Sonic is an antrophormorphic hedgehog that once lived on an island on the Planet Mobius with his caretaker, Celise, and his best friend,
Tails. He was created by his own arch-enemy, Dr. Ivo Robotnik, now known as Dr. Eggman. Sonic was once an artifical creation known as Project Sonic, and was being tested by Eggman and his niece, Celise.
He was a vicious, bloodthirsty hedgehog that could crush any living thing on Mobius. Despite being a success to Eggman, Celise thought this creature was a Monster, and that she had to do something about it. So late one night, while her sniveling uncle was fast asleep, she snook into the Lab, and took Project Sonic while it was in sleep mode.
She also took the 7 Chaos Emeralds that Dr. Eggman had stolen from Mobius. She left her Uncle for good, and took Project Sonic & the emeralds to a calm beach. Then, Celise used the power of the chaos emeralds to seal the Negative Energy within him. Afterwards, the now peaceful Sonic woke up and noticed the new world around him.

"Huh? Where am I?"

Then Sonic noticed the woman right next to him.

"Who are you? And who am I?"

Celise had put her hand on Sonic's Shoulder.

"Your name, is Sonic. And, you are my son."

Sonic was confused, and he asked her,

"I'm your son? What do you mean.."

Then Celise put her finger next to Sonic's mouth, and calmly shushed him.

"Please, don't speak. You've gone through a lot of stress. Come, give your mother a hug."

He tried to do exactly what she said. But when he got close to her,
he was wrapped between two soft, warm arms. He then did exactly what she did.

"You're in safe hands now Sonic. I promise from this day on, you will always be safe within my heart."

Sonic had felt a warm feeling inside. It became the start of a new relationship. However, they didn't live in peace forever, as Sonic's Creator, Dr. Eggman, became fueled with rage and he started stealing inhabitants of Mobius and turning them into robots. To keep the robots from stealing the Chaos Emeralds, Celise used a special machine to transport them to another world which could be accessed through giant rings. This was the start of Sonic's great Adventure. He traveled through the many lands of Mobius, destroying robots and freeing the animals, and collecting the Chaos Emeralds. He then came face to face with the egg shaped scientist himself. Thanks to his heroic efforts, and almost getting flattened into a Sonic Pancake, Sonic defeated Eggman, and recovered all of the Chaos Emeralds. That's when Sonic started having all these crazy new adventures. Then, many years later, Sonic & Tails were traveling the planet Earth via the Tornado Airplane, a portal had appeared in front of them and they got sucked in. However, they were seperated, and they ended up in different parts of Metropolis. Sonic himself, ended up right in front of his old pal, Mario. After Sonic told Mario what had happened, Mario came to the conclusion that Sonic, like himself, has become a Hero of Legend. Then, Sonic was given the invitation to join the "Realm Saviors", a group of Freedom Fighters who fights for peace on other Realms. Since Sonic was an Adventure loving guy, he accepted the invitation, and started becoming a legend, along with Tails who came in the scene later on. Nowadays, this Hedgehog is having more Adventures then he can ask for.
