Disclaimer: I obviously own nothing to do with Moonlight.
A/N: This is a Mick/Beth centered poem.
Gone Without Reason
With empty eyes she looked around
Searching for the one thing she wanted most
From behind her came a sound
But she knew better than to get her hopes up
She pushed back her blonde hair
Then took a deep breath
His smell still lingered in the air
But she knew he was far from her
The sun had begun to set
And she felt her heart ache as she thought of him
And the time when they had first met
It seemed so long ago, but it couldn’t have been very long
He had left without any warnings
Pushing her away for her own good, or so he had said
The thought of never seeing him again brought forth fresh feelings
Feelings that tore her apart
A solitary tear rolled down her cheek
She brushed it away then looked around once again
Without him her home was so bleak
She would give anything to have him back
END
A/N: So…I didn’t make it rhyme like I usually do, but a poem is more about emotion. So…yeah. A review would be nice!
