Xehanort gave a low moan as he realized what he had just done... Ansem the Wise... banished to darkness... by his hands, no less...
Quit your wailing, we've got company. The darkness hissed as the footfalls became audible... The other apprentices came into Ansem's study, looking in awe at the destruction... Pictures torn to shreds, jars shattered... Xehanort had entered the study with Ansem, and now there was no sign of the king...
"Xehanort-" Ienzo was cut off as Xehanort simply brushed past them.
"It's nothing." He wanted to cry... to beg for forgiveness, but the darkness had him in its clutches. There is no escape for the damned.
"What happened in the study?" The question was once again brought up by Ienzo at the dinner table...
"Why not read my mind and find out?" Xehanort tauted, a smirk playing on his lips. Everyone knew Ienzo was the best mind-mage in the Gardens...
Ienzo frowned at Xehanort's retort, "You know I can't read your mind... It's fallen inside the black."
Xehanort frowned and squirmed a little in his seat... "Ansem the Wise is gone. He is not returning." As quickly as Xehanort expressed a discomfort, he melted back into his calm and cool persona...
"So... ya' did him in then?" Braig said soberly, trying to pretend that it didn't bother him at all, but there was still a slight frowned on his face.
Xehanort shook his head, smirking and heading out, "No, he is not dead. Simply unreachable. He's fallen inside the black."
And the end was coming for him now. He was almost lost in the darkness... He'd be a Heartless any day now... A mindless beast... The darkness tainted him... and now the darkness would take him.
He welcomed it. At the end he welcomed it. And that's when he discovered what many wise men already know. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
