom, or Shipwreck’s name. While others, I took them from the movie. ) Sabertooth is alive here.
Well, here we go.
Chapter 1: First Xavier Encounter
The whole student body of Hogwarts was in confusion. The teaching staff was in utter chaos. Teachers were teaching every student, from extinguishing fires, to making water float in mid-air. Of course, all of the 6th to 7th years already know how to do this but it was not taught to them when they were in first year.
Snape began teaching them how to make wolfsbane potion, Veritaserum, Polyjuice Potion (which was very easy for the trio) and a few others that even Hermione did not know about.
“What bloody hell is going on?!” Ron grumbled for the umpteen time, after being awakened by the sound of a muggle alarm for three weeks.
“I have no idea.” Harry replied. “Well, I hope they have nice explanation for this.” Hermione said obviously getting annoyed as they went to the Great along with the other sleep-deprived students.
When they reached the Great Hall, they noticed a few minor things:
1. Another table added between the Gryffindor and Slytherin Table, making it five rows of table.
2. The teachers are all wide-awake and wearing muggle clothing.
And
3. There is a big television hanging in mid-air by the Ravenclaw table.
The students quickly seated themselves, except those who have not seen a television before (save the Slytherins) stood gaping at it, until McGonagall cleared her throat.
Dumbledore stood up, automatically silencing everyone (again, save the Slytherins).
“I have grave news to share with all of you. And that is the sole purpose of this television.” He started, as the television started to show black and white dots.
“Xavier Institute (A/N: or is it School) for Gifted Youngsters is an American school that takes in students with rare abilities. And it seems that they need our help.” Dumbledore paused, “The television’s purpose is for us to see them and what their problem is. They can’t see us but can hear me through this.” Dumbledore held up a small black microphone.
“A message was sent a couple of minutes ago, that they are being attacked. I have contacted them to show us what is actually happening. I know others would not care what happens to them. But I know some are worried.”
Dumbledore cast a glance to Seamus Finnigan, Justin Flinch-Fletchley, and Terry Boot.
Harry noticed that the three were anxious.
Suddenly, the television began showing figures. They were teenagers most likely in Harry’s age. They seemed to be in some sort of big grey round room, with lots of buttons and levers. They’re covered in dirt, had scrapes, and bruise all over. A girl kneeled down, that they could see her perfectly. Well, there was something familiar about her.
Well, she kinda looked like Harry. It was like his female counter part minus the scar.
“Well, well, well, I guess I’ve seen too many Potter wannabe’s that I’d give the prize to our Potter.” Malfoy drawled, making the Slytherin table roar in laughter that only silenced by Snape’s intense gaze.
“Hello? Can anyone hear me?” the girl whispered.
“Yes, Ms. Rivers, we can hear you loud and clear. What is happening there?” Dumbledore asked.
“Uhm, we’re being attacked -” she was interrupted when someone snorted in the background.
“Sarah, I think it’s pretty obvious that we’re being attacked.” A boy kneeled beside her.
“As I was saying, before I was rudely interrupted.” Sarah shot a glare to the boy, “we’re being attacked by Death Eaters.”
A gasp was heard among the students, while a snort was heard among the Slytherins that they started to snigger, that, again was silenced by Snape’s stare.
“A hundred or so Inferi, and Death Eaters.” The boy said.
Another gasp was heard.
“Right.” Sarah nodded with sarcasm, as the boy stood up and left.
“Actually, John wasn’t exact, because if he was, we could have defeated them all.” Sarah said, not noticing a small trickle of blood flowing down from a cut on her forehead.
“The Inferi are actually close to a thousand, and the Death Eaters are not to be found yet, although they were seen within the vicinity.” Then a couple of explosions were heard from a distance. Then more figures appeared. “I don’t know what they’re doing here, exactly.”
“Any casualties?” However, it was not Dumbledore who asked it was Snape. This earned a gasp from everyone. Of course, since Snape was not known for his kind attitudes.
“Uhm,” Sarah was in deep thought. She turned around to look at her companions.
“No casualties yet.” Came her reply. “We have a few students with either broken or bleeding limbs.”
Another explosion.
“Where are your professors?” Snape asked again.
“Uhm, the last time I saw Logan -” Dumbledore cleared his throat.
“I mean, the last time I saw Professor Logan, was when he was fighting with a panther.” Another explosion was heard, it seemed closer this time. “Professor Lupin (the students that considered Lupin their favorite teacher [including the Trio gasped) and Professor Munroe were last seen by the mansion entrance, fending the Inferi. Professor McCoy is by the field, searching for the Death Eaters.” Sarah said as more Xavier students came in with injuries.
“I’ll send some of the Hogwarts teachers there to help.” Dumbledore spoke, Sarah shook her head,
“Even if you come, there is already too much damage. Our Floo network is still working; all we can do is to send our injured students there, while we fight here.”
Dumbledore nodded. “Very well.” Nevertheless, he sent McGonagall, Snape, Flitwick and Vector to Xavier. While Madam Pomfrey stood, up and headed toward the Hospital Ward.
Sarah stood up and began giving out instructions, “Okay guys, those who are wounded are going to be flooed to Hogwarts since our infirmary is now being swarmed by Inferi. Those who can still fight may stay, but I will not force you. You can leave with the others to Hogwarts. Those who want to stay raise their hand.”
John, the boy earlier, raised his hand along with a couple of others, as they started leaving the room. Those injured however, even if they wanted to stay and fight, are forced to leave.
Dumbledore faced the Hogwarts students, “Through the past weeks we have been teaching you how to survive the war. Now through the three weeks I have picked four students who excelled in Healing, may I ask you to proceed to the Hospital Wing to help Madam Pomfrey?”
The students waited in anticipation. Or at least they pretended to be, when they were too engrossed on what is happening in Xavier.
“Kevin Whitby.” The Hufflepuffs applauded.
“Ginevra Weasley.” The Gryffindors roared in applause. Ginny grumbled about calling her by her complete name, while the Slytherins sniggered.
“Orla Quirke.” The Ravenclaw clapped.
“Pansy Parkinson” The Slytherins were politely clapping as Pansy stood and followed the rest of the students to the Hospital Wing.
The Hogwarts students watched through the screen again.
The other students disappeared, while Sarah was escorting the last student through the fireplace.
However, she was not alone.
When she turned around, she came face-to-face, well, not actually face-to-face, more like face-to- claw with a man with long blond hair and his fangs were clearly visible through his grin.
“Why, hello there Sabertooth.” She smiled.
“Well, well, well, look what we have here.” Sabertooth smirked. “The little pest that we’ve been trying to capture is finally alone, with me!” he growled then suddenly pounced. Some Hogwarts students sighed in relief when Sarah jumped back and ran towards the other end of the room.
“I always wanted a piece of you ever since you joined the X-Men. Magneto will be pleased with me.” Sabertooth snarled before pouncing again. Again, Sarah evaded.
Sarah rolled her eyes. “As if that is gonna happen, asshole. As I recall, every time that I’m around you I can kick you hairy ass.” She spat.
The man tsked. “It seems that our little summer pest is in a bad mood.” They began circling one another. “Your brother,” He pretended to be in deep thought. “What’s his name again? Oh yes, Alex.” He emphasized the name. “He didn’t seem too pissed when I ended his misery for him.” Sabertooth smirked showing his fangs.
Sarah clenched her fist. “Really? My brother is dead? Well, more money for me then.” She shrugged her shoulders.
The Hogwarts students were shocked, seeing a girl act toward the way for her brother.
“Let’s cut the bullshit then. Ready to die?” he asked as he took off his coat.
“You really should cut those nails of yours. They’re rather filthy underneath.” Sarah exclaimed. “Besides, you’re gonna lose one way or another.”
“Oh. I’m scared.” Sabertooth mocked then lunged first.
Sarah stepped back missing the claw for a few centimeters. Then she gestured her hand towards a big machine, it started to levitate. She threw it at the man, who rolled out just in time.
The Hogwarts students watched in horror and amazement by this fight. Harry was impressed, as the girl moved swiftly.
The fight went on.
“You’re getting old Sabertooth. You’re slowing down.” Sarah smirked as jumped aside and placed her arms forward, as if pushing something. Sabertooth hurled backwards
Everyone was shocked.
“How can that be?” Hermione muttered, “Advance Magic? No. She’s not even holding a wand.”
“Wandless Magic.” Harry replied. Hermione nodded, but still was not convince and resumed watching.
Sarah waved her hand to the side as Sabertooth flew through the wall. A few moments later, Sabertooth stood up again. He growled, and started to jump when another man lunged himself at him. “Didn’t your mama ever teach you never hit a girl?” the man asked as he threw Sabertooth through the other side. Sarah smiled but quickly faded, as she yelled. “LOOK OUT!!” a semi-transparent wave hit the man and threw through the same wall.
In Hogwarts, the Xavier students who were already healed came to watch the fight. Marie entered the Great Hall first. She watched as Sarah fought a new enemy; while two large men, one was Sabertooth, the other had black hair and claws that came out between each knuckles started beating crap out of each other.
“Wolverine!” she gasped. Only a few Hogwarts students noticed her presence. Until, more Xavier students came flooding in. “Wolverine!” someone yelled. “Go Phoenix!” another one yelled. Then someone asked, “Who is Sarah fighting against?” as he made his way up front. He was quite tall, with chestnut hair and blue eyes. He was wearing, a black suit with a large X across the chest. Well, he wasn’t the only one wearing the suit. Few students too, while the others were just in their pajamas.
“That’s Archive” Marie replied. “What’s her powers?” he asked, “She can send large amounts of shock waves with just a clap or a snap of each hand.” Marie looked back up to the screen as Archive sent another wave towards Sarah making her fly backwards hitting a large machine, that instantly exploded. Sarah never stood up from the debris.
A/N#3: Well, what do you think? Even if I already made chapter 2, I won’t be posting another one until the day after tomorrow, so I’ll be able to have a few reviews by then.
A/N#4: Archive was from the X3: The Last Stand. If you wanted to imagine the suit, it’s the one in X3.
READ & REVIEW EVERYONE!!
